For people who are new to the hobby, armies like those, painted in top top level ,made us all fall in love with the game 25 years ago. Those are pieces of art, and if they were mine they would be showcased in the middle of my living room ..

Thanks for the wonderful comment and I too wish you can experience the joys of the old games but you can with Warhammer Renaissance. You just need the figures and someone to play with. But I realize that is a massive commitment. Best of luck with it though
Have never played old editions of my favorite fantasy battles, but read plenty of old classic battle reports in White Dwarf. Your videos are true time travel. Models, narrative and presentation are superior. Just like it is 90s again, and we all watch the old good Warhammer FB on TV

This video brought back so many good memories of my friends and I spending whole weekends playing battles on his kitchen table. I'm a fan of modern GW but this was the best time to be in the hobby IMO. Instantly subscribed.

Awesome Batrep for the game, Man Teclis has always been a OP models for shutting down magic in the game. This brings back a lot of memories of playing games back in the 90's with my Undead or Chaos armies. Watched the game while working on more Greenskins 😁😁

I spit at Teclis my mortal enemy. From the days of 4th edition he was the thorn in my Ikit Claws side - never killed him but magic always ended up in stalemate, putting a spanner into my plans.

Awesome armies. Can i ask why the Bigunz spent 4 turns staring at a building and achieving nothing?
@@Dr.Marmalade great question and yes of course. I had then in the building until I realized that only 20 infantry can occupy a building in WHR so in the final couple of turns I had them march around the side. Thanks for the question and comment

@@Dr.Marmalade yes it was to capture the village so a scoring unit in the buildings or within 4” of them contest it by the last turn of the game.

How did the Giant turn around and march off the table in the first turn? Can you march and still do maneuvers in Renaissance?
individual models can. Regiments can't
Yeah I think we may have got the measurement wrong on the first turn. But not sure now. Anyway it was good for the purposes of the video and story in the end. Cheers Dave

@@1stephanesteph thank you for your honest feedback but I can’t see the format changing anytime soon tbh. Sorry about that, but at the same time there are plenty of TH-cam presenters that film in the style that you prefer.
