What a video wow 10/10 ❤

I watched this video maybe a few days after it came out, and ever since whenever I try to attempt something hard and say to myself "I can't do that, I can't just wing it, it won't work" - I think of you and this dress and I do it anyway.

I was familiar with the term vaporwave before in the aestheticized way you talked about, which i really liked and is also what made me watch your video, but now i feel i have learned so much not just about the "true" (or rather more true) vaporwave and also how much creative liberty one can have with knitting. I already crochet and I just learned how to knit the basic stitches, I don't even know how to increase/decrease or cast off yet, but just like you, I'm learning as I go and I will take your video as a reminder that there are no rules that can't be bent a little, even in knitting. Thank you for your truly awesome video and beautiful garment, it really is right up my alley and maybe someday, with enough skill, i will make something as fitting to the aesthetic as you have

mirror knitting was the answer for me too, a while back. i dare not try it with more than one colour, but for plain flat stockinette, it became a gamechanger once i got it down. i do continental though, so the process was probably a little different in terms of technique. also, half an hour later, i am editting to say just wow, i love your insight into the whole nostalgia and pink vs yellow thing, and i'm not even a 90s kid but it does resonate with the media from back then that i know from back then. thank you
