Awesome finds 👊 😎
Very nice!
Great saves brother
Arrowhead hunting is surely fun and addictive, but it’s a good affliction, awesome recoveries, keep on em 😎😎😎
Thanks buddy and you are right! I appreciate your continued support!
I commented before I saw the end of your video, saw that little precursor to your next video,it answered my question. Does it seem that when you find a site with points etc, that you only find evidence in a general area? What im asking is do you find any evidence of artifacts say 50 or 60 yards from the actual site or is it generally located in a certain area. I know it depends on how large the site is, im trying to locate a site near my house that dates up to historical times. I found it by doing research of old maps and news paper articles of people in the 1920's finding arrowheads and tools. The one guy donated part of his collection to a small local museum. They had his handwritten notes and maps. Things are highly developed around that area with housing developments and roads. That's the reason I was inquiring about size and activity at sites. Figured I ask a knowledgeable person as yourself. Thanks for your videos and sharing your finds. Much appreciated. Best of luck and be careful diving in that murky water on that river.
I have found a few “isolated” artifacts that are not close to an obvious site. But 95% of my finds are within a few feet of shell midden, ash, or fire rock. My dad also has found at the bottom of the river they like to all gather in one area. That could be because they get stuck in one spot after so many floods or they stayed very close to the spot they were last used. I have heard with the older Paleo artifacts that they are a bit different and can be found in spots where there are no other signs of human activity. Hope this helps, thanks for your comment!
Hey Brother, we're you and your dad able to do the dive into the river, just wondering from your last video on the Civil War finds.
We haven’t been able to get back to that exact spot just yet. I did find a killer arrowhead though just upstream. Hopefully in a week or two we can try that CW spot.
Heck yeah, man 💥!! 😎👊
There we go!!!! I'll be here waiting for another! Blessings!
Thanks! I appreciate your support!

Thanks man 😎
Oh yeah, nice! Looks like the pup enjoys his day also. Looking foward to the dip as long as it's not a skinny dip. Thanks for sharing 👍.
I found a killer that was 16ft deep the other day! Slim Jim definitely is a water dog! Thanks for watching Jeff!
Perty cool, great finds! Wishing you all the best in every adventure! Take care
Thank you sir! I appreciate the comment
Salutations Friend, Excellent artifacts you found there, and I like your style of hunting; you know your river well! Mississippian and Hamilton points, and not to forget the Kirk, can all be found at least midway up into Indiana where I live. Several years ago I found a really nice Hamilton in Sullivan County, just north of Vincennes, Indiana; Man, do I ever love that particular, classic form! Seems the Mississppi and Ohio River valleys have been populated by many clans of folk, at least several if not innumerable occupations of varying cultures, and here in Indiana, one can expect to find something, though that something could be anything, biou t likely a stone tool crafted during a point within several thousand year span 😮😂 Thanks for sharing! Again, great artifacts! Sending cheers and blessings to you and all yours!
Thank you for the comment! I have a good feeling that particular site will wash out something nice in the next few months. We did scuba dive directly below it the other day and I found a killer! Indiana is a fantastic state for artifacts, I found one point there years ago while I played minor league ball in Indy! Have a great day!
Nice finds Rob, congrats!
Thanks for the comment! I’m glad you enjoyed it
Glad you give the LORD credit for all your finds.
I am beyond grateful for his blessings in my life! Thanks for your reassuring comment!
A good hobby for you and your parents. Thank you for not using foul language and giving God the credit for your finds.
Yes it is! They both enjoy going and spending time with me. It is a nice way to relax. Thanks for watching!
Some great finds, bullets and arrowheads. Would like to see you metal detect first before diving.
I'm just wondering what area u are looking for this stuff at? I'm near northeast Tenn, southwest VA area, right here in Appalachians. I have found a few flint arrowheads, I definitely wanna know where to look for more tho. Also found lots of old marbles around old cabins and barns, those are fun to find
I am in Tn too but a ways from you. If you have a boat or kayak that is a great way to access places that aren’t necessarily easy to get to. Look for big, white shells and scattered fire rocks. There is a difference in age of shells, the modern ones are small and sometimes white/black. Look for the big ones. There are many good water ways in your area to look. ‘Resurrecting Relics’ channel is near you I believe.
Nice to find stone artifacts amongst the Civil War bullets, I cringed with the thought of biting down on one, can’t imagine the wounds after getting hit by those, keep saving history, painful as it was😎😎😎
Thanks for the comment! I can’t imagine either 😣
Awesome saves, man !!! I'd love to find some Civil War bullets, for sure !!!!! 😎👍✌🍀
Thank you sir! Glad you enjoyed it!

The chewed bullet that you showed could have been chewed by a animal, those teeth marks look a bit small, like rodent teeth. I would have to view it up close for a closer look. I could be mistaken. Where it's found helps with the theory of each bullet. Thanks for sharing!! Love the history!!!
Hogs, squirrels and humans chewed on bullets. Some people can tell from some of the teeth imprints if a human chewed on them. Most of the time it was an animal. Nice pocket of lead and flint. 9 bullets and how many arrowheads? Thanks for sharing 👍
Thanks Jeff! I found 4 decent arrows and several broken pieces. Have a good night, friend.
