After all these years. Still, to this date, my favorite watch channel hands down. Your witty sense of humor has me cracking up all day long...long after your videos are over. Cheers and Happy Holidays!
Comment is border line creepy. “Cracking up all day long..long after your videos are over” it’s TH-cam if you’re thinking about a video long after it’s over literally cackling, that’s weird and, well, Just downright creepy.
You're a f#$&n legend, love your videos, love your sense of humor, you also have a great watch knowledge and you're a true artist. Keep up the great work Evan 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
What a perfect, perfect SOTC video. Before this, I would have said that a 10-minute video is far too short for the ten or so watches you showed. That there would be no time to hear any sort of personal connection to the watch, and that it would all be horribly rushed. But this was perfect. How did you do this?
Evan, I just wanted to say that you seem like a really awesome guy. I love your videos and always look forward to the self deprecating humour and casual narration style. You've also got a great watch collection. Cheers!
Evan’s face has Grand Seiko level of details. The zeratsu polishing of his nose and the dial details of his pupils are exceptional. His face is a phenomenal value for the dollar. I’d choose it over Rolex or P.P any day of the week
Am I crazy for wanting the Steel Marathon Navigator? A $700 + quartz watch? But it's got 100m WR, and a 120 click bezel, and seems less disposable than the fibershell... But then again I really like that all black case...
Enjoyed the video! Love the Ploprof. You're one of the best watch TH-camrs out there, been following you from the start when you showed your SBDX017. You've come a long way in terms of editing, etc. All the best for 2024 and onwards.
No way! I imagined you so differently. It’s always like this, a voice doesn’t construct the correct image🤷🏼♂️. I really dig your approach and character, and your collection.
Okay, okay it's pretty decent. I really liked the Grand Seiko quartz at the beginning. The casework was magical on that. The Cartier on mesh was a stupendously baller move.
Awesome collection (and face?!?!?)! Love your reviews and sense of humor. Your SEVEN INCH WRIST has been a great reference point for how many watches will wear on my 7.3" wrist. The collection is looking fantastic! Curious what you might be hunting in the near future. Personally, I'm looking to add a new 40mm Explorer 1 and hopefully a JLC reverso small seconds tribute. All the best in 2024 and beyond.
Hey pal ! I don't wanna be rude, but the square G-shock you show in the video is not the U version, it's the older version with "EL BACK LIGHT" on the top right corner instead of just "LIGHT". Anyway, watch is nice and the collection too ! Do you plan to test a full metal square sometime ?
This is the best watch channel. (For me, I guess?) I really appreciate the grounded approach you bring to this very silly but also wonderful quasi-hobby.
You can now be sure I'll say "Hi" if I have the chance to meet you ... but I can't guarantee it won't be in a creepy / "oh my God! OHMYGOD" type of way 😉 Thanks for sharing your passion, sir 🙂👍🏼
Thank you for sharing your collection. You've got an amazing channel going and I'm sure whatever incredibly unnecessary but "perfect" watches we see in the future will be terrific.
Your video on the Cartier Santos with the blue PVD bezel is the reason I own it. I still rewatch the video sometimes. Love the way the whole video is filmed and edited. It's such a unique looking watch as far as Cartier goes, and I love it. Thanks for the awesome content and happy holidays & new year!
Your dad’s watch is great, I was a kid in the 80’s and that was the coolest watch then and still is. I’ve got my dad’s gold tone seiko from the 80’s complete with a gold metal stretchy band from Walgreens that he put on when the original bracelet died - the quartz still works!
Diverse collections and another fun video! Love the Ploprof, Navigator and others. Your "I bought an Omega Ploprof"--one of my favs. Curious, are you familiar with SeL Instruments' MK2 OmniDiver and D42-T Diver? Bigger bomb proof tool watches in grade 5 titanium hand built in Tuscon. At any rate, keep up the good work, Patrick
Such a great account! Love your commentary, banter and reviews. I just picked up my first Rolex, explorer I, 40mm, I know you love the 36 and agree whole heartedly, what matters only is the “for me” aspect driving our decisions. Keep putting out amazing content.
