- Ready or Not has a good assortment of weapons to choose from. But what if there were more? By downloading the Sniper or Not mod, you can have access to quite a few more guns. In this video, will be going over all of them, and how they stack up against the guns you get by default.

I used only m249(FN Minimi variant) in SWAT 4. Imagine whole squad with those, they(hostages, suspects) don't have any chance!
Ah yes, the classic Ruski weapon of choice in CQC.
Peak CQB performance
@@civilianuseonly w to the cod mw2 music
Considering the strength of enemy forces on some maps, I would use the LMGs very often.
@@NinjaKatzKool Also cod4, bo1, bo2, mw3, and tarkov
Honestly it would be fun if the devs actually readded some of these guns back into the game, namely the 2011, P99, M14's, G3, FAL, Saiga and AKs. They fit in with the game's atmosphere and it would just be fun to add more variety to the three million different flavors of AR15's in the current roster.
yeah. plus it would also suit the LARPers out there that wanna have a vintage SWAT look.
To be honest even the other guns that feel out of place like the mpl, lmgs, g18, m76, m16 and remington 700 should be added because they add variety to the gameplay
Weapon choices for law enforcement officers must be limited because of standardization but if official DLCs, unofficial mods or anything will include stories for bounty hunters, hitmen, gang enforcers etc they should be able to use whatever they want.
I think in old old trailers part of the concept was your precinct being particularly poorly funded so you'd have been using old surplus instead of gallivanting around with NVGs that cost more than a new car.
That's because they are in game, it's on the side of bad guys
Speaking of LMGs in law enforcement the LAPD has two M60s in their inventory. They are meant for a Mumbai type situation.
What is a "Mumbai type situation"? Was there a hostage crisis or something?
@@cowmeatius7151 Presumably the 2008 Mumbai Terrorist attacks.
FBI HRT during the 1980s also had M60e3 (see the their 1985 presentation, it includes a M79). I do recall m60s in few other SWAT teams during the 80s, but it's a blur, tbh.
GIGN (CT) are also seen using a FN Minimi para a few years back recently during the Charlie Hebdo shooting.
Terrorist: “why am I hearing fortunate son emitting from that SWAT van?”
@@cowmeatius7151 in 2008 a group of around 10 men with ak47's with commando training attacked mumbai, killing a bunch of civilian (i forget the full details btw)
The M249 is there so you can pretend to roll up and bulldoze the Payday Gang as a Skulldozer
Heavy armor, Steel Plates, and Ballistic Facemask, haha.
You're up against a wall, and I am the fucking wall!
Oh man, i haven't seen an MLG meme compilation in forever. This gave me flashbacks
Still hoping they make a comeback
Every time you feel a weapons is overkill and is making the game unrealistic, remember: the Brazilian B.O.P.E. used that gun at some point, is using it or would use it if they had the money to buy it
B.O.P.E. rolling up with an M249 probably makes perps shit their pants
And remember that Russia used thermobaric rocket launchers in a hostage rescue mission.
@@TuulosAnd the IDF uses M270 MLRS in a hostage rescue mission.
@@Tuuloswhile China's making stuff like a double barreled thermobaric rocket launcher (FJH-84) and sniper grenade launcher (QLU-11)
Pretty sure that they still use Madsen LMGs, they will use anything and everything they can get their hands on.
Do LMG have any place in law enforcement?
Brazilian cops: sim senhor!
I like how the music changes to the Escape from Tarkov OST when the AK-103 is on.
The music also changes to the Goldeneye reloaded theme on the Walther P99 section
@@romanbellic9580 good find, makes the video even better
And during the Remington M700 section “Archimedes” from the Team Fortress 2 soundtrack plays!
it also changes to "Exfiltration" when he begins talking about the saiga-12
changes to battlefield vietnam main menu when he talks about the m76, and also cod black ops 1 ost when he talks about the rpd
Funny thing about Germany and the FAL was West Germany actually had quite a few G1 FALs and intended to adopt it and thus asked Belgium for domestic licensing to produce it. However, thanks to two little funny incidents otherwise considered "World Wars" in which Belgium was the world's largest speedbump, somehow Belgium wasn't keen on granting Germany that and thus the G3 was born.
Most of those guns (like the 'ksk'/saiga-12 and RPK) were for the PvP mode that was initially included upon it's initial EA release.
iirc, the pvp mode is still in the game's files, and can be activated thought some work.
The G3 is the single unreleased gun that I seriously want to be officially added
Mk-14
I think they should all be officially added “but muh realism” don’t use them. “Police don’t have them irl.” Ok, don’t use them. “the precinct is poorly funded.” No it isn’t. Look at it, that is NOT poorly funded, that is peak California police funding right there

I was also one of the 5 people to play goldeneye on the wii. Using the Walther P99 was a stroke of genius for Bronson’s run as James Bond, as far as iconic designs the PPK is hard to top but I think the P99 is the closest you can get to that same cool factor whilst being more modern and imposing.

