The fact that they have to put a sticker on the rear I/O panel covering the HDMI port and pointing to the GPU outputs telling you to use those instead, shows precisely who their target market is: people who have absolutely zero clue about PC hardware, so even if they took the side panel off and looked inside to find an absolute dumpster fire they’d have no idea what they’re looking at. That’s why these companies have no vested interest in making their prebuilts better. Anyone who does isn’t going to buy this anyway, except to laugh at it in a review.

My first time commenting on your channel Dawid, and I’ll be subscribing.... I did something I didn’t think I’d do. It only had two red flags... the infamous one stick of 8 gigs of Ram, but I already had a 2 x 8 gigs of 3000 MHz crucial balistix and the psu ... so I grabbed a basic 600 watt evga 80+ on sale for $39.99 for that... I basically wanted something newer to get me by for the next year at 1080p gaming for a year I got a MSI Ageis at Walmart for $799 USD Had a single stick of 8 gig memory, a 256 WD green ssd, 1 tb WD blue HDD, a basic MSI intel motherboard, 10th Gen f series intel i5 and a MSI Ventus OC 1660 Super gpu... On Amazon I couldn’t find that gpu for under $900 because of the “shortage” My temps have been fine... For $799 USD I don’t think it was to bad

I bought a 2.1 capable HDMI cable off Amazon that had really good reviews. In the package was a card saying that if I left a good review they'd give me a $10 Amazon gift card, which is what the cable cost in the first place. Thankfully, the cable actually works and has the bandwidth for 2.1 support, but still....Scummy as shit for companies to do this.
I gamed on an RX550 paired with an AMD X4 for longer than I care to admit. Like you said, it's OK I guess and I paid $80 total for that system which was the RX550 + a bunch of old junk I was given once. You got used to the lower frame rate and having to play with settings, but it got the job done. My kid uses that same RX550 now for Minecraft and digital art and it's pretty happy with it.
I don't care about any of these prebuilds at all, but I will watch every single one of these because the delivery is so good and the quips are flawless.
Hey Dawid, make sure to do a follow up video where you take the machine apart and rebuild it your own way, simulating what a skilled user would do to upgrade this rig - add better RAM in dual channel, fix the issues inside the machine, put a real cooler on, set up XMP, CPU, and GPU overclocking, and see how the rig performs after all the tweaking. I suspect this puppy has more to give, though the big glass covering the front intake isn't encourging. I'd rather they ship machines in the Cougar MX330-G because at least that one has front airflow mesh intake...
It's not an easy call sometimes. For some people, "wait and save up an extra $200" is a perfectly viable alternative. But for many, if their current budget has them considering a $620 system, then that kind of increase is literally a 32% increase in spending which may be quite significant. Perhaps a recommendation of an alternative in the sub-$700 price range, which is within 13%, would be more reasonable.