04:52 Good it is liberating to admit it. I am also not the biggest Panerai fan but, I get it. Worth nothing one can assemble a PAM on his own, with decorated Unitas and all. This model is also good - proportion and fun factor wise. However since 124060 landed I think I will end with 310.30.42.50.01.001.
One of the nicest watch collections i’ve seen so far. Too be honest I like your seiko watches, marathon, rolex explorer 1 and 2. I might pick up a marathon later, that lume stuff sounds interesting.
Very great collection u have there mate. I cant afford rolex or any high end luxury watch. My current line up is Certina DS action GMT, Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic,Tissot Couturier Chrono, Luminox sea turtle, and the legendary casio Gshock
Im planning for my 40th watch .. can't seem to pick the right dress watch, I'm too insecure to have a Tank, and I would've gone with the Explorer if i hadn't got the BB58 .. guess my brain is damaged after all ;
Bro, I envy you for that Cartier tank must solarbeat so much. Can't get that anywhere. Heck, I can't even find a regular quartz tank anywhere. :( Didn't know Cartiers were as hard to get as Rolexes lol.
Amazing collection!! As a watch enthusiast from India was totally surprised when you pulled out that HMT! (The oldest Indian watch brand) I still have one of those passed on by my Grandfather and its still running like new :)
Why don't you cut this down to 7 watches: the Marathon, the Tag, the Cartier, one of the GS, the Ploprof, the Explorer and of course the Tudor chrono. All the rest is junk or superfluous.
I was lucky enough to meet Evan as I work at a watch boutique in Birmingham, England. Absolutely awesome guy and a stand-out in this hobby. Evan please don't hesitate to drop by for a drink the next time you're over here again!
Your face and wrist size is way better than Andrew Morgan’s big reveal so don’t sweat 😂 I have still not fully regained my heterosexuality after ID Guys face reveal though 🥴😂
I discovered your channel recently and glad I did. Great to your SOTC, butwas curious to know how long the Breitling Superocean stayed in your collection and why did it leave?
Funny how audio signals subconsciously generate visuals. You look dramatically different than the image my brain auto created. Extra wrist and time on its way to you. Merry Christmas!
You might be my favourite watch guy now, very relatable and the quality videos and detailed reviewed, I believe even better compared to the Nico's and Teddys our there. Keep up the great work!
Just discovered your channel and have subscribed. I don't know what your day job is, however comedy should be on your radar someday. Very entertaining.
Oh… Sailing is a sport 👍🏼 depending on the boat of course. But i can take you on a Short sailingtrip for 3 Hours and you will spend the Rest of the day not moving anything or yourself 🤣😉
Hope to cross your path someday. I'll give you my signature "fist bump that turned out to be a high five, but wait it was a fist bump after all, and now I'm giving your fist a gentle pat."
I know you’re gonna hate this, but where’d you get the strap for your Tank? I’ve purchased a couple Milanese mesh straps for mine, but the end caps that house the spring bars are never quite as seamless as what you have here. Cheers.
For my taste- a perfect collection. And great finally seeing the face of TH-cams funniest watch reviewer Best wishes from Iceland 🇮🇸and keep up the good work
Great video matey. Love to see your ugly face and different watches. I live in France (British) and I doubt you'll ever get to my neck of the woods, Limoges, but if you do I'll happily buy you lunch. I too do watch videos and other stuff too and am currently waiting on a new Rolex Sub green bezel and thinking this very evening of buying a cheap and knackered old Porsche design watch. That's why we love watches.
After all these years. Still, to this date, my favorite watch channel hands down. Your witty sense of humor has me cracking up all day long...long after your videos are over. Cheers and Happy Holidays!
Thanks so much. Happy holidays to you too.
Great collection
“Hands Down”…….pun intended?
Comment is border line creepy. “Cracking up all day long..long after your videos are over” it’s TH-cam if you’re thinking about a video long after it’s over literally cackling, that’s weird and, well,
Just downright creepy.
i agree
Evan is the Deadpool of watch guys, love self aware humor and 4th wall breaking jokes
Such an accurate description! 😃
Are you referring to his face? 😂
Handsome Squidward alert!
OH NO, HE’S HOTTTTTTT
You're a f#$&n legend, love your videos, love your sense of humor, you also have a great watch knowledge and you're a true artist. Keep up the great work Evan 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
What a perfect, perfect SOTC video.