Fun fact:
The main reason suspects have such strange guns carries over from the original vision of the game being a Noire story set in modern day.
To clarify: This answer comes directly from a dev interview. It's likely it would've had something to do with the MLO, but it now sounds like the MLO's actual appearance is relegated to Expansion 2 in the summer.
I don't follow? Is it normal to have antagonists with weird weapons in these types of noire stories?
@@usario That was the idea at the time. The wording in my comment is the exact explanation from a developer AMA.
@WideChungus I always thought that unique weapons were artistic liberties. That could be explained away by the fact that it's an alternate universe or whatnot.
The Devs are also a fans of a niche Gacha game with humanised weapons as guns like the Hk416 shares the exact handguard, grip and so on with the one in the gacha game. also guns like the calico play a role in said. And again some weapon in RoN got "serial numbers" on them referencing the characters in the gacha. .
@chechenfeels4101 you're having a laugh right? That's amazing
They took muh M32 Flash!
Sure, it's ammo was bugged to where you could only carry the loaded 6 nades with no reloads, but that's still 6 extra flashbangs at one slot cost!
patterson, fire a warning shot.
sir, this is an m32 grenade launc-
ah, potato potato. fire It patterson.
*thunk*
Giving that monster to all of your AI squadmates was a sight to behold... as long as you could see it for that is. They'd dump all 6 rounds like it was a rifle, and when you could see again. There was a suspect on the floor with eleven-itis.
i suspect that these weapons exist mostly for the criminals use, and not intended for player use.
Yeah, check if the rain is still wet

Turkish PÖH (Police Special Operations) use LMG's like FN Minimi and M60. But PÖH is not a force restricted to urban operations. They deploy to mountains etc to fight against terrorists. But the LMG's are sometimes used in urban setting as well. Especially 2015-2016 Hendek "Trench, Ditch" Operations when terrorists dug up ditches and trenches and tried to capture some districts from Turkiye. Because of its unique positions they are probably the most heavily armed SWAT unit in the world. They even have T-129 helicopters and armed UAV's at their arsenal.
AR18 is for sure in the game because of its legendary status in Ireland as the rifle of freedom fighters. My Little Armalite is about the AR18. American companies have recently began reproducing modernized version like the Brownells BRN180 or the Badger Arsenal BA-18 or "Bearna Bhaoil 18" Its also a shame that the Mini-14 didnt see a release, as its a very popular rifle of early American SWAT operators, as well as a popular patrol rifle for many rural departments.
I was thinking is it about that is it really the ar18 they are sinning about?
@@painapple7857 they always called the AR18 the Armalite rifle despite Armalite not being its manufacturer but it’s designer. It was actually made by a British company who contracted the gun. So the Brit’s made the gun that was a big boost for the IRA’s combat Lethality. Mysteriously IRA snipers had the Barrett M85 before most militaries knew it existed lol. So to say American’s and American company’s support the Irish fight for Independence was always there, Especially Irish Americans. Armalite even used the song “My little Armalite” to help sell weapons when they heard about how their unknown gun was becoming legendary.
"freedom fighters" lol.... that's a funny one

I didn't think I could love your content more than I do now, but Hotline Miami music raised the bar.
Using the Weapon Unlocker mod from before the big 1.0 update my favorite experience was chucking an M67 frag into a room, only for it to casually roll back through the door and blow my partner to pieces - and save me in the process. He was quite distraught, though thought it was just a suspect that wall-banged him so I was able to get away with it fairly easily.

