Why is this light in color? It gets any lighter

I just drank some from 1970s still so smooth i cant believe after not tasting it for 20 yrs its still great it even has prohibition sticker on it . Cant believe i didn't dig it back then. But if i hadn't it wouldn't have been here tonight. Unfortunately this bottle won't make it the night.

When I first tasted Glenfiddich 18 It was winter and I said this whiskey tastes like spring, whenever you drink it, spring comes to you.

I found just a basic crem Brule is so unbelievable to match with this but I well diffently try the pistachio ice cream now.

Got this on sale for $20 in the US, honestly a great introduction to a peated scotch, very drinkable neat. This is my second Glen Moray bottle, and I will definitely be seeking out more

I had quite a few bottles of this very special whisky as the local stores were clearing it out for about $100. Today any 30 year old whisky would cost many times that amount and unlikely I will afford one again.

My first peated whisky. I hates it at first, thinking it tasted of burnt rubber. Now I LOVE peat.

Thought the wines casks were from Portugal, since “vinho” is Portuguese word for wine.

Tried it and not impressed. There are lots of others that are much better for my taste than this. Quite unbalanced, doesn't feel like a 10yr old, more like 3yr old and too peppery and spicey on the finish. Could be ok for mixing to spice up some cocktails with pepper and slight peat.

I’m totally new to Gin I bought this bottle of Botanist because it was recommended by the store’s clerk I must say I didn’t like it I’ve tried mixing it with tonic Campari Vermouth grapefruit juice still didn’t like it Now there’s only one thing that even less undesirable to me and that is licorice I’ve only had it once over 40 years ago in Amsterdam and it still hunts me Are this people for real?🤔

Nice review chap. More or less matches my own tasting notes. Worth also trying with with a fish dish and milder blue cheese. At the moment in the UK, one can get a bottle for about £40 on special offer. Have you tried the Tomintoul 14….. excellent underrated malt.