That bullet wasn't chewed on in my opinion. We have found chewed pain bullets on the battlefield at Antietam. I have actually placed the bullet in my teeth and they fit perfectly. I'm not saying in a field hospital, these were found directly in the lines of the union army. Wounded men lay there for hours and sometimes days. If they had been gut shot or wounded badly I think they bit the bullet to help relieve pain, they were in so much pain. Some people, I won't mention names think it's not true, that hogs or ground hogs chewed on them. It could be possible but on this battlefield the farmer didn't let his hogs run loose on the farm. Think about it hogs were too valuable as a commodity to let run loose. There were no wild hogs there either. Also unless hogs have teeth like humans that theory is out the window. Like I say I have what I call pain bullets that fit perfectly with my teeth. There is such a relic as these bullets, I don't care what some know it all says.
Yeah I agree. I don’t think the one in the video was chewed after I took a closer look. The short clip I included afterward was a pain bullet in my opinion though. It seems to have human molar indentions all the way around. They very well could have been utilized while they were getting their wound worked on too. Those men were a lot tougher than our current generation!
The one in your video was either hit with a plow in the field above or the soldier took a knife to it. 👍
@RobsRelics That is the same with the pain bullets we have. My molars fit perfectly like I said in the comment. They are a super unique relic. I have 8 or 10 of them. All from the Suken Lane and Burnside Bridge on the Antietam Battlefield. My dad and brothers and myself detected there in the 1970's before the Government easement took over the farm. It's was privately owned up until about 2000.
You better detect that area, no telling what's there. If that's on a major river, there may have been a artillery gun emplacement there. You have 2 different types of Williams cleaners there. May be bottles there also if they were there for a period of time. Could also been a Ford or ferry crossing.
Thanks for the comments! Glad you enjoyed the video. My dad and I will be scuba diving the area in the next few days.
@RobsRelics Right on, I have a feeling you will be finding some good relics and artifacts. I'm jealous I wish I could go, lol. You have a good spot there, Brother. Good luck and Be safe!!
nice recoveries! a dive would be really cool, always wanted to dive Lake Erie off the big creeks.
Thank you! Keep your eye out for a scuba adventure coming soon!
Lake Erie is a beautiful place, I was able to catch some big Smallmouth Bass up there a couple years ago.
Congrats , great finds
Thank you! I appreciate the comment!
Great saves brother. That serrated birdie was bad @$$
Amazing finds, buddy! Have a great father's day.
Sweet 😎
Really nice find, I found one very similar over the winter, don’t know if you seen it but it’s on my thumbnail, awesome find buddy, congratulations, God Bless & GL&HH!!!
Do you know of a place close to Auburn to do this?
I’m not too sure. I know that area is very dense with artifacts. Maybe try somewhere around Lake Martin? Or any creek that looks promising. That’s probably where I would go
Killer ! Handy survival tool thousand’s of years ago . And could still be handy today ! Congratulations
Nice
Atta boy 👍
Nice find!
bangers
Very nice looking. Finds.
The native Indians must have been millions of them… because you can almost find arrow heads anywhere… that’s some nice ones…
You absolutely thanked The appropriate One when you thanked The Lord.I hear so many thank the great spirit, which is no doubt in ignorance, but mankind like it or not are drawn to some type of diety.Hopefully they come to know better someday. As for the finds, they were very nice, especially the pink striped stemmer at the end and the triangle on the front end is better than G-10, more like a 12 or something.Looks like it was made yesterday.:>)
Really nice finds Bud, that little stinger is killer, that material on that last one was beautiful thanks for sharing, God Bless & GL&HH!!!👊🏹
Thanks man! I’m hoping to have a scuba diving video at some point next week so watch out for that! Thanks for the comment and happy hunting!
@@RobsRelics oh wow that’s cool, I’ve been wanting to get certified for years, a lot of places I’d like to explore, I look forward to it, God Bless👊🏹
Nice finds man , congratulations and thank you for sharing
Thank you! I appreciate the view and comment!
Nice finds Rob! Congrats!
Thank you very much!
Nice hunt . Good job mom. Love that perfect little triangle.Peace
Thank you! It was perfect indeed!
@3:07 nice point, it's an arrow head not a bird point, small game like Coyote or Bobcat or Turkey. That would even kill a White tail deer. Bird points were thick and used on tri point atlatl darts. Very nice find.
Man you had a good day brother! That's serrated Madison was killer
Thank you! It was a very nice point for sure!
Some sweet stingers there man! The serrated point is either a Sand Mt.(South) or a Fort Ancient(North) depending where in TN you were hunting. The last one was gorgeous, love the material. Congrats and HH!
Now that you mentioned that I do believe it is a Sand Mountain point. I’ve found a couple over the years but this one must be one of the finest out there in my opinion!
@@RobsRelics That's what I was leaning toward myself, and I agree it is a damn fine example.
Really nice saves!! Very cool you got your mom out there too. That triangle is an absolute stinger!!! But you know that…. Very sharp piece!!!
Yes she learns a lot when she tags along and enjoys riding in the boat! Thanks for your comment friend!
Beautiful artifacts
I was blessed to find them. Thanks for the comment!
@@RobsRelics you're welcome
Absolutely beautiful bird point!! Great day! Good job, God bless
Thank you! It was a beautiful sight when I pulled it her out of the water. I appreciate the kind comment. Have a good night!