Howdy, howdy! I'm doing well I'd say, and hopefully you're doing the same!
I was literally about to comment to " 'No military has ever adopted the AR-18 as a standard service rifle.' Accurate statement; depending on your views about the IRA 🤣" and you once again demonstrated your great knowledge on stuff like this. Great video 👍
Okay, I also enjoyed the M249 montage at the end. You saved the best for last.
1:57 guilty, i have two 1911’s and carry a Beretta in a shoulder holster.
The s&w 76 is the only gun I’ve ever had an out-of-battery detonation with. Luckily the magazine didn’t get completely blown out of the gun, just got some marks around my hand instead of pieces of shredded casing. Also the round had just enough power to make it down the barrel and stopped sticking out of the muzzle.
Scary stuff
man I'd bet money that some of these are planned to be added later. It'd be crazy if we got a viable sniper role too
Not really. They are suspect weapons in the current game and the M700 was from an old trailer and meant to be for the cut snipers like SWAT 4 had. That's why they are unfinished, it's used by NPCs.
Always a good day when you upload!
For the RPD, apparently DSArms, the company manufacturing the SA-58, also produces a modernized version of it with a quad-rail handguard. Also you seem not to mention the fact that it was produced first in 1944.
Love how you started playing golden eye music while talking a bout walther and I was another one of the 10 people who played golden eye on the Wii, had to lovethe controllers as well. Loved the vid keep up the great content.
In Ready or Not’s pre-alpha release, the UMP-45 had the ability to remove the stock (which just folded it) as an attachment option.
Hearing BF Vietnam into music first time for a very long time gave me nice nostalgia goos bumps. Thanks mate!
9:03 that MW music hit just right😩😩😩
I adore the fitting music whenever you switch the guns. For example if you talk about the AK platform you used Prepare for Escape from EFT.
Delta Force didn't use the MPL, but Det A - Berlin did, and the photos people point to as being Delta using the MPL actually depict Det A.
They were used in Operation Eagle Claw ('80)
Thank you for using the BF Vietnam main menu music! what a blast of nostalgia!
Love the ending edit, good vid
To be honest, I would have been much happier if all these guns were actually added in the game
10:26 yes Magpul doesn't make a 35 round magazine but aftermarket companies DO make +5 extended baseplates for 30rd PMAGs, most notably Taran Tactical and Centurion Arms

the inclusion of the tarkov music when you started talking about the AK is hilarious to me, good touch lol

The tarkov music when looking at the ak 101/2 very fitting 😊
god damn i didnt want to subscribe, but after so many good videos i have to watch em all
Im now convinced that the real LAPD SWAT should be allowed to own RPDs
the RPD is also unique in that it spits the belt links from the side and bottom ejects the cartridge.
Fal my beloved you were so close yet so far
Bro the og mw3 theme in the background is just nostalgic and awesome for this video
I think the presence of alot of 60s, 70s, and 80s guns helps sell the unique experience, and immerse the player in Ready Or Not's wierd little alt-history timeline.
The MPL was also seen in some pre-release artwork being used by SWAT, for some reason.
lmao i just realised you put in the Goldeneye 007 Reloaded song while covering the p99
bro youve got no clue how hard that nostalgia hit when u mentioned the Wii Goldeneye remake. and then when the menu music started playing ughhhh anyways great video
You actually did make a video on these unreleased guns nice
Man good to see I’m not the only one that loved golden eye on Wii played the hell out of that game
Ayyyyy Golden Eye on the wii was actually fun as hell. I must have replayed the whole campaign over 50 times.
Gotta love that outro :D When criminals think the police is going to come with beanbags and see an officer in heavy armor and SAW: "Oh dog..."
Adding the HK51 or just the G3 to RON would be very cool imo. I presume some of these weapons including stuff like the M16 and 2011 among others will probably be added down the road.
(an HK21 or even HK51B would also be really cool additions)
(the inclusion of TF2 music also just makes me very happy)
if they can double as flashbangs it would be the only gun I would use at that point ^^
Love that you used the Battlefield Vietnam version of White Rabbit
Thank you for bringing me back to 2013
249 light when you dont have to Ruck with it for 20+ Miles 😭
I played that on the wii Golden eye I'm so glad you reminded me of that! Oh what I'd do to go back
I was one of the other four people who played the GoldenEye Wii remake, I loved it because it was one of the only non-railed FPS games for Wii
Also it should be noted that the SIG MCX platform of guns are more akin to AR-18s than AR-15s, they just have a T charging handle for manual of arms' sake. In fact, aside from the T handle, the MCX Spear is basically just an AR18 chambered in a fancy boutique caliber. So why we have never adopted the literal AR-18, we have adopted descendants of it in a few instances. The SIG MCX Virtus and Rattler are rather positively received by many spec-ops groups. Conversely, other well known weapons such as the G36, SCAR, ACR and SA80/L85 are also modified AR-18s. The AR-18 in many ways is just as widespread as the AR-15, albeit through successors and descendants rather than direct modernizations like in the case with the AR-15.
25:21 "Let me see those hands" lmao
I'm no guns expert but afaik there is one more benefit to bolt action sniper rifles over semi-autos which is, due to the fact they have less parts required to operate, they also weigh significantly less which is probably the biggest reason to use them over semi autos, at least in a military application.
This obviously exactly isn't the same as SWAT application, but I thought it's significant enough to point out.
im one of the 5 people who played Golden Eye on Wii too, i felt so loved rn
27:32 I also like that the M249 is based off the FN-Minimi
Here seen on 27:33 is a C9A1. Basically the Canadian copy of the Minimi but making it modern by adding a picatinny rail on top for the standard Canadian C79 ELCAN optic (For American viewers, the C79 is VERY different from the M145. Being a standard sight for rifles and lmgs and has a better reticle. The M145 is solely a machine gun sight) The C9 is more closely related to the traditional minimi, while the M249 has modernized over the years. As the Canadians prefer the traditional looks.
The C9A1s were fully replaced in the mid 2000s with the C9A2, having a collapsible stock and 2 rails at the front of the handguards. The reserves had the A1s a bit longer until around 2010s
Suspect guns should’ve been unlockables. They look so fun.
I like how they didn't update and add back most of these. But we do get 13 different ar's that are all the same
Would be fun if RON introduced actual SWAT Sniper gameplay into the game. Expand the map a little to allow one Sniper player to take position, and support the rest of the operatives.
I love that you used black ops 2 music in the background
hotline miami soundtrack noticed in the intro, nice
Speaking of the G18C, have you noticed how different in style the whole reloading animation was? If anything it reminded me of Pistol Reloads from COD4. The early pre-alpha(?) stuff from the PVP stuff was wild, man.
5:33 You are not the only one! I had almost all of the James Bond games on the Wii (All two of them I believe lol, QoS and Goldeneye Reloaded) and I enjoyed them. I've been really meaning to replay some of them on a better platform but haven't gotten around to it.
The P250 pistol is fun to use as well and the simunition versions of the M4 and G19 👍
4:23 Dude saw a wave of bullets and decided to give up after he heard you reload

