This is definitely one of the best TH-cam instructional videos I've seen. He is thorough, and explains everything in sufficient depth and detail to assure the viewer will be successful, unlike a lot where they rush through glossing over important details.
Excellent video! Thanks. I thought you weren't going to show us how to get a nozzle OUT of the head. Putting them in is easy. Getting one of those suckers out can be trying....
Must have got distracted in not making the video too long. Check out our other videos and I know there is at least one of them that does. You can always just unscrew the set screw and turn on the water and let it fly:)
Do the different nozzles throw the water at different angles? I was noticing today that my 2.0 nozzle seems to throw the water pretty high. If I put a 3 or 4 on there, will it bring the angle down? Or do you have to get low angle heads to get any change?
How to remove? U show it snap or hard to press in but how do u get it out when there's nothing to grab on to with a needle nose pliers. I have pgp-adj with completely round nozzle.
Great question. You can back out the set screw and then turn on water. That will typically blow it out. Or since I usually am not planning to reuse it I will stick the rain bird tool in the orfice of the nozzle and pry it out that way. Hope this helps!
And your sure it is the correct nozzle for the head? Might need cleaning or there might be burrs on the inlet that need to be deburred. Should slide in if inserting at given angle
Extremely helpful video... very clearly explained... Thank you so much.
Excellent point about how a 90-degree spray lays down twice as much water to an area than a 180-degree. Nice!

Yes. The farther the distance / higher flow the steeper the angle.
Low angle nozzles are an option for some models of heads
Thank you! My sprinkler came with zero directions!
Just adjusted my four zones haha
I have a question. Can you change out the nozzle on a PGP nonadjustable?
Not familiar with the non adjustables but if they have colored nozzles with a set screw I would venture to say yes

Other than distance and GPM, what is the difference between Blue nozzle and red nozzle?
I think those are the only differences but I’ll have to double check.
Ah thanks a lot! Was just wondering what the difference is between low angle and normal!
my nozzle won’t go in …. wth
And your sure it is the correct nozzle for the head? Might need cleaning or there might be burrs on the inlet that need to be deburred. Should slide in if inserting at given angle
This is a pgp ultra, pgp rotors don’t use these nozzles
That is correct. The concept should be the same.
