Thank you Jeff! We need to go looking for some points soon!
Wow Rob couple of nice points and some heartbreakers. That’s one heck of a site God bless and good luck
Yes it is like a major river in the fact that it washes out points everytime it rains. If only the farmer plowed that back field…
That’s a good spot. Those ones your dad found were nice too. I like finding those nutting stones too.
That creek amazes me with all the points it spits out. It is a very rich area for artifacts. Thanks for watching SEMO!
Nice hunt Rob.Some of those broken were real heartbreakers.See ya next time Peace
Thanks for watching man! It was a day of heartbreak that’s for sure! I’m happy to find the broke ones too though
Nice little honey hole you got there. Great finds, brokes are still artifacts. Good hunting.
Yes sir, I need to gather all the brokes from that site and see if any match up. It is awesome to be able to find something everytime I go there.
@@RobsRelics that seems like a spot I would hit every rain. Good hunting.
That’s a hot spot brother👍🇺🇸
Yes it is. I always come out with a pocketful at that spot. Thanks for the comment!
Follow the cows , seems like they know where they are lol, or maybe get in front of em
Yes that’s probably why a lot of them are broke in half. They like to cool off in the creek and there is a bunch of em.
What was the stone used for? The one that had the depression in it
Most people call them nutting stones because they could have been used to crack open acorns and walnuts. But I’ve also heard they could have been used as a fire starting rock.
What's the stone for?
It was used for cracking open acorns and walnuts. Generally they are present around village sites that had many people living there.
Cheers for that
