Technically todays miniatures look better. But these 2nd ed will always look better to me. Love the terrain too, so much better than the modern plastic terrain. The bunkers in particular look amazing.
Dem blood angles look amazing holding off the genestealers and protecting the buildings which look great and the all important alien cactus plants! They must not fall into the tyranids hands (many hands)

Thank you. I used a black airbrush and primed them black. Luftwaffe WW2 Gray as a base. Pale Blue Grey highlight. And Periscopes for the blue green in the shadows. Plus Herman Camo Brown for the shading etc

The second editon onwards spacemarines just look so much more characterful than the primaris. Less is more.

I like the blue and purple ones. Do they take long to paint?
The genestelers? I used Contrast medium to paint them faster and it worked a treat
