The pairing on this sounded so good. Thanks for sharing. I enjoy this bottle a little too much for the price, but is just sings for me. Thanks for sharing. Great honey and cinnamon.
Made with a blend of 5 different barley malts, the whiskey is currently aged a minimum of 3 years - although it’s worth noting that all of that new American oak doesn’t take long to mature malt whiskey, so it can’t be compared directly to the maturation length of single malts from Scotland. The whiskey is blended in batches using those various casks and filled at 46% ABV without chill-filtration or added coloring.
lorenz yacoubian great info, thanks Lorenz! We read about the 5 different types of barley used - very interesting. Cheers 😊🥃!
It's a beautiful single malt, as a yankee, there are no tariffs. As a catagory of American single malt, Westland is one of the best, with nuances and complexity. Perhaps a bit more aging would help.
I am seeing a very wide variety of malts to try here, as we continue the journey. There's more than Scotch and bourbon. Cheers.
Jack The Pickled Hound and a most wonderful journey it is. Thanks for watching! Cheers 😊🥃!
Enjoyed the review 👍 This is the second one I've seen of this whiskey in the last couple of days. I'm pretty sure the Americans are not allowed to add colouring to their whiskeys/bourbons. This is around £65 - £70 UKP here 😲
Nick DV thanks for the info! Thanks for watching! Cheers 😊🥃!
