As a crocheter transitioning to knitting, I think knit looks better in clothing (with the added bonus of using up less yarn when you wanna splurge on nicer fibers against your body). Crochet is better for almost anything else because I feel like it's too bulky for clothing. Thank you for the experiment showing both methods! :)
12:52 to block curved items, try using a tailors ham! it's a curved surface that you can iron a garments on. it's thick enough that your can stick pins in it.
I know this video is older, but I think as someone who does both that they have there place in different ways. I love crochet pieces for summer but winter pieces more with knitting. Personally I have more fun with crochet so maybe that plays a factor
Girlie you need more ergonomic hook, the amount you crochet and frog and crochet again it's gonna break your hand lol. Love the video and the creation as always, you're hilarious
A Tip: My head started swimming with all of those facts and figures... I'm Texan, I hear slow. I am also slow to speak, but that's wisdom...my brain is always working overtime, so here goes.. My best tip for crocheted cups is to Switch to a Smaller Hook [ or 2 sz smaller] for the last 2 or 3 rows of the upper cup [ I said that because there are a couple of different methods to get that cup done but we just need the upper two sides of the triangle to have smaller stitches to literally cup and help things stay in place]. The string takes care of the bottom. Usually when crochets are in the home stretch or if more than comes in very nice working their tension and their stitch work can become sloppy or loose or too sloppyk whatever you want to call it. And we know that won't keep moving parts in place.
The original folklore cardi was knitted. If you want it to look like the original or like that specific style, you’d have to knit it. A crochet folklore cardi would take up lots more yarn and not look like the original since making the cables would be different

I'm actually quite the opposite, I feel like knitting is better for everything else but prefer to do amigurumis with crochet!

Im obsessed with this series, your channel is so amazing and uniqe, love all your work ❤
I really like making crochet icord. It grows pretty fast for me. (I don't know how to knit icord, though, so there's that.)
I always thought knit was easier because it felt safer, but crochet changed my mind - so much faster!

This makes me want to knit a bikini top pronto! They look great!
such a quality vid
AHAHAH let's frog around
There is a different way to make a crochet cord it doesn't use 3 strands though and its kinda like long tail cast on for knitting.
as a 100% crocheter, crochet is better ! :)
No mstter which option you use you should line your bikini tops for more coverage and security.
I love your videos. ❤
Do you think the folklore cardigan should be crocheted or knitted? Could you consider making a video on it?
