I own 4 Dahons, This old 16" III and 1990 Curve 16", a 20" and 20" electric. I love the old Dahons. yes, not all can use a 16"! thats true. But, buddy: you said the running nose bother you? when i seen the bags around your eyes: that is the sign of an allergy (not lack of sleep or drinking ones - its different ones). the treatment is an small Histamine pill before sleep - but, the next day it WILL effect your pedalling, so, pedal very slow and focus. that will get rid of the "sand grains in my eyes" itch!

Two weeks ago I was in Paris wearing a fake kislux Chanel bag and people thought it was real. I had a lady compliment me when I was in the Louvre. It was an unforgettable experience.

Hey, Brian. Merry Christmas Eve to you! Question: Would you ever consider conducting a similar bike adventure on your Brompton? I own both a Brompton M6R and 3 Dahons (2 I bought for family members for camping trips): Mariner D8, Mariner D7, and Vitesse D7). I love both the Brompton and Dahon Mariner D8, but, was wondering about your choice of bikes for this particular adventure, where you chose your Zizzo (Dahon knock-off) over your Brompton.

I use my kislux as a work bag and have had no issues at all. It’s a comfortable bag, fits a good amount and hadn’t lost its shape. With that being said, I also take care of all my bags and don’t carry a water bottle, pens, keys or anything that can damage the interio

have you ever shown off your trailer? made or bought? I am new to the channel and excited to make everything weigh less for my next bikepacking trip.

the bottom nut sets bearing pre-load only. two upper nuts controls the friction so you steering doesn't have that wobble. hammer and punch.

The iphone's battery life being so garbage is one of the main reasons why I switched to android. I use a zenfone 9 now, and I have to charge it maybe twice a week, vs with an iphone id have to charge it every day. So, blame the iphone not the dynamo.

Changed my BB, crank, chain, cassette and derailleur now my forte is freaking the best of the best! Love this bike!

Hey Brian, I'm trying to decide between the Zizzo Forte 2023 or the Zizzo Urbano. I'm not looking to bring a lot of stuff with me or commute with the bike so it would seem like the Urbano is the way to go, given the price and weight difference. However, I am around 240-250 pounds which is above the recommended weight limit of the Urbano which is 240 pounds. Should I just go with the Forte 2023 with 300 pound capacity so I don't crush the Urbano if I wear a backpack or something? Really just want a fun folding bike for travels and leisurely rides, not errands or super steep hills.

besides the folding I'm pretty sure the squirrely handling characterists are lowkey why a lot of people get hooked on riding these things, its constantly stimulating because it demands your attention.

Some little-known Chinese company may send you something for free if you bought something from them and it broke, but any large company will send you away! Unfortunately, that's how it works and yours (for example) Samsung smartphone dies the day after the end of the warranty. And the company will say, "oh dude, we're really sorry, sorry, but there's nothing we can do to help you." In any case, I wish you good luck!

Hi Brian, the purpose of the bright orange interiors is to make it easier to find items inside your bags at night. Also, the Kwik Klip BDR bag mount will allow your bag to lean over if the weight in your bag is not centered over the rear rack.

The culprit is likely the cassette. There is a recall the Sugek cs-m3007 cassette that the bike ships with. May or maynot apply to Zizzos.

A seller wrote the mariner D8 ist not that good compared with the older mariner Bikes. Die you try the mariner D7 for example?

Just watched a few of your videos mainly because here in the UK, I've had multiple Bromptons over the years and just bought the G Line last week. So everything Brompton is dropping into my feed. I like the earthy style of your channel and the video work looked really good with the drone and cuts to bike shots and back again - some nice professional looking continuity and videography. I hope you get your life stuff sorted well - these things are sent to try us - as they say. Look forward to more creative content once you are back into the groove.

This is the same argument people have been having ever since disc brakes came out. You are not seriously going to compare idisc brakes and v-brakes in wet conditions are you? (The guy making the comment, not you). Disc are not more complicated, just different, get over the "complicated" routine, they're just different. They aren't going ANYWHERE!!! The car didn't stop replacing the horse. The TV didn't stop replacing the radio. Disc brakes are not going to stop replacing rim brakes. Get over it. The electric car will not stop replacing the gas car. EVERYTHING WILL CHANGE even if you don't want it to. Get over it, you can't stop it. Even big box stores are selling more and more disc brakes, it's just the way it's going, learn to live with it or just be a grumpy old man about it, quite frankly, YOU'RE not going to be able to stop it just because you don't like it.

Good report, with some great observations. I just ordered a D3 Pro. I will get a cable lock that I can thread through the frame, saddle, and a policeman (!) so carrying the seat around is not required.

Yeah I can understand why they didn't approve it also. Touring on a Brompton is WAY beyond any use that a Brompton is meant for. They are OUTSTANDING in multi mode travel/commute and nothing even comes close. The only thing that does a better job is living closer to work so you can ride a bike the entire way. That being said, a trailer is part of the weight the bike can handle? That really doesn't make much sense, and that was just what Brompton really needed to deny the claim... along with the warranty not being registered. If you went by the "use" policy of any bike, it would never be used.

Overpriced toy. I rather watch John Wick chapter 3.