@@AdaaDK dude we get it,Pre build bad ooga booga
Not quite what prebuilt means.
If this had a b450 mobo it would actually be an alright deal right now. I would let you upgrade all the way to ryzen 5000, giving a good upgrade path for everything in the system. That a320 chipset kills it though.
hell even a a520 board would be better. No oc but it still could porbably handle a 5600x
@@gamagama69 Something like a MSI A520M Vector WIFI maybe? There only around £75 here in the UK.
@Brandonnn69 for roblox and discord this is overkill so id say get it
Dude idk what you said. But I just need a pc that can handle apex legends, asseto corsa, and play with my xbox friends. What pc do I buy
Don't worry about the power supply, it's cheap. But CWT builds power supplies for Corsair, be quiet and many other brands. That is even a good sign that they have not built in a China bomb.
The thing with Corsairs and other brands that order their powersupplies from these china factories is they specify exactly which components go into it.. where as one that is just a factory product usually gets the cheapest components to maximize profits.
@@Oxytropis1 This is partly true, but the power supplies are cheap but quite usable. Smaller retailers on amazon/ebay use much worse ones, which can literally blow up in your face.
Generally, you can not talk about worse components, it really depends on the price, model, etc. They are also designed for shorter warranty periods. By the way, I have already seen for example in a FSP power supply on the secondary side Ruybcon capacitors, there were the same branded PSUs were equipped with Teapos. This Japanese capacitors topic, is also largely hyped by marketing.
Oh,the suffering!!!!
Oh,the ending is hilarious!!!!!
In conclusion, you better off getting the new consoles
Feels so good to watch a video that says 5 minutes ago under it
Informative AND entertaining - you are a rare breed Dawid 👍
Dawid seeing a CWT psu: "I've never heard of psu oem's before"
Cwt isnt the best if I recall but they have made a lot of units for entry level and its far better than DEER or huntkey
Channel Well is one of the major power supply OEMs, they manufacture the Corsair RM, RMi and RMx series PSUs, they are capable of making very good products
Not knowing CWT as a "tech" youtuber is kinda sad.....
Yeah! I'm glad to hear it's not the worst. 👍
@@DuyLeNguyen DAMN okay, and I've seen a Great Wall PSU being amazing too, so I guess they can build great stuff when they mean to.
@@matasa7463 Great Wall currently has the best SFX platform on the market which is what the SF750 Platinum uses. The branding and manufacturing when it comes to PSUs along with the individual quality is a pretty big rabbit hole.
The fact that they have to put a sticker on the rear
I/O panel covering the HDMI port and pointing to the GPU outputs telling you to use those instead, shows precisely who their target market is: people who have absolutely zero clue about PC hardware, so even if they took the side panel off and looked inside to find an absolute dumpster fire they’d have no idea what they’re looking at. That’s why these companies have no vested interest in making their prebuilts better. Anyone who does isn’t going to buy this anyway, except to laugh at it in a review.
I agree why should they try harder when they don't have to
Those CWT power supplies are actually pretty good units. They are an OEM (like FSP and Superflower) for other brands.
god watching someone say that those frames are bad on a game that cant even run on my pc feels bad bruh
I have the oldest xbox known to man i feel you
I came here to hear Dawid say "amazn"
7:04 The drivers on those parts are probably just not updated much.
The last new driver was in March. That makes a good but of sense. 😁
I have had my eye on this pc thank you for reviewing it
i'm curious to see if you can get better performances with dual channel ram, even tho i doubt it will make too much of a difference cause the gpu is mostly the limiting factor, also get the cable-tie out!
Just realised you're one of the only tech tubers to support 18:9 ratio phones big up my dude
Is there a gaming pre-build that you DO recommend? It seems all your videos are mocking cheapest or crappy builds. What pre-build have you been impressed with without having to rob a bank?
My first time commenting on your channel Dawid, and I’ll be subscribing....
I did something I didn’t think I’d do. I bought a prebuilt from Walmart simply because I couldn’t get a graphics card anywhere...
For the price and what I got I was pleasantly surprised....
It only had two red flags... the infamous one stick of 8 gigs of Ram, but I already had a 2 x 8 gigs of 3000 MHz crucial balistix and the psu ... so I grabbed a basic 600 watt evga 80+ on sale for $39.99 for that... I basically wanted something newer to get me by for the next year at 1080p gaming for a year
I got a MSI Ageis at Walmart for $799 USD
Had a single stick of 8 gig memory, a 256 WD green ssd, 1 tb WD blue HDD, a basic MSI intel motherboard, 10th Gen f series intel i5 and a MSI Ventus OC 1660 Super gpu...
On Amazon I couldn’t find that gpu for under $900 because of the “shortage”
My temps have been fine...
For $799 USD I don’t think it was to bad
does dawid always use screw drivers on thumbscrews? I love how screws in general seem to be his kryptonite.. along with 1x8gb ram
better keep the distance... who knows who screwed it
@@finco7726 It's probably safer for Dawid to use a screwdriver. We're not sure how well the assembler "screwed with confidence," or if he used a proper Swiss Army knife with (hopefully) a Phillips screwdriver.
I've lost skin to thumb screws before. Whether you're buying a case or a pre-built, those thumb screws always tend to be super tight to prevent the screws from coming loose during shipping. I always use a screw drivers the first time I loosen up a thumb screw.
Dawid's absurdly large repitoore of synonyms for "a bad thing/situation" never ceases to simultaneously amaze and concern me
I was waiting to hear what you'd say when you tried to run Tarkov. 🤣
As someone who works at UPS I can tell you that’s not bad damage. We will throw or slide your shit across the belt to get it closer to the truck it needs to be loaded in, then potentially throw an unknown amount of weight on top of the package. This is after it’s probably been tossed out of a trailer and slide around it n countless belts smashing into other packages along the way.
CWT/channel well makes a lot of medium / high Corsair PSU's.
11:15 I was literally contemplating buying this one it's a definite yes now! Woohoo!!
There is one of the ibuypower one with ryzen 5 3600 and radeon rx 5600 xt. It was $750 but now it jumped over $1200
Still a very good deal
@@shane250 for $1200. Thats Hella overpriced
@@DOHA104p3
In today's market, anything over rx580\1060 for less than $1500 is an okay deal. I would never pay that if I had a choice, but if you really need a PC... It's an okay option.
@@shane250 true but the price jump tho.
There's the same pc on best buy that cost $950 but out of stock
I guess it's pretty good deal to some people
I paid 999$ for a i7 10700f with gtx 1660 ti with16gb ram and 240ssd. Msi b460 board. I'm happy with it
Love these videos, great fun! Thank you!
This "free gift" is another one of these (illegal) gift card for review things
Sure you haven’t heard this before, but love that every time you say “30” in that (South African?) accent I fully expect it to be followed by “Cent” afterwards 😂
I've literally been emailed by a company I bought a product for saying I'll get 20usd for giving them a 5 star review. Later they sent me a list of products I'd get full refunds for after buying them and leaving 5 star reviews, lmao.
“About as trustworthy as a mine where the Canary birds keep dying” bruh this mans almost committed murder on me when i heard that 😂😂😂😂👌👌
Yo can you make a video on the best prebuilt you can buy at decent price? Would be nice to see a build with a positive review
"Hopefully it's not malware" LOL
I don't care about any of these prebuilds at all, but I will watch every single one of these because the delivery is so good and the quips are flawless.
Since when is 1% lows above 60fps "playable"
He's obviously never gamed on console 😆
It is a first person shooter and he has obviously higher standards. :D
@@TotallyNotRedneckYall You obviously never played first person shooters. :D
@@worldhello1234 Are you slow? Consoles were locked to 30/60 fps in the last generation, thus my comment.
It depends on the game. Competitive PvP games can feel real bad even with decent looking FPS on paper.
I'd rather they ship machines in the Cougar MX330-G because at least that one has front airflow mesh intake...
this psu is as trustworthy as a mine where the canary keeps dieing 😂😂😂😂😂
Really wanted to see some Dual Channel testing
Dawid should change his youtube name to "Dawid does Prebuilts"
I think that same PC is now like $750 through best buy. For a little more money, you can definitely come out miles ahead of this thing.
If 600$ is stetch buy a Xbox series x. Pc gaming is not cheap. Consoles are best bargain for money.
1:20 jokes on you I bought a more expensive and worse laptop ignorantly thinking laptops were cheaper for the same performance because I knew nothing about pc’s 🤦♂️☹️
