Thank you so much for your helpful videos! 38+ now with my second pregnancy, and I am trying to go for a VBAC...first baby's heartbeat fell very low during early labor (little to no dilation, I could still rest between contractions), she was born through emergency c-section with asphyxia and an Apgar score as low as 1 but thanks God and a skillful medical team she is now a healthy and happy toddler!... Do you have any suggestions specifically for VBAC? Also, my first placenta turned out to have necrosis and I was 6 days overdue: is there anything I can do to avoid going overdue again? I hoped they would induce me on the due date but turns out they won't.
Hi! Thanks so much for your message. I am happy to hear that your daughter is doing well 😍 but I'm sorry your had a bit of a stressful time during her birth. I would watch my induce labour video series for tips to get labour started at home by yourself (you'll find them on my channel). I need to create a video on VBAC. It's on my list of videos to do 📋. It may not be ready in time for your baby's birth but this is a really helpful article which could help you:www.bellybelly.com.au/birth/vbac-tips-advice/ ❤️❤️❤️
I have written a script of positive VBAC affirmations and I will record it tomorrow. I'll send you the link when I've recorded it. Hopefully I can get the link to you by the middle of next week xxx
@@HypnobirthingWithAnja wow, thank you so much! I am astonished at how those mothers from the article you linked could stay so strong as to go for the VBAC even after being discouraged by medical staff, and I realize how lucky I am. The one who first incouraged me to try a VBAC is the very same doctor who did my cesarean, and all the rest of the hospital staff is consistently pro VBAC. HBAC is not an option here in Italy, but I wouldn't want it either. Knowing that I will have to be under constant fetal heartbeat monitoring actually reassures me, because I know that should things go bad again, they could not get so close to tragedy like the first time. Much as cesarean was a trauma for me, I am still hugely grateful and trustful to the hospital staff, obviously for saving my first baby, but also for the way they took care of us, a very human and supportive way. My confidence shook a little bit when I saw the agreement paper from the hospital, and it mentioned that with VBAC the baby has 1 in 1000 chance to die inside the womb during the last week of pregnancy. What does that mean? Is that something that holds true for any pregnancy? It seems a really high number to me. Or is it a subtle, untold way to encourage women to opt for the scheduled c-section at 39 weeks?
@@ELisa-qf2mw those stats for VBAC babies do seem high. I do not know any VBAC statistics so I can't explain them unfortunately. I would like to know where the results came from and what studies were actually carried out or whether it's just calculated risk and not based on any real life events. I would ask someone about it if it is worrying you. On a happy note, I am really happy that you are well supported in Italy and that your care teams have been good when you had your daughter and now with your second baby. I am sure you can have a really calm and joyful vaginal birth this time. I will get the affirmations to you next week as soon as I've been able to record them for you ❤️

