I looked at a different video for 5 seconds. Music I didn't like, no talking, and the video started with the TH-camr’s back to her audience. I decided to do your video instead. This has become my go to for leg day. Thank you for your videos!
I'm so happy that you enjoy doing my videos! I must admit that I don't like it when exercise videos have music instead of talking...I feel it's important to guide viewers through proper form and just generally how to do the exercise more effectively. Though I know others who hate talking and only want music! Just different preferences I guess 😉 I'll keep posting as often as I can! Enjoy your day 💛
You are very welcome. It's great to hear that you like them! I will be posting many more mini band workouts in the coming weeks. Using mini bands is one of my favourite ways to build and tone lean muscle :)
@@gosimpli Indeed my fave, too. Especially the bands r so small and convenient, I literally can do it at home n at work. Looking forward for more videos from u!
I am so sorry to hear that you can't go outside right now during this awful pandemic. We have been in and out of lockdown three times where I live and I think there will be another lockdown coming soon. Hang in there as best you can! I am happy to hear that these exercises are helping you through this difficult time. Keep up the positive attitude! I'll be thinking of you:)
Using a band is a great way to build strength, muscle, balance and mobility! They are especially helpful when recovering from injury or to prevent re-injury in a joint that may be prone to discomfort:)
@@gosimpli I have problems with my right arm/ shoulder, right knee and hip after a bad fall. I know that repeating your various exercises with help restore the strength and flexibility. Thank you.😊
I've had these mini bands for a year and didn't know how to use them, thank you, loved the workout. I am 77 years old and I have to tell you, the last stretch I couldn't do on my left leg, I got horrible pains, like a charlie horse all the way down the back of my leg, hurt much.
Oh dear, please don't do anything that hurts! Substitute in any other stretch that feels good for you...we have to listen to what our own bodies are telling us as everybody will respond differently. I have some new mini band workouts coming soon so you'll have the opportunity to use them again! I love mini bands!
You're so welcome! I am happy to hear that these exercises are working for you as you recover. By the way... I think you are amazing! I can't imagine healing from a broken femur and knee...yikes! I wish you happy healing :)
Thank you for another great workout Lara. I have been saying I week that I was going to do the Pilates Ball with my other favorite trainer but decided to do this one after loving the upper body mini loop yesterday which is now my favorite piece of equipment although maybe I should have used the cloth band for some exercises as mine was rolling up but as you say it is portable and inexpensive and I also have Arthritis in my knee which I was told was bone on bone years ago but I think my knee moved all down to my feet and the ankle rolls helped. This sure was a lot of core. I felt guilty for not doing the ball and not getting core. The name was quite deceiving. I have to go down to the floor for the next to last scissor exercise as I couldn't balance in the chair.
Yes, this workout does have a lot of hidden core work! It's actually one of the best to build strength in the core as traditional crunches, sit ups etc. are not very effective!
Awesome, I love the longer seated workouts. I can pair this with the upper body band workout and I also get to use my bands a lot more too. Thanks. I used to think arthritis was for older people too until I got diagnosed at the age of 33.
I'll keep making longer band workouts...I love them! They are a great way to strength train when you live with arthritis:) I live in a climate where it is getting colder and more damp at this time of year so my arthritis flares. With bands and seated workouts I can still enjoy being active with much less pain!
Do you think that following the seated legs workout can tone them and make a noticeable difference? I mean with no heavy weights Thank you for being so helpful and understanding that workout is not as easy for some people!
I definitely understand that working out is not easy for a lot of people! As for your question, yes this workout will make a noticeable difference in muscle tone and development. Using bands is one of the best ways to increase muscle tone and build muscle mass. Plus they can be kinder to our joints, they are much less expensive and they are very convenient to pack to take with you anywhere! You do not need heavy weights to make a noticeable difference!
You are blessings for me as I have injured my knee in December 2020 and no strength in my left leg.. I am slowly slowly getting back.. please guide me how to go about it .. MRI says that I have meniscus tear but no need for surgery.. how much time it takes?? I am 42 and was very active before..
I am happy to hear that you are slowly getting back into exercise. That is the best way to do it, especially after injury. You will need to start with little to no weight. Try doing lots of pilates style workouts where you are lying down on an exercise mat. I did this for the first time just now. I loved it although I had to adapt some to suit me as I'm too big/unfit to lift my leg weight yet. How do I know when I'm pushing myself hard enough - should my legs be burning a little? Thanks
Hi there...great question! Yes, your legs should definitely feel some burn but it shouldn't be painful. A little tremble and the feeling that you cannot complete another repetition of that same move with proper form...then stop and wait for the next exercise. With time you'll be able to complete more and more repetitions of the same move! Keep up the great work!!
Hi the last band exercise does it matter if you put the band below the knee like in your video or above the knee while sitting ..... do both work on the same set of muscles?? Thank you so much

Nice WO - if you could incorporate some posterior muscles like isolating hamstrings or glutes?
🙏😁
That's a great idea! I love how the mini band can target gluten and hamstrings.
Thank you so much for these simple exercises, which help me a lot in the pandemic situation, when we can't go outside.

We this workout take of inches
It will help to tighten and tone the lower body muscles which can change the shape of our legs and make them look leaner.
Hi the last band exercise does it matter if you put the band below the knee like in your video or above the knee while sitting .....

Yes, below the knee should work as well...just avoid placing the band right on the knee as this can cause injury to the joint.
