I’m not even a little bit surprised that this was a pain in the ass. That seems pretty par for the course, especially considering it’s Jennifer’s hoodie. Honestly though it’s so slay ❤ It looks really good in the end. I also can’t blame you for being done with the hearts. I can only imagine how absolutely tedious it was to do them all. It’s iconic and I love seeing it in your videos. 🎉
This is iconic!! You are the MVP!! Job well done even with all the craziness and frustration ...you still pulled through and got it done. I am a perfectionist when it comes to knitting, sewing, crocheting and peyote beadwork.. . you have it and I love a challenge so this is right up my alley haha. Thank you for uploading this. I know that was alot of work to knit and to edit this video.
It's so cool that you can do so many things! Peyote beadwork is stunning. I can definitely relate when it comes to wanting to perfect projects, a challenge can be hard to resist sometimes haha. Thank you so much for your kind words, I'm really happy you enjoyed it! 💖
I've watched several of your videos today and I love them. You're humor is really enjoyable. This sounds exactly like something I would do to myself. And I'm not sure if knitting the hearts as colorwork would have been any better. The first flat colorwork I did was a circular yoke cardigan that I had to design from scratch. It was painful taking 1 hour + per row but the result was worth it. Thankfully only the yoke had colorwork.
I’ve been thinking about different ways to do the colourwork ever since… it haunts me haha. An hour + is impressive - trying to imagine the patience alone Thank you :) so glad you’re enjoying them
This is absolutely crazy! I love love watching your videos, and this one is absolutely amazing. You deserve way more recognition for how much work you put into these.
Incredible!!! Iconic movie and I love the result. It was really entertaining to watch and the editing was great as always. I'm awed at your courage to go without a pattern or experience in some techniques. I like excruciating projects too (finished wide leg trousers in fingering weight and now working on checkered knit tank top with perle 8 embroidery thread as my yarn.) I somewhat afraid to suggest it, because you might make it and suffer immensly, but have you considered making the cutout style sweaters a la Lirika Matoshi? I've tried the cenetered cast on multiple times but was never satisfied (btw there's a somewhat decent tutorial on a reddit comment). There are also more structured moon and star cutouts.
I'm really glad you enjoyed this one, thank you so much for your kind words. I appreciate the suggestion! It's funny you mention it, I actually chose to make this sweater over a cutout heart project I had in mind.
Kudos on finishing your trouser project - who doesn't love a checkered tank? Your yarn choices are impressive to say the least!
New subscriber here, you are so amazing and talented!! I first saw your totally spies vid as it popped up on my recommended. Thoroughly enjoyed this one too. Wishing you all the best :)
Okay it’s ICONIC THOUGH\\\ this is such a cool concept and I would never dare attempt it haha far too much work for me
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you!! It was soo much more work than expected
The wonky hearts give it _character_ beb ✨💖
