Justin Stuart he’ll get there. Kenan’s mission and educational style are so full-hearted, relatable and full of important, raw information. I think he deserves a show on Netflix. We need more people like Kenan to show how important HUMANS are to preserving our ecosystem. He takes care of ALL HIS ANIMALS himself! No crew. If I could choose the best next Steve Irwin... it would be Kenan. I don’t think a lot of people realize how important animals are, both domestic and feral. Kenan follows the law and does absolutely everything in his ability to make sure his animals have a great home. It’s not about “subs” or views. Go look at some of these other “PetTubers” (which I do not put Kenan in that category neither Snake Discovery.) All they do is get these animals for content, views, and cool/cute Instagram photos. I just came across some Brian something “pet-tuber” and he is the epitome of a piece of shit who should be i jail. I do not recommend watching or supporting any of this Brian characters videos. But other channels in the Y’Tube community have made videos on why he is such a monster. When you compare the two, there are such differences, you can’t even compare them besides they both HAVE animals. Kenan respects the animals despite views, whereas others have “click-batey” titles and thumbnails. I have yet to find a better source of information for my baby sulcata tortoises and Kenan is a down-to-earth person. I don’t think HE necessarily cares about views and subs. Although yes, I’m gonna call it now that if he continues on this path, he will become the biggest reptile educational TH-cam channel. I thank Kenan SO MUCH. Because if you can help even ONE animal, it’s so worth it to him I think. His passion is front and center and it’s a pleasure watching him with his animals. So from me, and I think most of your viewers, THANK YOU KENAN. WE ALL SUPPORT YOU AND YOUR MISSION AND I WILL CONTINUE WATCHING ALL YOUR VIDEOS. In other words he's no "Paul Caffaro" Although I was subbed to him but then got sick of all the "click baity" nonsense and animals dying off etc. I meant he should have more subs than others as he does everything the right way and I just know that any money he makes will just go right back into what he does best which is caring for all his amazing creatures. My latest Cherry head Red Foot Colony of 3 seems to be all female, and my biggest gal laid for the first time last year. I hate not having a male, but have not been able to locate one down here in Mexico. Working on it!

There are few reptiles that can retain sperm and use it up to 4 years later that we know of. Ball pythons are another one, and they can breed with more than one male and have babies from 2 or even 3 males that we know of.

I had a Vailed Chameleon get egg bound, she didn't make it, it doesn't take long for lizards to die from becoming egg bound. She was only 5-7 days late in laying. I gave her as well as her sisters multiple nesting sites and she dug in all of them but just wouldn't lay her eggs. Her two sisters layed eggs in the first hole they dug. She was the largest of the three so I don't think it was a size issue. Sometimes it just happens and from those that I talked to that breed Vaileds, they are notoriously bad with getting egg bound. I only did breed them the one time as I has some personal things I had to deal with and had to give up all my reptiles and Darts.

I had that happen to me my female hermann was egg bound and she was never with a male. At that time I had no idea that can happen. Luckily she is ok and after an injection layed that one egg that caused her a lot of trouble.

Kenan is that thing about storage of sperm also true for snakes?? Cause sometimes people breed snakes and in the clutch has a snake gene that isn't supposed to be. Could it be from a previous breeding?
It is. Snake Discovery channel had a clutch where that happened.

Some snake species can also hold sperm like tortoises can

I had a Greek male and Russian female tortoise mate. Their was only one egg that hatched and it is a very small, weird looking little guy. Has anyone else had two closely related species create a hybrid? I separated them and dn not want it to happen again since the one off spring seems to have genetic problems.
