PORCH REFURBISHING in Historic Bristol Borough

Bristol Borough is widely known for it's history during the revolutionary war times, the impromptu speech by then President elect Abraham Lincoln who stepped off the back of a train while in route to Washington for his inauguration and for their participation in the Pennsylvania canal system.
One of the conditions of sale with this home was the decking on the front porch had to be changed prior to vacating. We changed this decking out the day before the home owner was leaving, fulfilling both their obligation and ours at the same time.
We worked on this deck several years ago because one of the posts were rotted out and needed repair. At the time, the homeowner didn't want the entire post changed out, but instead, just a simple repair. The same stands true today in that the posts although shows signs of cracked paint and visually unsightly, stand strong and will remain as they are not part of the job we were hired to perform.
