    • @YoureTerrific
      @YoureTerrific  3 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      You gotta think they would sell a lot. But there’s the r&d cost and then there’s a less tangible cost to the luxury prestige of the brand. Or that’s probably how Panerai sees it.

    • @christopherliang6879
      @christopherliang6879 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      well when I was at a Panerai boutique the other day they say their best selling Panerai is the luminor duo which is around that price point and available in 38 and 42. It just isn't a real sports/tool watch with 30m water resistance. So yes, it would sell a lot but they already have a watch line in that size and price range

    • @zman8340

    You other brothers can't deny
    That when a guy walks in with an itty bitty wrist
    And a round thing ticking
    You get sprung! Want to pull-up the sleeve
    Cause you noticed that bezel was stuffed
    For deep in the water it's rated
    I'm hooked and I can't stop staring
    Oh baby, I wanna get your ref numba

    Good video, and nice watch. I wish it wasn't so pricey.
    For the record, i think it is in poor taste to suggest that men who prefer larger watches are insecure, etc...just as it would be in poor taste to suggest that men who prefer smaller watches are closet crossdressers. Let people like what they like, and don't take cheapshots. There's enough hate and bigotry in the world without trying to dunk on people for something as unimportant as watch preference.

      What’s wrong with crossdressers?

    I tried this watch back in June. It's really, really... BIG. Way too big. But it does sing to me. There is a 42mm variant of it, just not sure I want the 42mm. WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME!?!?!?!!?!???

      But there’s no titanium 42.

    I like the size of the luminor duo but that thing is like a fake Panerai, with its 30m water resistance.

    I hate people that wear €150 60mm watches with 4 faces or whatever gimmick powered by a €5 quartz movement in a €5 steel body just because it's flashy but if the watch actually looks good, has had some thought put into it and doesn't look utterly stupid on you then go for it. I'm a 39mm kinda guy but I do enjoy my crazy big Casio from time to time lel.

      Yeah, I see those every day. I can’t stand them, but if they make those people happy… 🤷🏻‍♂️