25:19 "lemme see those hands!"

"Remember, no suspects"
The MPL wasn't knocked out of the market but the MP5 initially but by the Uzi.
The Uzi knocked the MPL out for just being easier to conceal and in a weird sense, easier to shoot thus many enforcement agencies switched to the Uzi. CIA and Delta at one point used the MPL too but when the Uzi hits, it became a sensation. Due to it's compact size, it could be stuffed in coats, briefcases, anywhere you can think of which made covert operations way easier and the accuracy on the weapon wasn't a slouch. When the Micro-Uzi came into the markets, it totally made the MPL obsolete as it's even more compact and made concealment even easier. The Uzi was soo small and easy to fire with one hand that many protection units for VIPs used them like the Italian Carabinieri as the SOCIMI Type-821 beside their Beretta M12, the US Secret Service who ironically flashed it out during Reagan's assassination attempt, Special Protection Group or SPG of India and many other various organizations.
Yes, the MP5 became the final straw that broke the camel's back on the MPL but the MPL already lost traction when the Uzi kicked into production.
I only know about the P99 through MW3. Was a fun pistol to use!
7:12 *you cant sneak the Battlefield Vietnam menu music from me.* i see you homie.
0:19 that saiga blew his hair clean off lol
Bro once I heard the goldeneye music so much memories came back, I used to play that game a lot on the PS3 since at the time I wasn’t allowed to play COD by my parents so I used to invite friends over and PVP each other. It was so much fun, loved the P99 in the game.

10:23 Magpul sells +5 magazine extension baseplates for PMAGS
i love your close to detail about guns that did not make it on the game, and their history, you're a true american (if ykyk)
Wow. Never expected to see a wii goldeneye reference. Such a suprisingly good game.
The G3 in the green is verrry niceee.

IRL I carry my 2011 whenever possible, and its a 10MM Auto one with those fun to use 16 round mags
man the songs by geneburn is such great background music
So with the m4a1 most likely that they are implementing a +5 magazine base for guns since in duty you can’t use extended magazines due to court worries. I know I can’t in the security industry since they’ll look at it as intent for more harm than deterring trouble. So in the eyes of the court where I’m at, they see magazine base plates as just that- a base plate.
