Sitting workouts are a great way to stay active while recovering from injuries or surgery! And of course, seated workouts are always beneficial for those who have mobility restrictions.
I survived it! I keep meaning to tell you I love the move, I think you call it a lateral tricep move, where you bring the weights down behind your head. I love curls too. I never would have believed I could take to weight lifting, muscle toning exercises but I love them. Thank you xxx
You are very welcome :) That's a great workout routine. Definitely something sustainable that you will stick with long term and that's the best thing for your body and overall health!
👍💛 An awesome session! You demonstrate and explain perfectly! It's nice that you are so empathetic. I am full of appreciation for you. These will be my favourite exercises. Thank you so much.🙂
You are very welcome! I am happy to hear that these seated workouts are helpful while you recover from foot surgery. I wish you a speedy and healthy recovery!!
Just did this workout and I love it! Felt like I really worked my muscles, I'm giving myself a high five! Thank you for getting me to love weights again!
Hello, my first workout with you. I had a bad upper leg and ankle sprain with what appears to be torn ligaments, so not workout out for several weeks I went trying to find a challenge mid to upper body challenge strength training pilates workout finding that pilates can help you recover and where you can sit down to do and found you and decided to give it a try. I'm in my early 50's and completed your level one and level 2. I enjoyed them including when to know when to increase the size of dumbells and how you like the bands as well. Looking forward to the next levels and still recovering. Thank you.
I am sorry to hear that you have suffered such leg trauma! I am sending you happy, healing thoughts :) It's wonderful that you have found our community and you should feel proud of yourself for continuing to stay active in a safe way even while injured 😀
Thank you again for another great workout. Harriet and I missed Boot and Whiskers. My boot is off and I get my AFO brace tomorrow and can do workouts that aren't chair as long as I am wearing the brace I guess I might not need it for yoga or pilates. He said I have extreme Arthritis and gave me an injection which I don't know why he didn't do it back in January and said to ice it for 10 minutes after exercising. I definitely think it was a good move to leave my job standing and walking on the hard floor at Taco Bell.
I am so glad that you have your brace now. It will offer you more flexibility to be able to take it on and off. Do you have some physiotherapy exercises to help rebuild strength around the foot and ankle? That would be very beneficial for you and help with recovery!
Hi, this is my first workout with you. I have been doing seated workouts for a few months. Thank you for this intense seated workout. I'm a wheelchair user who now loves excercises, but need to exercise from home. Looking forward to level 3 of this workout once I am ready for it. Thank you again.
Well done! Even on my strongest days I'm lucky to be able to lift 5lbs for the reverse fly! Sometimes I'll do about 3 or 4 reps at a higher weight and then drop back to 5lbs...slowly I'll be able to do more :)
Hiya. Which is the most challenging out of this and the '20 Minute upper seated dumbbell workout'? I have quite strong arms and am looking for the most challenging. Thanks
I would say that the 20 minutes upper body seated dumbbell workout is probably a bit more challenging! I will be posting a level 3 upper body with weights on Monday and that will be more challenging than both of the videos you mentioned 😀
I really liked this workout. Thanks for posting.
You are very welcome :)
This was so perfect!
That's great to hear! I'm glad you liked it :)
Thank you so much for this. I have a foot injury and can't do a standing workout. This was great for someone who is injured and a senior.

Great warmup, workout and stretch at the end. Loved the variation and no repeats! Thank you :)
So glad you like it! 😀

Well done! I never thought I would enjoy weight lifting and muscle toning either...and you know what?! Now it's my favourite 😆
So excited to see a new seated workout. I do a brisk walk outside every morning and a seated weights workout in the evening 3 times a week. Thank you!
