    Thank you so much for this great full body workout! ❤ I love the way you encouraged supporting back, abdomen, and pelvic floor while moving the other muscle groups! I enjoy your total body workouts best! Chair modified is important to me because of my mobility. Thanks so much for what you do!

      It's a different way to work the muscles around the core...one we don't think of very often!

    Thanks. The chair workouts are very good. I just don't like the repetitions of the same exercises in one workout, but I understand that it's necessary.💛

      How about I make a no repeat exercises chair workout?! Just for some variation! Repetition is important, especially for building strength, but that certainly doesn't mean that every single workout has to have lots of repetition :)

      Thank you. The greater the variety of exercise elements in a given workout the better for me personally, but you decide. It's your channel and your designs and suggestions. Once again , thanks.💛

    Love the kitty! Mine like to try to join me and I have to be careful not to bonk them in the head with the weights or my feet - I usually do these seated workouts barefoot so it’s gentler on them if they get under my feet at the wrong time.

      Oh I know...when I workout on my own I sometimes need to shut the door so I don't accidentally step on one of the kitties! It's a great idea to do seated workouts barefoot. I think I will try that myself 😀

    I love Mittens is she the sister of Boots. I love how you talk to the cats and I have never had homemade applesauce. I wouldn't know how to make it but now I am craving applesauce and need to put it on my shopping list. I love your chair workouts please continue making them. I never thought I could get a good abs workout sitting in a chair or any kind of workout in the chair and felt wimpy when the podiatrist said chair workouts only but am hoping he will allow me to do other workouts when I go see him Monday and Tuesday I will be getting my very $$$$$$ brace and am leaving my job at Taco Bell today and will be focusing on my housework and yardwork so hopefully your workouts will get me the results I want but I feel like I am working out with a friend with you and don't even have a desire to work out with the trainers with 10,000 subscribers that didn't even take the time to respond to my comments and you did even though you live in Canada and I am in Albuquerque NM.

      Yes, Mittens and Boot are sisters :) Oh... I have been to Albuquerque NM before!! It was beautiful:) Chair workouts can be very effective and though it takes some creativity you can definitely get a full body workout. I read every comment that is posted and I do my best to respond in a timely fashion. I love hearing what everyone has to say, to try and make new workouts from the suggestions I receive and to keep the positivity going, that is so inspiring from all of you!

    I started losing 120 pounds around my 60th birthday ( almost 2 months ago)and have lost 21 pounds so far.I had both knees replaced last year ,so have done mostly seated workouts.I enjoyed this seated abs with weight.I have 3 cats .the oldest,Fritzel, doesn't care at all that I do them.The 2 ( almost a year old) older kittens like to get kicked by accident,help me by adding extra weight whenever I do floor work and run between my legs when I do standing aerobics.Black and Stripey are quite helpful. 😀

    Hi Lara, hi Mittens! That was a great one, thank you, really enjoyed it. What is apple sauce? Is it like apple jelly? And what is it for?

    • @gosimpli
      @gosimpli  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm glad you liked the workout! Applesauce, in my opinion, is delicious! You remove the core from the center of the apple, chop them into bite size chunks and put them in a large pot with a bit of water. Allow them to simmer until very soft, stirring occasionally so they don't stick and burn to the bottom of the pot. Once they are very soft, you blend them until smooth! Then you let it cool and you eat it with a spoon. It is a thick puree consistency. Some people choose to add sugar but I find the apples sweet enough without! I just eat it as a side dish, or a snack :) There are lots of recipes online or I can send you mine:)

      @@gosimpli That sounds interesting! I have been looking for healthier snacks and baking options. Could you share the recipe please? Thank you :))

    I've been meaning to ask you a non workout related question for ages and I've finally remembered to do it...... can I ask what you mean by apple crisps? We don't have anything called that in the UK and I love to bake and I love apples! It took me a long time to learn what you call Graham Crackers we call digestive biscuits! xxx

    • @gosimpli
      @gosimpli  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think our (Canadian) apple crisp is quite similar to what others would call a crumble! It has a topping made of oats, butter and brown sugar. The filling is chopped apples with cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, brown sugar and a little butter. Then it is baked in the oven. It is SO delicious! It is kind of like a cobbler though here in Canada a cobbler has a biscuit topping. Does that help?

    • @sandypoole1
      @sandypoole1 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@gosimpli it really does, thank you so much. In the UK a cobbler has a scone topping. Sometimes I make crumble the traditional way and sometimes I use an oaty topping so I know what you mean now xxx
