To be fair, after Randy's recovery from collapsing, it wouldn't make sense if Tom started being mean to him again. I think this may be the end of the Randy jokes, I don't recall any in season 5.

Yes BoJack has some very memorable emotional tear-jerking moments, but you gotta admit it does a VERY great job as a comedy.
