Are You Confused About Roguelikes and Roguelites? Here's the Real Difference!
Spaghetti with a nice Bolognese sauce is my fave. Simple dish but it's just great food for the soul. And it goes great with cheese so it's just the apple of my eye.
Oh that sounds so good I would love some of that!
Played it during its EA and after the release. It is a great game.
It’s super good! Love the game a lot
seems like a cute game, def adding to wishlist -w-b
It’s so fun it’s been my time passing game since I first played it on stream
Kinda reminds me of my time playing shop keep 2. Different genres entirely, but similar gameplay loops.
It’s kinda like that! I never played the shop keep games but I know what they are sorta like!
So, its like "Dungeon Meshi - the roguelike game" with a twist of Moonlight? Looks cool.
Haha that’s one way to say it but hey it’s super fun
I’m a simpleton. My favorite food is just cheese and onion enchiladas with red sauce. Nothing fancy.
Hey nothing wrong with the simple things cheese and onion enchiladas are still super good. Mine is probably spaghetti/alfredo or sushi
@ oh those are yummy too. Any specific kind of sushi? I really liked avocado and cream cheese sushi.
If I had to choose sushi probably would be salmon, cream cheese and avocado. If it was nigiri I would have to go will fatty tuna. That stuff is amazing
@ at first, I read “nigiri” as “night” and was like “I didn’t know time of day could change taste buds so dramatically.” lol
@@Waffletigercat Lol nah its just depends if we are doing rolls or not
Aw. The wolf blacksmith being too big to fit in screen and having to crouch to respond to you is a very cute touch.
It’s super super cute!
another great video! it was fun to see you stream this.
I’m glad! Thank you! I hope to see you stop by again tomorrow! (Assuming I don’t succumb to this sickness I have currently)
YOU ARE AWESOME! ❤❤❤ Also, I finally got to Hades in Hades and am excited to try Hades 2 and Windblown! I still have to win a full playthrough of Dead Cells to get to whatever happens after you win for the first time!
Thank you! Congrats! I have yet to try hades 2 I wanted it to go a bit through early access before diving in but I’m super excited for it! Good luck on Dead Cells as well! You got this!
@@roguelikerabbit Thank you! I am inspired!!!
Looks interesting, but the cooking an restaurant parts are not my thing. On another note Rabbit, I would like to point you towards Shape of Dreams, an upcoming roguelite with MOBA control scheme that is incredible fun. Worth to at least keep an eye on it.
Fair enough it’s not everyone’s cup of tea. But I’ll take a look at Shape of Dreams!
If you want to play a more classic roguelike game, Caves of Qud is getting it's 1.0 release on December 5th. It has a massive amount of build variety and replay value. You can make your character pretty crazy by the endgame, but the game makes you put in lots of work to get yourself to that point. It's also pretty easy to get into, with a tutorial that teaches you the basics and a difficulty setting that lets you reload from the last town you visited when you die, instead of erasing your character. It used to have a really clunky UI, but that's been vastly improved.
Sounds interesting definitely something I’ll check out! Thanks for letting me know!
For a meal, black pomfret cooked with oyster sauce and chopped chillies, hands down. -fry feesh til crispy -set aside fish, drizzle lime on both sides of it. -toss in chopped chili into oil used to fry feesh, fry those til colour changes at least, more if want more spice. -put in enough oyster sauce onto the chili to cover the feesh but not too much cause you'll have to dilute it w water a bit -add more lime into the sauce while cooking it, my bro squeezes in 2 -after a while, pour onto feesh and done. Eat with rice preferably. Extra sauce can be eaten w bread but I usually lick em all clean so no extras 😂
Oh that sounds so good I need to find some of that
@roguelikerabbit it's actually a dish my mom would make ever since I could remember. The closest I've ever seen any shop make it is with soy sauce instead and with no lime garnish.
Dang well nothing can truly best a dish made by a mom
@@roguelikerabbit true but there's no harm in trying to make it yourself if you want! You don't know how the original tastes so you could just manufacture it to suit your taste if you so choose. I don't cook but I'll ask my bro for the recipe.
