Ally Financial Screwed Us Over
We are sharing this video because we want to help you protect yourself. This video explains how Ally Financial screwed my daughter Kitana over when she sold her leased vehicle to Carmax.
I’ve always been told to read a contract thoroughly before signing anything, but like most people, we didn’t read six pages of size twelve font and it cost my daughter over $5,000.00
If you are leasing a vehicle I would be very careful who you choose to finance it. Look for this clause and don’t sign the lease if it contains a clause like this.
The two websites I found with people reporting Ally Financial are
www.ripoffreport.com
and
www.complaintsboard.com
Buyer Beware -
We hope that this short video helps you to make the right decision for you and your family. You may not plan on terminating your lease early, but if you need to, or just decide to, this clause could hurt you.
Please drop a comment below and let us know if you had a similar experience or have additional knowledge on how this finance company or any other finance company put the screws to you!

UNUSUAL DRYWALL REPAIR and how to overcome oddities
มุมมอง 2462 ปีที่แล้ว
A long time customer from Willingboro, New Jersey reached out because she needed drywall repair to restore an area where a plumber had to cut open the wall behind her toilet in order to access the plumbing cleanout. In hopes to not spend money repairing the wall more than once she wanted an access panel installed. You might initially think this is a very standard procedure, but as you will see ...

Wood Rot Repair Made Easy - Don’t replace what you can repair Bob shows you how to easily repair wood that has been damaged by moisture. A lot of home owners are inclined to hire someone to replace rotted wood that’s either part of their door jambs, window trim, garage doors, the roof over their porches and overhangs and many other locations around the home. Bob wants you to know that you can p...
BATHROOM REFRESH IN LEVITTOWN PA
มุมมอง 2272 ปีที่แล้ว
Bob and Kitana were at it again, this time back in good ole Levittown, PA where we did a bathroom refresh. This refresh included new tile floor, new vanity and a new toilet. This job took two days to accomplish, mainly because of the nature of tile and grout. These clients are top notch people who are friendly, accommodating, understanding and just overall really naturally friendly; these are a...
WE FINALLY GOT WHAT WE NEEDED ...
มุมมอง 1372 ปีที่แล้ว
Bob and Kitana returned to the Yardley porch rehab on November 2nd, 2021; we were right on track until Home Depot came in and messed everything up with their inability to deliver product at a time and date we agreed upon. This is episode 2 in this mini-series where Bob and Kitana put up the final touches of the soffit material. It’s not a real educational video, but it ties in to show the final...
PORCH MAKEOVER THAT ALMOST DIDN'T HAPPEN
มุมมอง 4152 ปีที่แล้ว
Bob and Kitana were hired to build new steps, replace old rotted wooden posts and railings with vinyl wrapped posts and all vinyl railings. I won’t say this is a homeowner DIY friendly job right out of the gate, but with the help of Home Depot you are almost guaranteed to fail. We outline the poor customer service we have come to expect from the Home Depot, its delivery department and the assoc...

STOP YOUR SHOWER FROM DRIPPING
มุมมอง 882 ปีที่แล้ว
We have a customer who resides in South Philadelphia who has had us perform several home improvement tasks for them with this being just one of the jobs. A lot of people are immediately overwhelmed by the task of stopping their sink or shower from dripping because they are afraid of everything “plumbing”, but the repair is actually quite simple in most cases. This short ten-minute video is an i...
THE CORRECT WAY TO INSTALL PORCH POSTS
มุมมอง 45K2 ปีที่แล้ว
I've seen more than my fair share of carpenters, handymen, home improvement contractors, homeowners and the like that have either installed or replaced porch posts, and have done it incorrectly. When strong winds come into play and the bottom of a post isn't attached to the decking, the post base can move and when the wind rests the roofing back down, the support is no longer there and severe d...
ONE DAY LAUNDRY ROOM REMODEL
มุมมอง 1842 ปีที่แล้ว
Bob and Kitana were contracted to perform a partial laundry room remodel. The client had some drywall repair that needed to be completed, followed by painting and installing a new vinyl laminate floor. One of the troubles we ran into was the patch on the concrete floor. The cement work was not done properly by whoever rerouted the plumbing for the washing machine and so we had to overcome that,...
