Yes, for stores mainly selling to the general public. If your googling happens to take you to a store specialising in B2B trade, you will either see everything with 0% VAT or you might get an option to either include the tax or exclude it. After all, business expenses/investments aren't taxed (or the taxes can be deducted).
I got my pc directly from pcspecialist, I chose the parts and it came in around 2 weeks. The pc was well built, great cable management and came completely flawless, with expanding foam in the middle. And most importantly, It had dual channel ram ;)
I just got a custom build from PC Specialist. Overall good, with some good and bad points. I selected the option to provide my own video card (few builders offer this option, which is a missed opportunity in the current market). Cables were managed well, although one of the chassis fans was connected to the AIO Pump header. They did run PCIe power cables in though, I was expecting to have to install that myself. I selected no OS, but they left the Windows OS they use for burn in installed with a background explaining if I wanted to use Windows Home I could activate it, moved my license over from old PC with no issues (it seems completely unmodified, presumably they keep their burn in tools on external media). XMP was set up correctly. At the time of purchase I calculated the cost to self build at around £30 ($50USD) cheaper. Not worth the hastle of self building IMO. I opted for one of their own branded CPU coolers and even during gaming, its inaudible from under the desk. During an Aida64 stress test, the 11600KF reaches 46c on the package and 57 on the highest core. This is with the "180W TDP" option, at £13 more than their 125W TDP option, I thought why not. I hope sharing this experience of them can help others.

Im in Hungary and we got fast net because of you guys, so high-five
yes the Matrexx 40 is incredible value, you covered the Macube but the Matrexx 40 is like the Macube and the Matrexx 30 had a baby and its amazing.
I started checking it out while editing the video. It does look really good. 👍
In Romania I pay 6$ for 1 gigabit per second internet speed
Thank you for noticing us Senpai
Just started the video but would like to comment: Brazilian prices always include taxes.
In Japan

Hi Dawid, would be interesting to see how Australia rates in pre built PC's. Cheers.
Badly, judging by component parts here
There were a bunch of good Australian sites recommended. Will have to do a follow up. 😁
@@DawidDoesTechStuff PCCG, Scorptec, Centrecom, PLE Computers, Budget PC, CPL (VERY BAD, avoid for anything to do with warranty), Harvey Norman (equivalent of Walmart) etc.
@@yoss3l755 umart aswell. Very cheap prices on umart !
@@yoss3l755 i would say Harvey Norman would be closer to something like best buy and i wouldn't expect much more from Harvey Norman pre built gaming pc wise other than the regular dell/alienware crap, but I haven't shopped there for maybe 5 or more years so I could be completely wrong
I really would like you to do another video like this
I kept reading "pichau" as "Pikachu" lol
even we brazilians do that joke "ah yeah i bought an ssd on pikachu... i mean pichau"
Even though you did not mention Aftershock from Singapore, but I think whatever SIs with transparency over everything is the best. Good support and worry your money
I am from India and that price for 5600x and 3060 is actually too good (yes, it includes taxes) to be true because of GST everything from overseas is super costly here
We also have SCAN in the UK, they sell parts as well as prebuilts
If you ever do this again cover Playtech in NZ they are legendary for there good prebuilts :) sadly ... being NZ that means cost. The other option is GG PC
Dang it Rowan. You are advertising here too?
Romanian internet is among the best in the world, price wise and speed. I'm glad you featured eMag, it's one of the most reliable and compelling sites for electronics here in Romania.
On the EU the VAT tax is included in the final price by law.
Yes, for stores mainly selling to the general public. If your googling happens to take you to a store specialising in B2B trade, you will either see everything with 0% VAT or you might get an option to either include the tax or exclude it. After all, business expenses/investments aren't taxed (or the taxes can be deducted).
Am Romanian, the internet there is amazing. I had 2 gigabit at $15. I live in Austria now and sort of miss it.
I got my pc directly from pcspecialist, I chose the parts and it came in around 2 weeks. The pc was well built, great cable management and came completely flawless, with expanding foam in the middle. And most importantly,
It had dual channel ram ;)
@@Aa-wq3ef well, I chose the components in it, but they did build it for me.
PCSpecialist itself is actually one of the better manufacturers - IF you go through their website.
It is a custom PC builder, that just so happens to stock through larger manufacturers.
Worth a look at their actual site.
Don't forget when you buy a PC from India the nice people from Microsoft ring you a few days later to process your refund :D
Kitboga?
To order from European sites that don't ship to Canada you can use a parcel forwarder (I use that a lot to order stuff from American sites that don't ship to Europe or to save on shipping by consolidating orders). Shipito (US based) has a warehouse in Austria for example. And there are alternatives with warehouses in Germany or the UK for example.
Ironically, PC World is among the worst places to buy a PC in the UK!
Oh I dunno, probably THE worst.
I was gonna say this, I would never buy from Curry's/PCworld. They are overpriced and try to force their warranty on you at every opportunity.
@@petrolhead0387 There's a guy that works in the Currys near me, and whenever someone goes in to buy a gaming PC, he just gives them my contact details 😅
@@petrolhead0387 Curry's? Wow that sounds really British.
@@ranjanbiswas3233 well I mean Curry is the national dish of the UK, so yes it is a very British name.
Definitely enjoyed this kind of video! Love your work man!
In south Africa it's a pain to buy a prebuilt system
I'm trying to think of a place. Where do you buy one here?
@@LawAndBedlum however in South Africa the market is hilarious because everyone here thinks if it's got dedicated graphics it's a gaming beast, I mean yesterday I saw a prebuilt system with a 3rd gen i3 and a gt 210 for R4300, that's roughly $300!
@@memenation5105 yeah bruh I've seen GT 210s with a 1000 bucks asking price in the second hand market