But this was perfect.
How did you do this?
The Ploprof is easily the best watch you own. Wish i also had a 7 inch wrist, too to be able to wear one.
Evan, I just wanted to say that you seem like a really awesome guy. I love your videos and always look forward to the self deprecating humour and casual narration style.
You've also got a great watch collection. Cheers!
Thanks so much, my dude.
Evan’s face has Grand Seiko level of details.

His face is a phenomenal value for the dollar.

The steel looks great and I think it has a high accuracy quartz movement. So a little cooler than normal.
Enjoyed the video! Love the Ploprof. You're one of the best watch TH-camrs out there, been following you from the start when you showed your SBDX017. You've come a long way in terms of editing, etc. All the best for 2024 and onwards.
Since we’re in the award season, I’d love to nominate this video as best watch video of 2023.
Sad that my Evan-face equity went from 50% to 33.3% 😞
Just wait for Teddy’s video this month. 25%.
your 5610u is not u. U says Light on the dial. Old model says El. Back Light. Because back light is different.
Still waiting for the face collection
Where’s the Pelagos LHD?
Not in Paris, they will beat you to death for your watch in 2023
No way! I imagined you so differently. It’s always like this, a voice doesn’t construct the correct image🤷🏼♂️.
I really dig your approach and character, and your collection.
Is it just me or is the Tag somehow the pick of the collection?!?!?!?
Where's IWC Mark XVIII?
Another vote for bringing back a 40mm Explorer 2. Can’t be bothered finding a used one and worrying about condition and if it’s polished etc.
Okay, okay it's pretty decent. I really liked the Grand Seiko quartz at the beginning. The casework was magical on that. The Cartier on mesh was a stupendously baller move.
The first time someone has ever looked exactly as I pictured in my head.
Awesome collection (and face?!?!?)! Love your reviews and sense of humor. Your SEVEN INCH WRIST has been a great reference point for how many watches will wear on my 7.3" wrist. Knew the face, but the wrist was a surprise! Especially knowing it's...
Enjoy
Great video! I'm curious, why did you decide the CW 12 wasn't right (for you)?
Ahhh………….the watch hobby-where a person with an addictive personality can thrive 😎!!
Ah dang it, I cant pretend im you now for free stuff.
Damn, i thought you were just a 7 inch wrist
Hey pal ! I don't wanna be rude, but the square G-shock you show in the video is not the U version, it's the older version with "EL BACK LIGHT" on the top right corner instead of just "LIGHT". Anyway, watch is nice and the collection too ! Do you plan to test a full metal square sometime ?

What the hell is this "Wish" Teddy Baldassarre?!
Imagine seeing him in person and you shout out , “hey , You’re you’re terrific !”
It happens. I love it.
You can now be sure I'll say "Hi" if I have the chance to meet you ... but I can't guarantee it won't be in a creepy / "oh my God! OHMYGOD" type of way 😉
Thanks for sharing your passion, sir 🙂👍🏼
Thank you for sharing your collection. You've got an amazing channel going and I'm sure whatever incredibly unnecessary but "perfect" watches we see in the future will be terrific.
Evan you legend. I never comment on youtube, but just gotta say you are one of my favorite you-tubers in general. Keep it up!
Same for me on the Marathon Navigator. I'm poor.
I wish they did that in the medium Santos. The scratching on the polished bezel just ruin what would otherwise be a perfect watch for me.
Great video as always. Just curious if you're mostly using the 50mm F2.8 macro for video as well!
Great video as ever, love your style. Always look forward to your collection videos. Ploprof definitely your signature watch.
Your dad’s watch is great, I was a kid in the 80’s and that was the coolest watch then and still is. I’ve got my dad’s gold tone seiko from the 80’s complete with a gold metal stretchy band from Walgreens that he put on when the original bracelet died - the quartz still works!
I always knew he was a stud.
Great vid

Stellar collection, love your videos and the dry humour you add. Thanks for sharing! 🔥
"For Me." So true! Nailed it.
Such a great account! Love your commentary, banter and reviews. I just picked up my first Rolex, explorer I, 40mm, I know you love the 36 and agree whole heartedly, what matters only is the “for me” aspect driving our decisions. Keep putting out amazing content.
Nice video! No more IWC?

