Many years ago, I was looking to service one of these TK 20 and the idler wheel metal had split into many pieces as if it deteriorated and dried out. The only surviving section looked just like a dried lake bed in the desert. At the time, I couldn't source any "new" ones, so I gave up.
Hi! Thanks for sharing this video. Today at the RepairCafe I am working at I tried to repair a similar machine. Unfortunately 2 of the 3 belts are broken (the one in the top left is still intact). I found some replacement belts online, but I don't know how they should be connected to the wheels. Would you mind sharing that? Thanks from the Netherlands!
There should be a service manual out there online which should show you how the belts go on. I'm not too sure as my belts were all okay. ps. Actually looking at my first video on the machine, it looks like the two other belts both go on the main flywheel, one from the motor pulley to the flywheel, and one from the right hand reel to the other groove on the flywheel. You have to remove the head block first, only two screws to remove but be careful of that fine wire that goes across.

Just bought rhis model this morning. I fired it up and was expecting not to work. It worked first time. It even had original plug on.
where did you find the reels and tapes, or did you have tapes come with it?
