THIS WHISKY
NAS Single malt from the Glenfiddich distillery
Experimental series #2 - 20 whisky experts from 16 countries each chose a cask and these were then married/vatted and bottled to create this whisky
Matured in different casks
ABV 47%
Non Chill filtered
COLOUR
Deep Burnished Gold
NOSE
Complex, fruity, apricots, orchard blossoms, fruity cereal, dark honey, vanilla, brown sugar, oak shavings, caramel
DROP IN THE PALM - Rich fruity brown bread
TASTE
Rich, toasted cereal with cinnamon dust, butterscotch sauce, chocolate covered raisins, crisp tannin, sweet candy floss
FINISH
Lingering, sweet oak initially then spicy oak
EMPTY GLASS - Sweet malt and fruity wine gums
WITH WATER:
Nose: sweet rich dark fruity dessert, fruit candy and brown sugar
Taste: creamy, sweet cooked fruit in vanilla custard dusted with cinnamon, more pepper in the finish
A DROP OF WATER IS IMPORTANT
COMMENT: delicious but pricy for a no age statement bottle
