      I can totally understand you, I used to not be into it but something ignited my passion for arrowhead hunting in 2020 and it’s not let up since! I’m still fairly new to it so I get very excited to find something nice. I’m going to have to get some more cases if I continue finding good ones! Thanks for keeping up with my videos brother!

    My wife and myself a few years back we found a 6 inch spear point made from chert. A expert told us it could be from 4 to 6 thousand years ago when it was made.

    • @RobsRelics
      @RobsRelics  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes, that’s why I like this spot because they only have a small amount of creek to tumble in. Most of them are fresh washouts after heavy rains. That’s the beauty of hunting around old abandoned spring beds. Thanks for watching!

    Ole Benny Allen… thanks for the shoutout brother. I was praying for ya haha. Honestly if your finding a bunch of Benton’s I’d call that marrow mountain a pickwick. Had the fine edgework of pickwick imo. They’re practically the same type to me .Same time frame just separated by distance/slight styles. Where was this found? Alabama? Also smokers all around brother. A huge congratulations my dude!

    • @RobsRelics
      @RobsRelics  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes someone else mentioned it being a Maples blade which is in that same cluster. We have found some Pickwicks in the area and a ton of Benton’s. It has incredible edge work and has a slight twist to it. Light grinding on one side of the hafting region. North Alabama not far from TN state line. There are some immaculate points in that area we are hunting just got to wait on the rain to wash them out. Thanks for watching brother!

      Your most certainly in Mecca brother. There’s some extremely nice artifacts in y’all’s neck of the woods. The TN river is 👑. I’d bet by the beveling and edgework she leans more pickwick. I saw another pickwick in the video also with more of a stemmed base. Maples is a good typing also as is morrow mountain. Cool part is she’s yours so you can call it as you please. Congrats again buddy and may a stellar paleo piece be in your future. 🤞🏻night buddy

    • @RobsRelics
      @RobsRelics  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@benallen7793 thank you sir! What I like about this site is there are several freshwater springs and flint quarries, plenty of game, and high ground. They had no reason to leave which explains why there are so many different points. Similar to the river in that regard but not very close to it like one would think. It has changed my whole perception of how to hunt for arrowheads. Goodnight friend.

    Hey brother if you could come to north ga I promise I could learn do much and you would have days of content.
    I've got 7 spots and they all are super historical for native and civil war stuff.
    I haven't found any points but tons of other tools, pottery, stuff like that. One spot is on a spring and the area is from the capitol new echota up to the TN state line.
    I would just like to learn more I can take you to so many places, my feet lease is loaded I know it.
    Do u know about bird stones??

    • @RobsRelics
      @RobsRelics  ปีที่แล้ว

      I could definitely meet up sometime as I actually live in North Ga. If you want to email me at conardbroom@yahoo.com we can try to coordinate something! Don’t know much about bird stones but I would love to find one someday.
