Tiny bit of vaseline on the barbs and it is much much easier. That's how I did it.

It shuts off by itself when I use the manual run on the display, but won't shut off when I run it on auto. Would this still apply? Also it only keeps the last zone running, I even switched zones to run last and the last one always stays on.

When replacing a PGP sprinkler head instead of digging the entire head out why can’t just the top be unscrewed with spring, and installed into the existing body already in the ground?

I have a 4 zone timer, with 3 zones and a pump start switch. So I have 2 common wires and an extra red wire, whre does the second wire on the pump start switch go?

Ive got 2 valves acting up 3 valves and 3 zones in total . The other day zone 2 did not shut off meanwhile zone 1-3 ran and shut off correctly. I closed zone 2 at the valve due to over watering. Come next cycle zone 1 isnt turning off until zone 3 is done? I appreciate the helpful info! Ps. i did lower the flow at each valve because there was too much pressure at the heads imo. could turning the flow too low possibly causing these issues?

Most of my sprinkler heads stick up about 1 inch above the soil, perhaps because of soil settling/compaction since the system was installed. I need to dig them up one by one and see what's going on ... sure hoping that they use the extension hose the way you demonstrated! Thanks for the educational video!

If your 1/4" run is over 5 feet, I believe your emitter goes on the end and not into the 1/2". Is this correct?

Does a sprinkler system add value to a home sale value? If yes, I'll fix it. If no, I'll fix it without breaking the bank. It's a Rainbird system. There are only 6 homes in this subdivision which has only 144 homes.

I bought a home in Central Alabama. It was a divorce situation, so it was "as is" but at $125,000 under full list of $285,000. Seems the drunk husband yanked the sprinkler head and part of in ground hose from three sprinkler system. It's a Rainbird system, which I have just turned off. It was far down the list. In this video at 5:15 is what the pull up heads look like. It's like underground hose and not a pipe. Where and how to begin?

How does the white common wire work if your adding another valve box in a different location for extra zones?

Super helpful video, wish I watched it before I over-screwed the adjustment screw and blew the nozzle out. I was able to find the nozzle on my lawn, but the screw is lost. Can the screw be replaced (and where would I find it??) or am I out $17 and need to replace the entire head?

Howdy all! Spend a few extra dollars at the Hardware Store and buy a combination hole punch/ tubing cutter! After jabbed my poor fingers trying to FORCE that barbed fitting into the tubing.

Superb tutorial!

Top tip, dipping the end of the pipe in hot water for 30 seconds makes it considerable easier to get it on the barbed fitting.

Hello, I have the Hunter PGP and I was successful adjusting the left turn but the right turn goes to far to the right, off my lawn and watering my driveway. I want to adjust the right turn so that it is not going too far to the right (which is fixed :( so how do you align to the line of my lawn to begin with?

I don't want to water my driveway when it turns to the right. It was fine last summer but when I tried to adjust the left turn, the right side turns.
