Hello and welcome to the home of 90's games that we loved to play, but may have long since been forgotten over time and editions. The games that I cover in my channel are my hobby passion and I hope that comes across in my content. My plan is simple. To play the games that I love from the 90's and to cover them in the best presentation I can possible for your enjoyment in this nostalgic trip of our teenage years as we all discovered miniatures and table top games.
Nothing can understate how influential Games Workshop were in bringing miniature painting and table top wargaming to a greater audience creating new hobbiests all around the world.

Lovely stuff, what can I say mate this is exactly what I always imagined a live action WD batrep would be like 👌
Wasn't one of those Nurgle Deathgalleys sunk by the Wolfships at 48:00 supposed to have warty scales that reinforced the hull? I don't think it should have taken the critical hit.
Warhammers golden age...I remember it like it was 1993 and I finally got the box set
As a high elf player I always liked this scenario, though I suppose I should feel bad that it was constructed in a way that the goblins had literally zero chance of winning
Reading through the rules. Question - Skaven Assassin - I’m trying to decipher his gameplay mechanics . is it simply just his initial placement? Do you get to place him in the corridor outside the room ?? Some of the rules are not really explained very well. summer a bit vague,

@@LaMOi1 yeah I don’t see why not. You could even use a dice app on your smart phone. I’d just order some cheap D12s from EBay. That’s what did.
2d6 gives you a very different spread of outcomes than a d12. E.g. A 7 comes up in a d12 1/12th of the time, but comes up on 2d6 1/6th of the time.

I recently got the rules printed. I am borrowing a lot from the gameplay. But built my own board, and I’m using a modular dungeon set. Which I’m kind of invested the line actually. I might at some point get those modular tiles that you can get from eBay. To properly re-create the game. I am really excited to kinda play the game properly.

I startetd with the blue high elves book and I am glad to see all the wonderful old miniatures. Reading the scenarios I often thought that the high elves have no chance mostly relying on very bad troops compared to the dark elves. One hydra can win the game well... if you dont roll to high! And the hatred rul eist very hard against high elves. It wa sthe 5th or 6th edition? Thanks a lot

@@Dr.Marmalade great question and yes of course. I had then in the building until I realized that only 20 infantry can occupy a building in WHR so in the final couple of turns I had them march around the side. Thanks for the question and comment

@@Dr.Marmalade yes it was to capture the village so a scoring unit in the buildings or within 4” of them contest it by the last turn of the game.
Awesome collection and fantastic paintjob 👍🏻I once had big collection of those old skaven minis, but in one of my weak moments I sold almost all of them. Decision I regret to this day.
@@nilesmcvile thanks for watching mate and yeah we all have to make sacrifices with our hobby sometimes and I have had quite a few of those in the past and more to make in the future. But then again, there are plenty more ratmen in second hand sales groups

Awesome Batrep for the game, Man Teclis has always been a OP models for shutting down magic in the game. This brings back a lot of memories of playing games back in the 90's with my Undead or Chaos armies. Watched the game while working on more Greenskins 😁😁 Have a great day