All women that I know have some anxiety over birth between late second and early third trimester. This anxiety gets gradually lower, as you progress, also because it becomes quite exhausting and uncomfortable. You can do birth, you are most likely very well build and equipped for that.
Thanks for your videos 😊 I'm 35 weeks and my thighs, pelvis, lower back (and feet and hands) really really hurt. I try to do some yoga stretches and they help sometimes but not all times. I dont walk much as it hurts so much, but everyone recommends lots of walking to help during labour. Any advice? I don't know what to do (walk through the pain & take paracetamol?).
In Sri Lankan government hospitals they didn’t even let me to get down from the bed. Didn’t gave me water, didn’t let me to pee even I wanted to pee several times, no walks nothing. It was a toucher. But I’ve given birth within 4 hours masha allah.
You must have had to be very strong to deal with this in Sri Lanka. Sorry that they don't respect your rights when giving birth. I'm glad that your labour was only 4 hours so you didn't have to be in the hospital for a long time 💕
I find these videos funny because the first time once the big contractions kicked in and lasted 10 hours I could barely move. I hope next one is easier and I can try this. Still love your videos.
I would do what the doctor is advising you to do right now as you don't want to give birth prematurely if possible. This video is about how to dilate faster in labour so the tips in this video should only be used for labour that starts around your due date 💕
I have short cervix every pregnancy I can not stand more than 10 minutes little actives until I reach 36 weeks and one of my child came at 32 weeks. So you are almost there just listen to your Dr's advice
Very informative video. Kindly explain what you meant by back-to-face-front sitting position in the toilet. I hope i got that right. Thanks all the same.
I will be induced at 37 weeks. I'm terrified the labor will be long. My first was only 4 hrs long. I want to hold off on the epideral because I want to be able to do this things. What do you suggest? I'll speak to my Healthcare team as well.
Hi Ludim, thanks for your question. You may have a short induction as your body has muscle memory from your previous labour so it is likely to not be a long labour this time. Usually you can have an epidural up to 8cm dilated so there are lots of things you can do before that. Also, ask your care team if they can offer you a mobile/walking epidural (or a low dose epidural). That means your legs will not be completely numb and you can still move about. If you do have a full dose epidural, try to lie on your side semi reclined, rather than on your back as that can help you have a smoother, easier birth. Hope that helps 💓
I can't be sure what it is. It could be Braxton Hicks contractions which is your womb having practice contractions (getting ready for labour). If you are worried or not sure what is happening in your body, please see a doctor and discuss it with them. ❤️👍
@@Fatima-qx6uw it's ok! If you ever need me or hand any a question about pregnancy or birth, please let me know and I'll reply as soon as I can. Is this your first baby? Where will you be giving birth? 💝
@@HypnobirthingWithAnja Thank u so much. It's my 2nd pregnancy. I live in Germany. It will be a water birth if things go all normal. 15 minutes ago I was sleeping and suddenly feel that I peed a little bit and a tiny bit of blood I have also noticed . Is my water broke?
@@Fatima-qx6uw hi honey, I would get checked in the hospital. Your waters may be leaking. There may be a slight tear in the amniotic sac. Get checked just to be safe ❤️
I’m due January 21st but I’ve been getting mild contractions and 5cm dilated. I went to ER but doctor wasn’t willing to keep me so hoping this works 🙏🏼
Hi honey, good luck with your labour. 💕 Why didn't you go to the birth centre or the labour ward. I'm just thinking, if you're 5cm dilated already, that is usually enough to be admitted to give birth. Anyway, sending you love and hope the birth goes well ❤️
@@HypnobirthingWithAnja it’s because I’m in early labor I wasn’t showing enough symptoms or pain to be admitted even though I did explain to them my pain concerns even the social worker was confused on why they didn’t keep me. When my mom had my sister they kept her and she was only 3cm and contracting every 8 minutes and was in labor 19 hours. I guess it all depends on hospitals everywhere is different.
Makes sence why i didnt dilate for hours on end.. my babys head was larger than normal (gestational diabetes) so he didnt come down until i was with the help of oxytocin 10cm dilated. So his head didnt really help me dilate.
Why is my contractions so painful that even urinating become a problem.... I urinate but still my bladder feels like it's still full 😓 what might be the problem...my pregnancy is at 38wks
Hi Grace, I'm not sure why urinating is painful for you. You may have an infection in your bladder or a urinary tract infection. I would go to see a doctor for help and explain what is happening. 💓
It depends. If your waters break before labour starts or they break before 37 weeks of pregnancy or there is any green or brown discharge in your waters you should go to the hospital as soon as possible. During labour, if your waters break you need to be monitoring your contractions and go in when you think you can't manage at home anymore. Usually this is when your contractions are about 3-4 minutes apart and lasting about a minute. X

Thank you for this informative video.! I have a question for you, I am pregnant for the second time, but with my first child, during labour I was vomiting so much, that really hindered me from doing anything else to relax during labour. I really wish I could avoid that from happening with my second Labour, do you have any tips for this? And no, I did not eat anything 6 hours prior to labour...
Hi! Thanks for your question. Many women are sick during labour because they don't eat or drink enough before or during labour. So, it's really important, that when labour starts, you are drinking little and often but also eating small snacks as well. Little bites of food and sips of drinks is so important. That can actually stop you from vomiting. It's also important to focus on slow breathing if you do feel sick or are sick again this time. Hopefully you won't be but slow breathing stops your body getting stressed and can lower adrenaline in your blood stream (panic, stress and adrenaline can all increase feelings of sickness so you need to avoid this). Hope that helps ❤️
@@HypnobirthingWithAnja My name is Nurdzhan (Nuri for short). I really hope to be better prepared this time. ☺️ I will get informed and watch as much as videos etc... But giving birth in Eastern European countries is another challenge, things in the hospitals are different than in other countries... Women are really not given enough support by the medical team
@@inspiredbygod4791 Hi Nuri! I love your name 💕 😍 What country are you from? I'm sorry to hear that in your country the care teams in the hospitals are not very supportive. It's really up to your partner to advocate for you and demand that your needs are attended to. Was your partner with you when you gave birth last time?
Just stay positive. Your baby will come when he or she is ready. Try to enjoy the final days of your pregnancy. Rest, go for walks, listen to hypnobirthing meditations. It won't be long until your baby arrives ❤️
Hi! You can only find out how dilated you are by having a vaginal examination. But in labour, sometimes you can figure it out by how often your contractions are coming. 💕
These seem to be really useful. Hope I get to use these tricks as I'm heading for some complications. I am 36 weeks pregnant but my amniotic fluid is less (8cm) and baby's growth is also lagging behind by 2 weeks. Will I be able to have a normal delivery? How should I increase my amniotic fluid?

