It was a blast! We have never heard of sledging before going to New Zealand

They have for the most part! One of us got ours pretty dented and cracked when we decided to check them with one airlines, which monos is sending is a replacement per their warranty. But overall they have held up and been sturdy. After pulling them around for 16 months and also flying 30+ flights, they have held out pretty well

🤣haha it’s the worst most of the time! One time at 6 am we had to wait because a boat was passing through and the bridge came up. Only interstate in the states that has this.

We recommend bringing cash since there doesn’t seem to be ATMs on the island that we found. It depends on your hotel. I would message or email them ahead of time to find out. We booked through booking.com and realized when we showed up had to pay in cash since they didn’t have a card machine. You can always book a hotel online where you pay upfront ahead of time. Our guide was very affordable. This is the snorkeling guide service we used. The guided snorkel was a couple hours and it was $13 USD per person. We did feel like we got a good sense of how the locals lived. Much of their livelihood depends on agriculture and tourism. It’s a family effort for running the tea houses along the way. We felt immersed but know the reality of tourism impacts on people

You usually have to validate when you start the trail but we started so early no one was at the booth. It was validated halfway through the trail. There are a few checkpoints a long the way.

You’re doing to enjoy the Salkantay trek. We brought our own water to start off the hike. We had 3 liters each. They do give you drinking water to fill up each morning. They have dispensers at each camp. Water and other drinks are also available to purchase at each camp.

Your welcome! If we see any people, we usually put her back on leash. That particular morning no one else was on the trail since we started so early. 95% of the time we leash her. She has since passed, but she didn’t run after people. She was scared of everything 😔

It is definitely a great place to visit and so beautiful in many parts. The people are some of the kindest we have met. Bansko is definitely a must and Sofia has a lot to offer and great food options in city center. We hope to go back and explore more of Bulgaria someday

We were there around the end of August. So about 20th to 30th ☺️ We spent a month in Norway and seemed like the weather was rainy on and off, but we still had a good amount of sun

We loved Chiang Mai and would totally go back. The food was the best part for sure. Go to Thailand where there is surf is places like Phuket ☺️