@@HazeEmry That's true! I will have to try it when I can
Ah the bane of every character in every game - TAXES... Except of course, Turnip Boy. Speaking of, have you played either of Turnip Boy's games? The 1st is an RPG but the 2nd is a roguelite. The titles are Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion and Turnip Boy Robs A Bank respectively. The 2nd game references the 1st via world building/quests
I know I've said that nowadays I look for gameplay and lore a lot more but Alder's got me acting up damn. I'm weak for strong, chill dudes. Tall to complement my own height, bending down to look at our protag at eye level shows he's mindful of others... I've seen 2 FRAMES of this guy and I'm in love.
Those sound funny as heck I’ll have to give them a try! But I haven’t played either of them sadly. Also taxes suck!
6:47 if a game is chill enough, it won't feel like a chore to repeatedly do the same things. In this case, going back instead of finishing the run still seems to be furthering your progress so it doesn't feel as bad
@@roguelikerabbit the first game is just about 2 - 3 hours, if you can, you should def play it
It’s true you are always progressing!
This is some Darkest Dungeon level of inheritance LMAO... But my favourite food has to be some good old Goulash soup made by babushka😌. All jokes aside, any food that reminds me of home is my favourite, so I cook my family's recipes quite often.
Mmm goulash soup sounds wonderful. My favorite is either a good pasta. Spaghetti or a good Alfredo. Otherwise I would say sushi because it’s so good
@ I’ve been making Chicken Alfredo more recently as well… it’s so simple and super nice!! And I couldn’t resist adding some broccoli to it. Reminds me of my dad, he puts broccoli on everything 😭
That’s fair but adding broccoli is super good I used to make Alfredo with broccoli quite a bit!
Rogue!, your father just so happens to owe me 10 gazillion! It is now YOUR job to pay me back. sure do love video game logic. Do you think scammers in the video game world just run up to people and tell them that some distant unknown relative owes them money regularly.
Oh for sure and sadly the kind hearted protagonist always falls for it
through all the video all i could see is this avatar covering more than half of screen and randomly putted "memes" .. in depth review my ass
I’m sorry you feel that way.
The parents were probably professional tax evaders and manipulators 1:06
Honestly I’m beginning to debate how good parents they were but hey we have a restaurant now I guess
cobalt-60 is coming to you ;) (I have no idea what that means, I just wanted to join the fun)
Ive been pretty excited for this game, Im just waiting for it to get out of early access before I jump into it.
That’s super fair but for where it is now it’s in a super good spot!
YOU ARE AWESOME! ❤❤❤
Aww thank you!
Game so good an elaborate bit had to made tells me it was already worth my time but then the good score and the dev team having some bangers made it clear buy
Listen I went with what the heart told me
0:23 "gunplay" - **shows a bow** HMMMMMM /j
Listen
Had some fun with this game but felt like it got really repetitive towards teh end
I can understand that!
Dang, just missed you!
Sorry! I hope to see you next time!
I missed the live :(
Maybe next time!! I would love to see you there!
@roguelikerabbit Hopefully
I feel like just because theyre an isometric action roguelikes doesnt make it a rival to hades. It lacks a lot of that high quality story, dialogues, characters with a personality
This is fair. Like I said in the video I was making the comparison mainly because some of the gameplay and movement reminded me of it and I made the comparison more for the fun of it rather than actually critical as it's not really a fair comparison in the first place
i remember playing the demo and getting disenchanted pretty quickly. The minions are all super agressive and didnt get stunlocked, meaning that even when there was an opportunity to drop a combo, I would get hit. "Get good", I hear you say. So then I picked up a throwing knife from my first weapon drop and managed to wail on the final demo boss. It didnt have the same "click" i had with dead cells
This is fair there is def some balancing and range is very much a super strong strategy I hope they change it to make melee more viable. But I still think the gameplay is very fun due to the alter attacks
