What's interesting is the quality of the points from spot to spot, thick and crude and thin and very well made like almost over done considering their short time of use, sometimes just once.
I think they call that a nodule. If ya Crack them open they have an inner core material that the natives used to nap their points out of, like flint. He actually mentions the nodules washing out of the dirt.
Nice days work y’all! I don’t know why but I ran across this video and it said I wasn’t subscribed, I thought I was subscribed before? Anyhow we’re uploading a video at 3 and you ain’t gonna believe what all happened to me on the last hunt😂👍👍👍
Great video brother. We went back to pickwick mountain this week for a 3 day hunt and nailed some killers. I’ll post it Wednesday or Thursday hopefully 🤞🏻 Benton’s and pickwicks had a thing going on because we find them very closely associated. Loved the video and thank you very much for sharing. Keep after em brother
Thanks buddy! I’m looking forward to your video. I always like finding them in the woods because it hasn’t changed much since the time they were living there. Have a good day man!
Yes that is one spot nobody thinks to look. You are more likely to find something killer because it’s only been drove over once as opposed to a thousand times in a plowed field.
At 3:08 what is that very circular looking thing???. I also have a very very nice snake creek blade I found no chips broke off anywhere how much you think it’s worth it’s a beauty of a piece
It’s most likely a flint nodule. There are tons of them in that area. Next time I’m there I will show what they look like. A lot of times they look like big peanuts. Thanks for watching and I’d like to see that blade!

Awesome guys
Hey guys, the 3 minute mark looks like a game ball laying right next to that stemmer you found.

I was thinking hey guys that's the backend of something maybe adds or grooved axe!
I seen the game ball as well.
I wouldn’t be surprised if I missed something, it was so daggum cold I had trouble focusing 🥶
I was thinking the same thing
Great finds

Ya'll done good. 👍
Yes sir! We need about a 8” gully washer soon and there will be more!

Nice little camp ya got there! Some nice pieces popping out!
Yes indeed! We are hoping to get access across the road. There is a well documented site near there so we know it’s got some killers.

Life is rough!
That’s not dad, that’s old eagle eye.
Yes he has no problem finding the “plainviews” as he calls them 😂
Never knew to look in clear cuts for um. Thx.

@RobsRelics I usually just look in the creeks, but I'll absolutely be checking the clear cuts from now on as well.
Sweet Finds Bro 😎🏹
Thanks my man👍
