Regarding the Oktane logo on the lever... I went back and forth with this, and ultimately chose to leave the logo off purely out of respect for Heusinkveld. I didn't want to potentially give the false impression that I designed the entire handbrake, especially since the aesthetics are similar to my sequential. Regarding price point, the only other drop-in lever assembly for the HE handbrake is the O-ROUGE carbon kit. At 199 Euros PLUS shipping, I feel like the current price (free shipping within the USA) is a bargain for anyone looking to customize their handbrake, and it also accepts any knob with an M10-1.5 thread (no need to keep the plastic thread adapter in that case). Also keep in mind that many aftermarket weighted knobs alone cost anywhere between $50 and $100. As you said, niche market. And thanks for supporting the little guys.
I like it! Oktane Designs makes great stuff! Watching you drift makes me tempted to reinstall a handbrake on my setup now, haha! The studio/garage is really taking shape and looks great. Plus, the view from the rig is amazing!
any chance to mod the magshift from Heusinkveld ? the original handle plastic is so awfull...dont know why for the price they don't put soft rubber, a shame for Heusinkveld
If you're referring to the thread adapter, it is plastic. However, you can always thread on any knob with an M10-1.5 pitch thread directly to the bolt.
@@AeroVeloce i just ordered their new magshift sequential shifter and about to go pickup the handbrake from microcenter.. was about to go the budget route , but I’ve made that mistake before .. fuck. It lol
