Absolutely no. Mr. Peanutbutter works as a character because he's the perfect contrast to Bojack, having a spin-off based on him would show how bland the character really is. Just like with Squidward, but hey, Nickelodeon announced a spin-off for him, so you'll probably understand what I mean soon

Like how Bojack Horseman adds character traits to the characters that match their animal and don't just make their character designs animals for the sake of it being "funny" or "cute". Hope that makes sense.
IMHO, animal stereotype humor is one of the lazier jokes the show has made. EDIT: I accept it as a part of the genre, but I feel the strongest aspects of the show are derived elsewhere.
I hate what they did with the characters in Sing! They’re animal characters and are animals because they would be marketable and cute. They didn’t poke fun at the designs and make any animal jokes.
I love that Bojack Horseman has space for a character like PB. It can tackle such dark topics like sexual assault and depression, but leave room for PB simple-minded lighthearted nature without dismissing his character and worldview. They delve into his "silly" antics and his problems just as much the other characters, even if they seem "surface-level", and showcase how it is both a strength and a weakness to live that way, instead of making him the dumb joke just because he doesn't think as "deeply" as other characters. Him confronting Bojack about kissing Diane is such an amazing moment.

My first impression of Mr. PB was he was being passive agressive and he wasn't a genuinely sweet guy, he quickly became one of my favorite characters and i'm so glad I was wrong.

There is also his strength, since horses are strong creatures, and Bojack was able to drag the D from Hollywood to his house. There is another emotional similarity that is plausible. Horses are highly social beings, and it is highly unusual for a horse to be alone. Explains Bojack's loneliness especially when you consider the void created in him since his parents did not bond with him in his childhood.

Well actually Princess Carolyn is shown to be extremely agile in later episodes,really playing off that feline agility. And to a lesser degree, the animals often use those stereotypes as one off gags, like moths eating their own clothing and the elephant in the room joke
