I believe all my favorite Slayer Minis still say Marauder on the tabs. A little later than these I think but I can still thank Aly and Colin for my favorites, especially those Dragon and Demon Slayers.
I have a soft spot for Marauder Miniatures, especially the orc and goblin shields. The Marauder dwarves are also fantastic but that’s another rabbit hole I don’t need…
I was always so impressed with the Marauder line. I agree that a lot of their models were better than most of the Citadel miniatures at the time, at least that's my opinion. Still kicking myself for selling my Marauder Dark Elves, but I do still have a lot of other Marauder minis in my collection. Thanks for sharing.
I have the last Orc from old world I still own on my painting desk. He somehow survived the end of the old world and woke up in Ghur. Gorkamorka himself put him there with his Wyvern. But he can remember he was a Shaman … but the winds of magic are quiet. At least his old anger is still there. His rusty weapon hungry for blood. And my job is to put this Marauder Orc Shaman on a 100mm round base so he can join the Waaaaaghs! as a Killaboss on Wyvern (yes there is a warscroll) and he is legal for playing in our local Warhammer store 😊 and no I don’t have any old orcs around and no motivation to start over again.
Thanks for sharing this little treasure. Trish Carden is indeed a legend in her own monster time.
Nice look at the Marauder leaflet. I have some other marauder sculpts in addition to the reikland ogres which are awesome. Cheers

Yes they are classics!

Yeah I do too. Such great models with individual character.
Jaeckel Alone's dwarfs are pure art. I would love to see an interview where he can explain in detail his painting process and ideas.
I will try and make that happen for us. Thanks for watching and commenting

The Marauder Giant is going Made to Order soon, just saw on GW's website! Edit: War Wyvern too!
But how much are they going to charge for it?! I feel £75… But who knows?
