Starting my build now (6DOF). PT made a number of significant changes to the original one reviewed by the SRG. Several improvements based on Barry's feedback (and probably others). They ship with the updated servo drivers (white), which eliminated a low whine noise. A lot of little small improvements overall, so I'm happy to be a late comer, lol. They threw in the belt tensioner as a 10th anniversary gift (had no idea they've been around that long) at no extra charge. That was an unexpected surprise! I'm going to take my time and get it setup just as I envision, since this will be my primary flight sim rig, with VR. I'm sorta on a real world flying hiatus, so the sim is my primary means of keeping my head in the game (as well as having pure fun in DCS World). Motion is something I've wanted to add for decades. 😂 Really appreciate your videos, as well as Barry's at the SRG. I emailed him a few weeks ago. Really nice guy.
@@AeroVeloce Forgot to mention. Although I'm not mounting any monitors to the rig, I will be mounting my cockpit panel made by Stay Level Avionix. It's shaped like a real airplane panel with instrumentation. Not sure how much it weighs, but it's not light. Probably on par with the weight of your triples, so I'm glad to see that the rig can handle it.
Rig looks awesome bud. Great work on filming the process of build the Ultimate Garage Build. Don't want to disappoint you but you will be tweaking this from now to the end of life :) Look forward to get racing with you again once you are done. Keep up the awesome content and look forward to future videos.
Really nice setup. I went for a 6dof with VR.. specifically for flight sim. I already have a 3dof for racing. The 6dof is in the mail...will make a building of too. ❤
Incredible! What a masterpiece! Should I ever be in your area, I need to come by and try this rig haha jks. By the way, I totally get the cable management struggle. I'm currently working on tidying mine up too. For some reason, even the cables hidden behind the rig matter to me. I'm sure you get it! Hope you're doing great and having a blast with this awesome setup. Catch up soon!
It's nice to see things are coming along bro. 🤠🙏🏻👊🏻 It's looking more and more like I am going to be using the same monitors as you with either a modified TrakRacer triple integrated mount, or your Aero Veloce Signature Triple Monitor Mount. Do you have a parts list over on your Discord? If I do use your mount, I will be sure to share with my viewers that it's your design.
Very strange that you struggle so much with the TensionR. I’ve used mine for over a year, with the v1 and now v2 pcb board (V1 died, probably have the same as you now), and always ran through a powered 16 port hub, no issues. 13900k/Z790. And i do love it, it really feels wierd when i forget to turn it on sometimes.
I have a DIY harness tensioner and would not be without it (DC motors - very quite :-)). You could try moving it to its own USB port, replace the cable, or even fit a PCI card with extra controllers on it (I have one that has 4), as peripheral UARTS can often be very fussy.
Can I ask exactly what is happening? Does it just not want to connect to the srs software sometimes? (this is what happened to me) or does it connect and then drop mid race or something. I ask becasue I also recently added the same belt system. I had issues at first but found a way to make it work on my system.@@AeroVeloce
Nice set up!! What wind sim are u using? I have a wind sim and it’s quite underwhelming, but I think it’s down to my particular brand I bought, thinking of tryin a different one ?
@@SURG3NT I run it at default settings and it’s pretty good for me. It can run really fast but it gets loud so that’s a trade off if you want to run it at max speed.
Hi. I am trying to purchase this same racing rig but my emails to the company have not been returned. Could you give me information on how you to purchase this rig? Thank you
It does get scratched up but I don’t really care cause there’s just no way to avoid it when I needed to test so many different configurations. Perhaps I’ll powder coat all the profile the next time I have to take it apart.
Fire amazing rig. Keep up the great Content you are much needed in simulation, Racing community.
I second that🎉
Oh the adjusting adjusting adjusting such a pain in the ass it was giving me anxiety haha .. but you have a badass rig bro and great reviews

oh it never ends my friend :D
100$ stabilizator for your phone will take your content on a next level
Nice work. Race@home have squashed this design in the LowSlider and added 250 twin tl to the spec but your video is great
You could get a fabrication shop to drill and tap two new holes on the sides of the simcore DD mount to be able to move the side bars down.

The GBelt from SimXperience is an awesome option for a tensioner. In case you get really sick of the TensionR
I have a friend that swears by the gbelt. I’ve heard a lot of good things about it.
What an amazing rig! Congrats! May i ask what you did with the streamdeck that allows to change from desk to sim? Thanks.
Display magician with hot keys. I’ll show it more in a future video.
What a nice rig just purchased three of these monitors myself how much degrees do you have on your side monitors
Love the vids keep up the good work
Thanks! 70 degrees
Cheers for replying 👍

I can organize a part list for the mount. If you watch my original triple monitor mount video you’ll see what I used in the mean time.
How did you put the cables together when the cable length of the monitor is different?

Well that’s good to hear it works properly for you. That gives me hope to getting mine to work lol. It is really cool when it does work.

Awsome rig man I am very impressed that you got it to work 👏 The Streamdeck shortcut you showed what is it doing to swap from desk to rig?

oh ok, I tried DisplayMagician a year ago but I did not get it to work with Nvidia surround. But it looks like it works now thanks :) @@AeroVeloce
Did you know you can move the windows task bar to the top left or right side.
I would go insane taking that thing apart so many times. Why did you move it to the front of garage?
I think I lost my sanity a while ago lol. It’s the most effective use of the space.
Nice simrig man ! Damn being rich is so nice 😎
Thanks! You don’t need to be rich, just really irresponsible 😂
@@AeroVeloce Yeah 😅 little by little adding things to simrig and at the end total price = 😲🤑

Hi. Do you think the 4080 will be ok to run all 3 tvs. Same tvs as yours?
You can. Just have to dial in your settings for best performance.
Thank you. 🙏 awesome rig.
Moooola! 😎
This is the sparco GP?

If you’re in the US, try Sector X Simulations
isn't it a shame to move it around so much. The profiles get scratched, even on the new rig?