Yes! You've slowly became my favorite tech youtuber. Maybe try shopping in Ecuador? Prices are mad high
I would love to see a part 2 more focused on asia.
Same, this video feels lacking
I would love to see Afirca
Dawaid is back....yay
I love how he’s flying a Bomber around 😂
Really comfy transport. 😂
I just bought a Lenovo prebuilt! Thanks for the review earlier this year!
Fun fact about the UK parts market:
You don't need to convert to USD, stuff is literally just the US price but with the $ symbol swapped to a £ most of the time
Yeah. We get scammed.
Well. It was, before the current market lol
USA is generally tax free prices, and UK has 20% VAT added.
That’s pretty cool. I’d definitely be interested in more videos like that.
Why is tiny world traveler Dawid flying a B-2 bomber?
In case a country refuses to let him in?
Very happy that you included Romania thx David
The funny thing about Brazil is that here the store themselves have fanboys for some reason, so they get away with some pretty sketchy dealings. Also, most large brazilian techyoutubers have very close relationships with at least one of the big 3 stores here, so it's basically impossible to expose their BS.
Corruption all around 😔
Aftershock pc is great in Singapore and Australia they do custom water cooling rigs too I personally have one and it runs great
NO WAY THEY SELL 710 PREBUILTS IN OTHER COUNTRIES!!!
They're just that good
@@86hrs33 They are just fucking legends!
You can get a 6700xt in the us *from a scalper* for 900
So yes, you could very easily build that first system for waaaaaaay under 2k USD
Dude's asking why no comments on a 1.7k USD brazilian computer.
Bruh, nobody buys those, nobody have that money to expend on a computer, we will keep buying used lga775 until intel starts producing those again
What GPUs do you see often with 775 builds? I have 3 compact asus systems with core 2. The maxed out one has a GT1030 + Quadcore xeon and is suprisingly capable.
@@tweakz_tech they usually have some gt550, gt430 or 610 *from what I've seen,* but a 1030 on a 771 modded xeon sounds cool. Ever thought about upgrading to a x79 or 1156 board? Thats what I did back then, those x3440 cheap xeon are very capable and oc very well from what I've seen.
@@SummonerArthur upgrading motherboard in those systems is unfortunantly not possible because they have a weird formfactor. Maybe I can upgrade the systems with one of the motherboards listed, but they are all low end stuff.
P6-P7H55E LGA1156
ASUS P8H6110L LGA1155
ASUS P6-M4A3000E/DP Mainboard (I think AM3)
btw those pcs from romania the under 2000 lei ones are made from a mix of new and refurbished parts that's how they deliver okayish price / performance and can still offer a 2 year warranty on them if you really want to buy something we can arrange something out as i am from romania and willing to help with shipment
Ew that Brazilian one sucks lol, didn't even have an SSD and had 8gb ram. It has a biostar board. Last time I saw a biostar board was in an oem compaq computer in the early 2000s. ABS is currently the best value for a 3060 prebuilt right now, in the US at least
Yeah our marketing on tech SUCKS SOOOOOOO BAAAAAD. Getting any computer on brazil atm is a monumental task thanks to covid and our disgusting presidents, and our dollar coin currency just keeps rising and rising. Our stocks ends so quickly on anything we all wish and most places heavily uses budget or old ass components even to this day. Thankfully my pc is way better than those prebuilts from Pichau with a very barebones motherboard with 2 usbs and vga but it took a lot of patience and repairing since the mfs that built my pc has put a sata cable below my motherboard, bending the motherboard :( but hey it still works after forcing it...
Love this series idea! Please do New Zealand - MightyApe or PBTech.
Here hoping Dawid makes a part 2 with Finland's Jimms
yep i was thinking about the same :D
in europe taxes are mostly included and not seperated, just mostly not everywhere!
Emag from Romania lol :)))
I could really watch more of this kind of content. Enjoyable!
i know you *usually* dont do actual good prebuilts but i noticed you havent done a digitalstorm prebuilt and i think it would make a cool video
Pichau don't have a lot of reviews because we don't have 8k BRL to buy it. The low budget ones are the ones we buy for them upgrade it. Taxes are included on every part, you can see them on the invoice.
I'd definitely want more of these price comparisons, and if you want to have a look at Norwegian prices, I'd go take a look at Komplett.no for the market leader and Elkjop.no for the pleb options. A comparison of Norway to other European countries would be useful, as Norway is not a member of the EU.
the new studio is looking great! awesome video
cant believe you passed up on doing the EKWB Fluid Gaming prebuilts they did with microcenter.
Lazada and Shopee are popular in Malaysia and Singapore (scroll down to the bottom of the pages to check which country the page is about).
Pichau has weird prices and specs on the pre builts, here on Brazil the best is to buy hardware alone and find someone to get it done to use for you
Romania here. ✋ eMAG is like Amazon now - very big and there are third parties that sell there and those systems were not sold by eMAG itself, so the pictures without RAM and wrong components might be brought by that particular seller. PC Garage also make their own systems with components from well-known brands. And yes, the Internet is cheap and fast in general - 1Gbps fiber internet for 9.6$/m, or CATV 500Mbps for 11.7$/m, depending on the company.
Im in UK & When I worked for a Printer firm PCWorld/Dixons/Curry's (Same retail Group) was a swear word you could write there knowledge of products on a postage stamp in bold 26point characters, sadly they haven't got any better but now have no compation left.
Yes do more episodes, do a series actually. Also where im from have unlimted data cap net 1tb/s down and 100mb/s up, for only 15€ i think its pretty good. Also speeds are usually around 800mb/s most of the day, nearing nighttime its close to that 1000mb/s so all in all for my needs pretty great.
Dude, that's awesome pricing for such a speed.
