- Are you tired of Ready or Not's weapons? With the power of mods, you can add essentially whatever you want. In this video, I'll be going over some of my favourite gun mods, and why I like them.
And no, they're not all shotguns

The soundtrack is just too good
Suppressors do NOT decrease bullet velocity. In fact, they usually INCREASE velocity. Their main function is to capture gasses. If you want your bullet to be subsonic, you use a higher grain bullet. In 9mm's case, thats likely a 147gr. NATO standard 9mm is 124gr and travels around 1100fps in most handguns which is right around where it breaks the sound barrier.
On the MP5SD in particular, the barrel was drilled with holes immediately in front of the chamber to bleed off combustion gases and reduce the muzzle velocity below the speed of sound. Which is why it works with supersonic ammo. The suppressor itself has absolutely nothing to do with the reduction in velocity.

It would've made more sense to just wholesale adopt the AK-100 series (namely the 103, 104, and 105) and keep the AK-74M. The AK-12, along with pretty much the entirety of the Ratnik program, has only turned out to be yet another overly expensive attempt at modernization by Russia. Russia is still stuck in the 90s and is only just barely starting to catch up with the 2022 onset of the Russo-Ukrainain war. The usage of drones has been the only major technological leap I've seen Russia make in a long time, mainly their domestically produced drones (i.e. Orlan-10, Lancet) and the Iranian produced Shahed-136/Geranium-2.

Honestly didn't expect such unique guns with these mods, definitely gonna reinstall to try some out!
Staccato P used in the mod is the legacy Staccato P(2019) which featured a 4.15in barrel and full length dust cover.
The new generation of staccato has a 4.25in barrel and 3/4 length dust cover. Staccato the company focused on magazine reliability and building tolerances that were fit to function in adverse conditions. Where as the legacy guns were semi custom guns and the magazine pattern hadn’t been standardized yet, leading to reliability problems.
Your synopsis of it is on point tho, great videos.
Some of the best mods I’ve used was replicating Delta Force's HK416 or changing MK2 rifle into real BCM Markings on it. But never knew there was a VHS-2 in mods. I'll try it when I'm in vacation! Thanks for the recommendation

The funniest part with the AK12 for me, is a lot of the guys I’ve seen from Ukraine that have used it from both sides have praised it and said it’s better than the 74. And if they prefer it, fair play to them, they’re using it in field.

@@civilianuseonly hilariously the most high profile person I saw speak about it, from the soldiery I mean, was a Ukrainian guy who said something like “people say it doesn’t hold zero but it’s been okay for me” which would indicate it could be a case by case basis, or they fixed it at some point.
@@quimble2177 Who knows. Maybe it's like PSA rifles, where users SWEAR they're fantastic but then ask ANY gunsmith or FFL dealer and they will say say how so much more often they need to send back PSA's than other rifles.
All in the luck of the draw if you got a good rifle or not perhaps. 🤷♂️

Hey mate, thanks for another interesting video about gun mods. Would you please make an in-depth video about every single mission's lore and thorough investigation? It of course doesn't have to all be in one video, but I guess many people would be interested since almost no one does a thorough walkthrough and lore investigations.
i love the AK12 too. its my 1st picked gun in codm before and lvled it up to max and never touched any rifle in the game.
You guys should definitely check out Ballistique's mods, they are probably the most well made gun mods for Ready or not. In fact Ballistique made the VHS2 aka springfield Hellion from this video

And they have an actual selector stop, polymer handguards are now aluminum, bunch of improvements rolled out. Should be okay ish now

Personally my favorite 2 weapon mods are the sig P320 that has the comp on it replacing the sig pistol in vanilla, and the MDR-X replacing the F90

The VHS2 (well hellian) irl is pretty great
I wish they’d add a SPAS-12 mod where you can switch between pump and auto, so you can use less lethal and buckshot at the same time. That’s why it had the dual action in the first place.
Honestly a KSG would be a better choice for swapping between lethal and less lethal. "You can have buckshot in the right tube, and dragon's breath in the left... because you can't enforce the Geneva Conventions when you're on fire."

I think suppressors have only ever been about reducing gas expansion and noise not reducing bullet velocity
I like the prototype version of the AK12.
Its like the newer and more modernized version of the AK pattern rifle.
Until a few years later when they show it again at a gun show, I was like: Who the fuck is this?
Like, what the hell?
What did they do to ma boi?
Apparently, they say its too expensive, unreliable, and a lot of soldiers preferred the older AKs until they reveal the new and improve AK12.
And I was like: That dose not add up, chief.
I got to shoot a Springfield Hellion (civilian version) and it's grouping is really impressive.
Starting the vid with a VHS 2 and Helldivers music is a 10/10 decision

Gunfighter mod also put back the M4A1 in next to the MK18. The L119A2 mod used to work over that one again aswell, pre 1.0.
Hope this can be achieved again.
And about the AK12, 2 burst - I've seen it painfully work well on 2 Ukranian soldiers who both got 2 tapped in their heads =(.

Its a game limitation. You cannot add weapons to the game right now.

Personally, my favorite weapon would have to be the AK12 and the AK15. Basically the same thing as the AK12, but Fires. bigger bullet. This is real, by the way, look it up. But in my opinion if I would have to pick, I would prefer the AK15A bit more than the AK12.

From what I've heard, KC have made an updated version of the AK12 with a new, reinforced handguard that insulates heat better. The dust cover now attached via a cross pin instead of a rotating lever which should hold zero better. The selector had been modified and the 2-burst feature had been removed, and as far as I know the AK12/23 edition is still undergoing testing.
In a way the current iteration of the AK12 is a lot like Battlefield 2042: Huge potential but came out rather unpolished, unfinished and needed more time in the oven before it should've came out.
Will be interesting to see how the new versions turn out

Really wish there was more gun sound variety in RoN, that's one thing I've really being wanting from the modding scene, but I guess it's difficult to do in this game as I haven't seen any custom gun sonuds. A lot of the guns sound the same and the modded guns just re-use the vanilla gun sounds, so it kinda gets stale sometimes.
The MP5SD6 mod sounds unsuppressed while stock? Half-Life 1 moment.

So the Aussies tested the Aug vs M16 and the Aug won. Therefore how the F90 can be worse than a VHS2 boggles the mind. Yes, it looks better, slightly.

The AUG "won" but if you look at the documents surrounding it you'll notice that the documented failures of the m16 are wholly inconsistent with the failures experienced by all the other nations who have tested it. The AUG, on the other hand, performed unrealistically better according to their tests. The real reason the AUG was adopted was because colt wouldn't allow the aussies to produce the m16 in Australia. It's actually a very good reason, in reality the two have extremely similar performance in reliability and the m16 is slightly more accurate.

TTI Dracarys Gen-12 Shotgun is a ton of fun. But on auto setting it almost feels like cheating.
As a Staccato owner IRL, I wish they added a proper 2011 into the base game (that also doesn't use a lame rear sight optic mount). I get having the Kimber as LAPD SWAT used them but did we really need two 1911s in .45ACP?
I also wish they didn't add the aftermarket buffer tube adaptor and rail extension to the Scar 16/MK16. The Ugg boot stock grew on me and is iconic to the gun's look (like the G36 not having the top rail).

Full length rifle rounds aren't suitable for most CQC situations, which is what Ready or Not's map mostly consist
