      Thank you, Phil 😉 Glad you enjoyed it! A really pretty area. Just weren’t fans of the actual town…pretty crowded. Probably better shoulder or off season 😆

      Beautiful but crowded! What month did you visit amalfi coast? Planning a trip end of April and hoping for much less crowds but weather will be cool and less predictable. We won’t have time for both cinque terre and amalfi so leaning toward amalfi due to warmer weather but not sure....

    I recently got to experience Cinque Terre. Although we were there for four days it rained for two of them. We only got a day and a half on the trails. I hope to go back sometime. Looking forward to hiking the POTG in April 2025. Thanks for the helpful info.

    Nice video guys ! You did a good job on Italian pronounciation except for Amalfi which is AM-alfi (not AL-mafi) BOM-erano and Nocelle sounds like NO-chelley. Great hike !

    If you have to choose , for late October , would you do Cinque Terre or path of the gods ? We probably only have time to do one. Planning our trip for late October right now!

      We really loved the Cinque Terre area more than Almafi Path of Gods. The overall trail, train that connects the towns, and architecture of the town make it a better experience. We also loved the easy beach access in Cinque Terre.

      Definitely a good way to get around without worrying on the route and having someone guide always makes life easier ☺️

    If you had to choose between the Amalfi Coast and Cinque Terre, which would you guys pick?

    • @HelenandTimTravel
      @HelenandTimTravel  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That’s a tough choice and it also depends on your route and time of year. We like Cinque Terre More overall the trails and accessibility to the beach. There was a train that went to all the towns so that was convenient. Amalfi if you don’t have a car, you rely on public transit, but overall wouldn’t drive a car around either places when you get there because the roads are tight. Our vote is cinque terre because all the towns have so much more character ☺️

    This trail is nit for everybody, people get injuries and sometimes die. It’s located between 4 or
    4
    Counties and nobody wants the responsibility to get it safe for
    All the hikers. If
    You get hurt there only helicopters can come to grab you.
    Please be aware of that

      We definitely enjoyed the Cinque Terre area more! We loved the towns and the vibes more. Though both have a lot of tourism, cinque terre had more to see and do. We loved the architecture and the accessibility of the towns via train versus having to take the bus and boats in Amalfi
