    Your channel saved my life. I had some dark days during the pandemic and your content saved my life. I've lost 50 lbs cycling and still enjoy watching your content. Keep it going.

      Cycling saved my life so I share that love with everyone I can so they can experience the same joy and receive a new lease on life like I did. Glad you made it through the dark times👍

    Hi Brian. Have you considered strapping the top of the BDR to the saddle rails rather than the seat post? To mitigate lateral shifting?

    The flat tire kit goes in the triangle bag. The battery for the hidden electric motor goes in the front bag. The pop-up camping tent fits into the rear bag. Your pet snake goes in the frame bag.You might have to fold him.

    Boomerang bag. The small one, for tools or an inner tube. The orange color is to find small items easier.

    Thanks for the video.
    Those extra bags are packing cubes - to help you organize your clothing or other items.
    Also the orange interior helps you see what you have inside; it is difficult to locate small things when the interior is a dark color.
    I look forward to your video with the bags fully loaded!

    Those loops are called molle (military acronym for Modular Lightweight Load-carrying Equipment) loops and there are a whole of stuff that are designed to attach to them.

    Frame bag will be good for the tools that are missing from the Brompton toolkit (I have chain breaker, open ended spanner, spoke key, spare links, TipTop patches, Pedro’s tyre levers), or maybe a good place for a small medkit

    • @bytesabre
      @bytesabre 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

      follow up: bought the bag, have those things in it but did not have room for medkit (was a ziplock bag with a couple big plasters and a couple sterile wipes, nothing fancy). Also could not fit tiptop box in so they are loose in there. Most space is taken up with awkward shape of chain breaker so maybe can solve that with a smaller one. These items were in a saddle bag before.
      Bag looks really good and doing a good job.

    Seems like you have the only review online about the bdr bag. How is the padding? I'm thinking about using it to carry my laptop and other stuff for work. Can't really tell from the pictures on the website if there's enough padding to protect something like that or if the bag is just for clothes/tents/etc.

    I wanted this back bag to be perfect but it's so sooo badly though out. I don't know any other backpack where you can't access main compartment straight away. Also if it's a brompton oriented bag - they should've made it top-access. The top holding to the seat should be strong rubber material, not flimsy lock. So many opportunities missed here.

    Yes the color of the kislux is beautiful and it is a great decision, maybe one day they will add feet and straps. It would be nice to have a bigger bag during the colder months when we have to store gloves, beanies, scarves, etc…

    Great review !! Nice that its a special setup for Brompton. Looks realy good and usefull. I am using the setup like 'The Brompton Traveler' has and sometimes the Cyclone biketrailer, but this setup is maybe better. The frontbag I will for sure check out. About the rearbag, I am wondering how the rearbag would handle if its loaded. Does it wobble ?

    Really cool setup! I have one of those triangle bags (from a different brand) It's good for a spare tube and some tools. I even have a mini pump that just about fits in there!
    One thing I would've liked to see is how it folds. It looks like the frame bag and the front bag might get in the way of each other.

    Those bags look decent. Better than the official brompton ones. Ive used the official brompton rack bag and it can flop about a bit but not usually a problem. Heel strike is an issue though, but i suspect it won't be with these as its more of an upright orientation. Lots of folk strap rucksacks to the rack in that manner and it seems to work fine. Damn it - more stuff to spend money on!

    Great Video. The Bags seem very functional - I like the idea having the Backpack on the rack - one can shoulder the bag and roll the brompton around. All their products seem to be thought through nicely. I only have the small nash from them, and I like its quality.
    The uniklip is from a german company, which one can buy by itself.
    The bright inner lining helps one spot things inside the bag and makes it obvious if the bag is not closed.
    too bad I have too many bags :D

    What gearing do you use? It must get heavy with all those bags and hard to cycle the Brompton. I converted my Brompton to electric using the switch and recently started using a rack bag and front bag on it, and my god the bike is slow when the battery is dead. I also have reduced gearing 44t for hills, but with the battery its fine i get 17mph, but when its dead, if it weren’t for the 44t i would not be able to get home, shits heavy!

  • @TiberiusWallace
    @TiberiusWallace 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

    It all looks great but tbh at the price they're at and the claim it's for touring, the fact it's not waterproof means it's all a bit pointless.
    Raincovers are fine but if you have them instead of the waterproof back they you have them in the bag taking up room.

    Your S6R is now called: C-Line Explore Low. C-Line = steel, Explore = 6 speed, Low = S-bars. (Mid = M-bars & High = H-bars). I prefer the old name structure.
    Brompton used to say that the S-bars were incompatible with the T-bag (Cordura 1000D), due to handlebar & brake lever interference (as you stated), however a way around that is to hacksaw off the handle from the frame, then use paracord to create a soft handle tied in place (as this is soft and pliable vs the hard rigid plastic).