DID THEY PAY TO FIX THAT
มุมมอง 1412 ปีที่แล้ว
One might be curious why someone would pay for a ceiling drywall repair that is so small and barely noticeable, but not all damaged drywall is what it seems. This drywall is actually quite damaged below the surface, but an untrained eye likely can’t see it. This beautiful home is located in Titusville, New Jersey and situated on a nice piece of wooden property. It boasts beautiful sitting areas...
How to REPAIR THAT LARGE AC HOLE so nobody knows it was ever there
มุมมอง 33K2 ปีที่แล้ว
This is part two where we close in the large hole left by the removal of the heavy 15,000 btu air-conditioner as shown in last weeks video. Closing in a hole is a lot easier than most people may think and with just a few simple tools you should be able to perform this job yourself. We did use power tools to perform this job, but they are not necessary however, they do speed things up quite a bi...
How to SAFELY REMOVE A HEAVY AC UNIT from the wall
มุมมอง 30K2 ปีที่แล้ว
We were hired to remove a through-the-wall AC unit, otherwise known as a wall mounted AC unit and then to close in the hole so that it looked like it never existed. This is a heavy 15,000 btu air-conditioner that is not only installed high on the wall, over our heads, but it is also over a set of steps and a tile floor, both of which complicate the mission. Bob came up with a solution to this a...

SECRET TIP on adding a gutter downspout neatly and easily and without jagged edges
Thanks for the video. I laughed watching you struggle with that darn Agitater seemed very Agitating I decided pretty much right away that im going to take nut off and then put cleaner in the washer and run it to my surprise it just Agitated darn near right off. I love thinking out of the box figured that cant be the only way. there's got to be a betterman way unofficial motto. lol great video sorry for lose thanks for help.
I boot bay I’m not happy with them ,frat time good ven you use again don’twork
I don’t see anything wrong here? It’s you that is the problem
A little more finesse on that siding there big guy
I'm preparing to change out 8 basement windows in a duplex I own and have watched many videos on the subject. This is one of the best of not the best video of them all. Very thorough, very professional, very well done, Sir! Thanks to you and your helper.
So you're able to screw into cement?
What product did you get to trim the post base? Could you include dimensions and any important installation tips, please? Thank you for the video! Hoping to do this Saturday with my dad and husband.
I just wanted to say thank you Bob and let you know that i used two cords one on each side and the agitator popped right off !! 7:36
I just wanted to say thank you Bob and let you know that i used two cords one on each side and the agitator popped right off !!
I just wanted to add that I used two cords 1 on each side and the removal was easier and popped right off.
Wow. My bottom plate refuses to come off. I’ve been using some heavy gage wire and I’m lifting the entire machine up. I’m even wrapping the wire around a metal bar for leverage. I’m sitting on top of the machine to hold it down. I’m 6’2” and 220. I can’t budge this mofo. I’ve tried hammering it to loosen it and nothing. I’ve wrestled with this thing for 20 mins 2 times now. What else have people done??
The post should have been, a way bigger, to fit the house size.
Weird. Watching this is 2024, and the temperatures are about the same. Great video! Thanks for posting! Update: I'm at the part where your daughter is changing the other one. Superb video, really. Props on being a good dad, too. God bless you, man! 👍🏻
Thanks for making this. I’m having a similar issue, but I’m unable to get the bolt loose it just seems to keep spinning even when I hold the drum in place any ideas?
And I’m very sorry for your loss.
Roof window was wrong
It's called a DROP ear, not a dog ear elbow.
Part of the installation is cleaning your dirty fingerprints off the siding. I hope you cleaned them off.
I think I would have used nail l glue on the concrete blocks
Long bungie cords help hold it together..
clean gutters 200 dollars
Nice video Bob. There were many tips I liked. *BUT* I noticed the balusters on the stairs don't line up. Right side vs left side. In other words the highest baluster on the right side starts at about 2-1/2" from the center post. On the left side it starts about 1-1/2" from the center base post. I couldn't walk away from a job like that.
14:13 The siding was cut correctly around the original vent, your replacement doesn’t fit the siding. Your caulk might fill the gaps, but it looks like 💩
Very nice job. I have TWO I need done!!!! I don't even know who I can call and the cost so I've been putting it off.