Have had preterm death of twins at 26 weeks (previous pregnancy )so I have been on home bed rest since I HV been preg and with dis preg have had threatening miscarriage 5times. Please help mummies and stay blessed🙏
38 weeks+ now, and having a lower back pain that I can barely walk, and the baby don't really move much this time, also have like yellow discharge, and the tightening of my stomach is more often... Is it a sign of labor?
It could be a sign of labour but I am not 100% sure. I am a bit concerned about the yellow discharge. Does it smell? I am just wondering if you have an infection. It may be your mucus plug but again I am not sure. You may be experiencing back pain because you are experiencing back labour and because your baby is in a back-to-back position. I would advise you to see your doctor as soon as possible to see what is going on and to ensure that you and baby are both ok.
As long as you feel well, 45 minutes is a good amount of time to walk. Not too fast. Just moderately paced. Gravity will pull your baby down onto your cervix and that can help encourage labour to start. ❤️
@@najwaomar5119 walking everyday in pregnancy is good for you anyway but especially when you are in the 3rd trimester. It helps to get your baby into the best head down position and it will help to encourage cervical dilation to start when the time is right. It's good to relax but don't sit down all day. That's really bad for blood circulation and it won't help with baby positioning or helping labour to start 💕
My labor is in off, after check up 2days ago the doctor said have dilated 2cm and until now no change .I came back to the house but still having the pain.your advice please, should I wait until water brokage so that I go?am confused
Your waters can break at any point in labour and it can't indicate how dilated you are. How often are your contractions coming? I would advise going for a walk if you can and going up and down stairs to see if that helps things progress. Make sure you are trying to rest at night though. I don't want you to get too tired. You may be having prodromal labour which is stop start contractions before labour fully begins. 💕
@@HypnobirthingWithAnja thanks for answering me.after like 30mins daytime but at night it can take even two hours before I feel it.and how about doing yoga exercises that I see here on utube rather than walking about?

Wow such cool advice, wish I had seen this 7 months ago! Your natural induction meditation broke my waters but a 2 day labour ended in a c section and trying to see what to do different next time. I read about nipple stimulation in the Ina May Gaskin book but couldn't find any instructions on how to do it!
I also had a catheter put in from not going to toilet enough so wish I had tried sitting backwards on it!

28 weeks running ,im so scare to give birth to a child😢😢😢 i cant convince my mind , please give some advice😔
All women that I know have some anxiety over birth between late second and early third trimester. This anxiety gets gradually lower, as you progress, also because it becomes quite exhausting and uncomfortable. You can do birth, you are most likely very well build and equipped for that.

I'm 35 weeks and my thighs, pelvis, lower back (and feet and hands) really really hurt. I try to do some yoga stretches and they help sometimes but not all times.
I dont walk much as it hurts so much, but everyone recommends lots of walking to help during labour. Any advice? I don't know what to do (walk through the pain & take paracetamol?).
Sorry you are in such pain! Have you tried any birth ball exercises? I wouldn't want you to have to walk about if it hurts too much. 💕
I will try this hopefully it works for me thank you 🥺🥺🥺 I’ll update after I give birth and let you know how it went thank you !

How was it

You must have had to be very strong to deal with this in Sri Lanka. Sorry that they don't respect your rights when giving birth. I'm glad that your labour was only 4 hours so you didn't have to be in the hospital for a long time 💕

Have been feeling pains in my belly for three days now and am 37 weeks pregnant does it mean am in labour or is it just a normal pain
I can't be sure what it is. It could be Braxton Hicks contractions which is your womb having practice contractions (getting ready for labour). If you are worried or not sure what is happening in your body, please see a doctor and discuss it with them. ❤️👍
Starting which week or month shall I start practising these?
Am 38weeks and some days but I was told has not turn. What do I do.

Please am in 37weeks am feeling little contractions but i saw little watery discharge
When should you go to the hospital after water breaks

Iam 36 week pregnant how will I know whether my cervix is open or how much I dilated please reply

9month now give some tip preves v section 3 now normal delivery can happen
Can I have a natural birth by 37 weeks
Yes you can but your baby may not be ready to be born at 37 weeks. Why do you ask?
Thank you❤
You're welcome 🤗😁
Hi, how long should u walk everyday?
As long as you feel well, 45 minutes is a good amount of time to walk. Not too fast. Just moderately paced. Gravity will pull your baby down onto your cervix and that can help encourage labour to start. ❤️
@@HypnobirthingWithAnja when should i start to walk?
@@najwaomar5119 walking everyday in pregnancy is good for you anyway but especially when you are in the 3rd trimester. It helps to get your baby into the best head down position and it will help to encourage cervical dilation to start when the time is right. It's good to relax but don't sit down all day. That's really bad for blood circulation and it won't help with baby positioning or helping labour to start 💕
Plenty of cold or hot water??
Room temperature water. Neither hot or cold. ❤️
