Thanks for your continued support and positive feedback guys.
Looks great. I'm fortunate to have this model in my Orc army. I just love the old Marauder miniatures. They have a ton of character and a nice thickness and weight to them. Cheers sir.
Nice to know you have a jolly giant in your collection. Getting soused on the beer no doubt
I love these classic minis. Nothing hits quite like them.
Yes me too. Nothing can replace the simplicity and character of these little guys.
looks great. I can't help but feel he ate a whole unit of Brettonian knights :D
hahah I posted this right before you started painting the fleur de lyse!
Haha thanks my friend and yes I’m sure a few Brets are digesting now
A lovely model. Your paintjob really did it justice.
Thanks for watching and I really enjoyed painting him
I think this is still my all time favourite Warhammer mini, I love everything about it! Great work on the paint job, you really did this amazing sculpt justice! One day I hope to get one of my own! 😊
Great to hear from you Alex and I hope you have a great Christmas and all the best for the new year mate
@@thecrownofcommand5830 cheers mate all the best for the new year too, and hopefully you get to have a nice relaxing Christmas!
Fantastic work on the giant, I always wanted to get one for my Orc army.
Thanks mate and I hope your back is getting better. Take care and pray to Gork to bless you with a Marauder Giant this Christmas
@thecrownofcommand5830 Thanks, it's better after the shot last Thursday. Probably will be easier to print one out 🤣
Really awesome paint job on a great miniature!
Thank you and I hope you both drink some good quality German beers and play some 40K second edition this holiday
Very excited for the Made to Order. This is the model that got me in to Warhammer!
Awesome mate and I hope you saved up your pennys as I’m sure this beast will cost you a few organs lol
Looks good. Good enough for a fight.
Just beautiful work. I hope to paint my one next year.
Thank you and I hope you can make that a hobby goal for next year
Nicely done. I'm working on the model at the moment and want to finish it till end of the year.
Awesome and enjoy painting this big lad
Awesome job!
He seems to be missing his shield and dagger/sword.
I printed my giant. You wouldn't know. 🤫
Thanks and yes sadly it is missing its little buckler shield and sword accessory. Printed Giant would be nice but doesn’t have heft?
Excellent paintjob! I've got one in my collection which I bought in the 90s for around 3£ (crazy how much it costs on ebay now ;) ). I began painting it back in the day, but stripped it again. Might paint it next year, if I can decide on a paint scheme. Kinda want to create my own paint scheme but with the same feel to it as box art paint job.
Wow! 3 quid. Amazing! Hope you can get around to painting next year and to a color scheme that matches your vision
@@thecrownofcommand5830 Oh whoops, I meant 30£ - but still much cheaper than today ;D
In my day you didn't need to play orcs and goblins to use this.
That giant better beware of them goblins at the end they look mean!
Amazing paint job such a classic mini one day I may get but just to expensive to justify for now
Thanks Matt and I hope you can hire your own mercenary giant one day mate
@@thecrownofcommand5830 Rewatching to get tips for when my made to order one comes!
Great stuff Josh! Yeah, hopefully one day I'll be able to bag me one of these, the last one I saw for sale was 450eur!
450 euro? Wowzers! That’s insane mate lol. Get a recast of one as they are around. That kind of money is just madness. Hope you find one mate at a good price
@@thecrownofcommand5830 Yeah, I'll hold out for some time if I happen to get lucky, otherwise I'll get a high quality recast, I'm not going to pay silly money. There's a sliver of a chance that GW might do these for made to order now with all the hype with the Old World coming up.
Great job!
Thank you
Reason you like freehand is because you are uniquely talented to do it 😂
Amazing paintjob! I loved that giant when I was I young lad :)
Thank you and glad to hear you enjoyed the video. I’m lucky to have bought one in the 90’s. Best investment yet
Amazing!
Thanks and good to hear from you. I hope you are safe and well.
Great work mate! ❤
Thanks mate and I hope your channel gets some more traffic
Yeah iv had a few more subs! Thanks mate. ❤
Awesome work on the Marauder giant. I have a friend that just picked one up so I shared this with him. Out of curiosity when you mention using inks for vibrancy etc is there a certain go to brand you use? The old citadel inks were really potent in my experience and I wasnt sure if there are comprable ones today.
As always a fab paintjob. Out of interest, how long does a piece like that take?
Thanks mate and usually 3-4 days work to completion. You and Jason have a great Christmas at Bring & Battle and thanks for al the great content.
@@thecrownofcommand5830 wow and right back at you mate. Have a good one too
Lovely work. Bit jealous. But its not a miniature. It is maxiture or megature / gigature, no?
any chance you'll be painting 90's dwarfs or wood elves down the line? Great videos by the way!
Thank you and so far I don’t have any orders for Dwarfs or Wood Elves. I would like to paint those armies for someone this year if possible though. Thanks for watching and commenting
@@thecrownofcommand5830 that's a shame. I'm always on the lookout for 90's wood elf model paint tutorials. seems all the guides that come up on google and youtube revolve around the 6th and 8th edition releases. My flavor of wood elves was yellow shirts, gemmed belts, and "hey have you heard of motley crue?" mohawks XD
@@Knightfall8 well you never know what I will be blessed with in terms of commissions down the line mate.
@@thecrownofcommand5830 I will subscribe on the off chance that you get a commission job to make a wood elf chariot conversion 8)
People call it 'overbrushing'
