Excellent video! Very informative ….thank you for posting this! I have a question. My PC is extremely similar to your set up. Same type and amount of ports on the back of my gpu. The only thing I have different from you is I have an additional smaller monitor on the side, next to my main monitor. Im in the middle of building a race sim and would like to do the triple monitor set up and also utilize 1 PC like you demonstrated here. Will I still be able to obtain this having that extra monitor. Also that display port switch is no longer available at amazon. Anything else you recommend?? Thanks again!

So beautiful. But i dont mind squishy buttons. I love love rubber caos also like almost rubber/plastic buttons with a little mush then nice pop. But these buttons do feel and sound great. But I truely believe rubber caps are the best on wheels. Not plastic. Thank god the mechanical click makes up for it. Also still the best shifters on the market lol.

you just need a metal break or someone in your town with a metal break you put a small bend right where it comes out of the box and then a small bend back you would be surprised how far it moves the handbrake away from the shifter a little zigzag Will do you

Thank you so much for making this video. I have almost exactly the same setup and i love being able to easily switch between desk and sim setup. It's fantastic that windows remembers to switch the other screens off when you switch to desk. (and the other way around) I never would have figured that out if it wasn't for your video

Thank you Aero. I have never purchased any sim setup before but I wanted to get a decent setup. I’ve done a lot of research over the last day or so and you compiled most of the stuff I learned in this video. I don’t know if you will see this since the video is older. I do have to ask does anyone recommend the podium DD2 or Podium DD1 QR2 or the new club sport DD+. Ps I’ve only raced irl and looking for the most immersion.

mmm i also cant handle it having a sim rig as main desktop chair..sry i cant have wheel inf ront of my while working lol or gaming resident evil etc..takes out all the confort and immersion..simr ig should by a sim rig for racing..yeha possibel watching a movie lol but thats it🤣than i prefer 2 pc or lap top ooooooorr streaming from pc too smart tv and racing on the smart tv on sim rig is also a option

It almost seems like iRacing isnt well optimized on the 4090.. triple 4k shoukd have been more fps on tripes, Just look at the 1%s, they are the same!

I know this is an old video but I use to run triple 55” LG C1 OLEDs and got tired of dealing with the adapters. Do you think these 48” monitors still hold up today? I’m gonna wait for a sale as they are currently $1200 each which is crazy I think lol. Gotta have DP forget HDMI. Thanks!🙏🏻

So my setup is the opposite 3 monitors on my main. One for sim racing. The switch did what I wanted to play on both. Thank you for this video

hiya i am in the middle of designing a 6dof system using the 300mm PT actuators as thier rigs dont allow 300s to be used as they stand, as actuator feet cant move enough (this is a headache in of itself but figured out a sliding foot system to allow it to achieve the aggressive angles). and like you i am planning on mounting monitors to the rig the same, hence i was planning on getting the scorpions for more power, what i am wondering is do you consider thier actuators as worth the money, and general quality overall is it good or not?

If you get the handbrake, try to figure a way to mount it to the base plate or some other part of the frame.

A bit confused-the link you provided shows one splitter. My question is: are you using four units to make your setup work (ignoring the VR setup)? Is each splitter connected to a separate port on the video card?

Hmm. In the GSI scenario. Doesnt the simcore extension adapt to 70mm so u dont need a GSI adapter plate? Cant you bolt on the gsi QR to the UH1 directly?

Thanks for the review. The throttle distance also pisses me off, but i adjusted recently and it improved a lot. The brake performance kit it is absolutely mandatory. It improves the pedal so much. I saw you feel the throttle too soft. You have the option to purchase the damper kit. I have the pedals for 4 years and i have never had problems. So, if you dont have the budged to purchase a super expensive pedals, i recommend te Clubsport V3.

My sim rig uses a single 49” G9 monitor plugged into the display port on my GPU. My desktop monitor is a 34” UW that uses hdmi. Would I use the same adapter? Should I just plug the desktop monitor directly into an hdmi port on my GPU?