How do you have time making watch videos and hosting "All In" with Chris Hayes on MSNBC.
Man, this is weird...
Bro, I envy you for that Cartier tank must solarbeat so much. Can't get that anywhere. Heck, I can't even find a regular quartz tank anywhere. :( Didn't know Cartiers were as hard to get as Rolexes lol.
Yet another great video from my favorite internet watch dude. Well done Evan.
Amazing collection!! As a watch enthusiast from India was totally surprised when you pulled out that HMT! (The oldest Indian watch brand) I still have one of those passed on by my Grandfather and its still running like new :)
"Panerai wearers have insecurities trying to deal with" I heard some bs from influencers in my time, but that is just crazy lol.
Why don't you cut this down to 7 watches: the Marathon, the Tag, the Cartier, one of the GS, the Ploprof, the Explorer and of course the Tudor chrono. All the rest is junk or superfluous.

Hey, Harry! Thanks so much.
Superocean gone!?
Your face and wrist size is way better than Andrew Morgan’s big reveal so don’t sweat 😂
I have still not fully regained my heterosexuality after ID Guys face reveal though 🥴😂
I discovered your channel recently and glad I did. Great to your SOTC, butwas curious to know how long the Breitling Superocean stayed in your collection and why did it leave?
Just watching this video with my SBGH273 in my arm and now i see the exact same bracelet on a much cheaper Seiko 3:26min. C‘mon…

The gold standard in my house before buying any watch is - Does evan approve !?
Have a great 2024!
Was literally just watching your Omega Ultra Deep video and thought I wonder what this guy looks like!
Love the collection. I'm surprised to see you sold the GS "butter dial" GMT though!
Very cool. You are the best watch video producer...For me! It may also be that we both have the same size wrist. How big is yours...again?
Absolute legend. Still smashing it out of the park. Well done bro.
I don't like any of those. Except the Tanks. Tanks are dope. The Explorer 1 too, I guess. 😉👍
Lovely face!
I know you’re gonna hate this, but where’d you get the strap for your Tank? I’ve purchased a couple Milanese mesh straps for mine, but the end caps that house the spring bars are never quite as seamless as what you have here. Cheers.
Has anyone found a watch display case that holds over 100 watches? I have been searching with no luck.
Marathon on that perlon steel buckle, hardware clash making me itch. They make black buckles for the perlon now 😢
I was getting worried! For the longest time there I thought you didn't have a face.
Just got it. Still working out the kinks.
I assume you are wearing that poor Americaine on that awful bracelet because you don’t have the deployant.
For my taste- a perfect collection.
And great finally seeing the face of TH-cams funniest watch reviewer
Best wishes from Iceland 🇮🇸and keep up the good work
Good watches, a quality face. Well done
Thanks for your continued excellent content - you are probably the only watch channel even my wife approves of!
...until she saw my face.
eww
Been on the fence with Cartier.... I like the idea, but they look just too fragile on my wrist.
New York.
Rome.
Paris.
Singapore.
Portland?
exacly it may be old or new by it's absoluty hobby stuff, very subective and thats ok!
The many Rolexes are a bit boring... FOR ME!!!
I seriously looking to buy this watch and I m torn between the steel and the titanium. I just don't want it to feel flimsy
Thanks for the shout-out Evan! Glad I am one of the two humans to have had the pleasure of portraying your 7-inch wrist (and your face)!
Got to wonder what happens to a quartz perpetual calendar when they change the battery. Does it retain charge for a minute to maintain the settings?
We have the same watch box! Love the collection, so stoked with this video!
Not sure if this was asked before but would love to know more about that 3D printed radio stand!
The transition from face time to dial time was so smooth. I like it.
Your face is also on Bruce Williams' channel when he interviewed you.
Played the brain is broken part to my wife. She concurred.
Well, helloooo
Look who's here! Did you find your inner self finally?!😃
Terrific reveal, the collection and the face.
Hodinkee are you watching?
I am surprised that this 7 inch wrist and soulless judgemental tone actually has a face
Great video matey. Love to see your ugly face and different watches. I live in France (British) and I doubt you'll ever get to my neck of the woods, Limoges, but if you do I'll happily buy you lunch. Evan! What had happened to your IWC mark xvii and your newly bought CW the 12? Don't see them in your latest collection in the video 😢
Like I said in the video “either I sold it, I gave it away, or I never owned it.” Sold the IWC. The CW belongs to my wife.
