Thank you so much for this video. I have been suffering with a severe form of Hammer & claw Toes for many years. Now I feel like there is finally a solution.
I have a partially amputated big toe. Now my second toe is doing all the work and curling down and slightly pulling on nail. dr put a similar wrap with pad. doesn't seem to be doing anything but make me feel like I'm walking on a hump. I was hoping for a more permanent solution. we'll see what happens. actually quite uncomfortable walking on the pad
That orthodic also has a narrow toebox. She got in this position because of narrow toe vox shoes. Treating any other symptom skips over the root cause.
Messaged on the exerted compartment syndrome. Im experiencing . Your video / test summed up exactly my issues and im even wondering myself why orthapedic aint done exerted tests for me all way to college i limped and sat on walls or stopped the more i go worse calves get and pressure. A mri thinks its bilateral superfical compartment synrome. My muscles are large. I did have bad astma i was on something i was only 5ft tall and eventually a growth spout to 5.7ft. My Calves were always big at school socka wouldnt fit me and more noticeable in classes to other lads ..i dont know what went wrong as grew but as i hit 17 18 year old the more walked worse legs got.. i did have a back fall on the stairs which winded me fell on my spine. Didnt get scans my mam would throw me pack ice peas and that was solution.. I have at night calve trouble seeking if its rls or related but twiching trying to cramp for gd 1hour-4hours about 4 times a week i am on muscle relaxors now and its best sleep ever but walking it hasnt helped with my calve issue. I would love to stay on muscle relaxors but may need another form medication. I have been self managing round jobs by limiting exertion much as possible working for my dads business as qualfied plasterer masked lot of my issue as vans to house shorted exertion trips..but your video i felt like saying to orthapedics.. why is my exerted issue taken all these years to fall on deaf ears? Ive told 4 men exact signs symptoms and baffled them a bit i understand for sure its complex issue but rested checked no issue rested ive said for ages exerted got issue i thought there would know to recheck me after exertion same tests.. simple task to walk round hospital or carpark and expose issue for itself massively my calves swell more go same as in video cold feet and like cartire trying pop exactly what feels like i just keep suffering.. Its tiring sitting on peoples walls .i even order food in like im a pensioner isnt good masking issue..but on facebook i joined cronic compartment and compartment issues. Alot said running issue i aint ran since the younger days .but walking more of big issue. the scars some have neat as. Some big open wounds skin grafted.. The operation i have been offered with little tests i am baffled to why he wants to cut me knee to ankle..and some have incisions and healed up nice? Surely less of scar better? hes even spoken as far as if it doesnt close up i will get skingraft to with a open wound kept open... I am dreading that. I dont know if hes trying to scare me off but i know its been a long long battle with calves
@@OrthoEvalPal yeh thats i was thinking. While i was waiting, i did go asking post ops alot of questions and some of them yeh had same battle it seems with doctors not knowing about the issue, and then testing rested and signs ok. But exerted so not. I knew i wouldnt be alone. The mri exerted or anigrom under stress a few have recommended. I do wish there would see me after exterted walked the test yourself given than man to check feet pulses after extertion let alone feel calves like solid ballon more work limping bad and yeh feet like slapping and cant really force self to keep going without collapse state. I am in the uk. But we do have a cousin in america whos was a teacher but studied medic training and serves in firebrigade currently. He relayed alot of help for me on seeking answers but he knows its one for orthapedics to put me in right direction. 2nd opinion may upset this surgeon but considering out of all these years ive just had a still mri and he wants to cut kneecap to ankle from what ive seen surely it can be done with smaller incisions.. At first i was keen to fix regardless as i cant walk far and im only 30 ive been struggling since 17 18 19 college days. Was so unaware at why i was struggling an iranian doctor passed me to orthapedics and given me muscle relaxors.
Hi Mani, this is an orthotic that is reasonably priced without going to a full expensive custom orthotic plus the separate metatarsal pad can be adjusted. Insoles: bit.ly/3rvR3QM Met Pads: bit.ly/3uzKBKv
@@OrthoEvalPal thanks for your response doc. Please take more classes about prosthetics and orthotic for PT. Also for evaluation of forefoot valgus and varus. Hindfoot valgus and varus deformities orthotic for pronation and supinated foot please explain sir thanks in advance
Turn on the captioning... 😂 Also, you need glasses if it isn't immediately clear there's, in fact, a minimum of two persons in that room. He isn't doing the demo on his own foot... 😂 😂
Why??? How can anyone trust his knowledge and suggestions here when we now KNOW the masks do nothing to stop contracting a virus. Honestly this is so disappointing to see. Hard pass on anything this “Dr” has to say. SMH. Just so ridiculously disappointing.
As a new PT, I really appreciate your videos. Thank you

Hi, where I can get the Met pads?
My 4th and pinky toes are tight together and rubbing causing a huge callous and pain
Great idea!
Thanks!
THANK YOU
It will take time to come back the hammer toe to normal position the way you show us thank you

Seems pretty good, I definitely try it out and share the result.

But what if you're born with it

Most want money period. This guy wants to give useful truth.
"fix" and "manage" are two different things Dr. clickbait.

Take off the mask so we can understand you! Are there two people in the room???
Yes, the dr and the patient
The mask is annoying. Can’t get past it