Great
Can you tell me how would you waterproof a door like this? I wooden door
I just so happened to have some exact sizes of unused flanges and nipples! Thanks!
We have an unfinished portico. Going on a year dealing with the town. Can you tell me the placement of hurricane straps?
Underrated video. Thank you much, sir! I'm changing the brakes (and the fluid) when I change the oil pretty soon! (4 wheel drive car... not a front wheel drive).
Why are you skipping many important steps?????
Bob gave clear, detailed explanations and provided the necessary information to complete our repair. Thank you, Bob!
3k where. I got quoted 8k :(
Suggestion, drop the level of music down or get rid of it. It's hard to hear you.
Incredible!
Terrorist attack? You mean false flag attack.
Out in the open no problem Behind a wall or in a wall that’s closed I would not use them
Some corrections I would suggest: 1. You could use the old brake pads as a uniform surface for the clamps instead of going into the piston chamber and that would have pressed both pistons evenly and less likely to cause damage to the caliper/pistons 2. grease all contact points so there is less vibration or brake noise 3. use a rubber mallet not a metal one when hitting against one of the most important parts of your car, the thing that stops it!!
This was VERY helpful! Thank you!
dang it what razer knife is that? I cant find one that looks like it. Was trying to find a razer that is a bit longer than the normal ones so it would go in a little further.. but not require me to man handle the razer blade directly. That looks good but cant find it.
shut up oh it slipped down
I have yet to ever find a concrete screw that ACTUALLY WORKS.
I know what you mean. Have you ever tried using concrete anchor? Drill a hole as usual (you can actually drill deeper than the anchor itself since this is not a screw) pound the anchor in with a hammer and then this being an anchor it has a bolt on top that you tighten and the anchor expands preventing itself from being lose.
@@keytothegate68 Yep. Only ones I actually use. Dang near can hold a car engine they are that strong of a hold. Tapcons NEVER worked for me. They ALWAYS are a sloppy fit and get loose. When I used those before I had to insert some wood in the hole just to get it to tighten properly. Yes I used the correct drill bit too.
Why are you using your level as a hammer?
Another helpful tip for putting the hub cap back on: do this before putting your lug nuts back on. On a some vehicles, the lug nut is designed to help hold the center of the cap on. I can say from experience than the nuts are enough to hold the cap on if the retention ring is missing or broken.
Typical a laminate countertop is set on top of 3/4 inch filler strips. That way drawers open and you don’t cut the front of the countertop down.
Thanks for the informative video. One suggestion: lose the blaring music. It doesn't add to the content.
Why didn’t you put glue on that top paver then the rebar, it will make it a lot stronger. Just my opinion.
Looks better but the pattern in the tile is screwed up. I would be disappointed with that job.
Ally is such a scam ! I finance a car March 19,2024 my first payment was May 3rd I paid it two day early my monthly car note was $493 I was charge $454 for finance charges & only $39 went tours my principal. They said I was not only paying interest for may but I was paying for march & April as well . Then they said if I wanted to make another payment this same month everything will go straight to my principal & I won’t pay finance charges for this second payment so I decided to pay an extra $100 & they took another $30 of finance !!! This by far the worse experience . My advice to anyone reading this please save your money & buy it in cash . It may take longer but it’ll all be worth it because you’ll just be paying insurance & gas . I wish I would of did a lil bit of more research honestly I wouldn’t of been so mad if the finance charges wasn’t so high !!! Because they did let me borrow the money but that’s basically 80% of what I paid . I’m thinking about refinancing in 6 months any advice anyone ?
Thank you! I’ve watched so many videos trying to figure out how to mount the post base
They fixed mine like 3 mos ago and it fell again like 30 mins ago. However they didn’t put those braces like you did.
Thank you so much for your video. I was so excited to be able to fix this issue only to find out that the spring replacement is discontinued!! 😢 It is definitely not lost in the filter of my dishwasher, it just disappeared somehow. So it looks like what it would have been a $3 fix now is going to cost me $100-$200 because im guessing I'll have to change the entire soap dispenser box ☹.
