I actually disagree, it can be really tough to fly through a house but if you check out indoordronetours they are KILLING the indoor real estate game. They use small cinewhoops and it’s extremely useful for smaller houses.
This is exactly why I am learning FPV to tie both shots together just looks great and hopefully was a lot of practice my FPV Skills will happen sooner than later thanks bro love your channel
Great footage I can see how it adds to the appeal of property. It gives you a sense of spaciousness that you can't get with still shots
Tbh I think it just depends on your opinion. There is really good fpv indoor drone videos and outdoor videos. Really just depends what the client wants cause it all looks nice either way if you do it right
The nice thing about flying through the house, if done well, in addition to the high quality photos/videos is you get a better sense of the layout, looking at the video on vimeo I have no idea where rooms are in relationships to each other, so yes I agree it shouldn't be the only/main video but it couldn't hurt.

Good job man. This is exactly what I'm working to get into. A smaller but slower and safer option is a cinewhoop series quad. im sure you may have heard of them. Smaller for tighter spaces and most have bumpers.

I'll just comment on the beginning, for now. I've looked at a LOT of real estate footage, from drones, and that was breathtaking. If that was norm, I need to go look at a lot more RE footage. But I already suspect, it is not the norm. You have all this experience with fast drones, I guess it must bleed over to this type of footage. Congrats man.
Great content, as always. I tend to take indoor shots & videos with dedicated camera & gimbal. I think properly handled, a camera & gimbal gives more precise control of steering viewer to what you want them to see. I also take an Insta 360 for some cool virtual shots if required & there's enough natural light. I mainly use either DJI mini3 pro or Mavic 2 pro, depending on location (mini 3 pro can get fab results) for outdoor shots and location videos. I still have a Protek35 which is 'good enough' for low intro shots, where the property has lots of land to be appreciated 🙂

Gotta say I completely disagree. Mavic for outside and fpv inside. Yes the gopro struggles in some places that have poor lighting, but it's undoubtedly the best way tour a house. Idk about you but where I'm from fpv fly throughs are on fire. Its all anyone wants, houses, offices, restaurants and event venues, warehouses they all
want it. This year is the year of fpv.
Nevertheless the footage looks great! Perfect timing for the lighting in that golden hour.
As someone who films real estate professionally no go pro belongs in a house period. If you think distortion of verticals are ok you are in the wrong line of work

Agreed that there’s definitely limitations to the GP sensor for indoor filming. But I’ve gotten great results on smaller properties showing outside to in and back out to the yard/pool. Still got a ways to go, but when it clicks you can definitely blow some minds 🤯
Another benefit is that it cuts your indoor filming time significantly, one good line, 3-4 minutes and you’re set with some great footage for the edit (jus make sure the light is good lol)

Totally agree that FPV needs to be outside for Real estate, mostly.
My only thing with fpv videos is that they need to be nice and smooth and slow. Most buyers aren’t use to fast paced stuff and they’ll think it’s too fast and make them dizzy.
I like all this! You cost me a lot of money, I started FPV because of you! And now I saw you use the expensive DJI digital goggles...
If you were to shoot FPV indoors, what would be the best cinewhoop & camera to use?
I am not an expert, and I do not film real estate, but I have toured 1 or 2 homes and watched a few home tour videos, and been with some people with a few problems that also watch the videos (motion sickness easily)
I think you are on the right mindset. People buying real estate want to see the real estate, and not get sick doing it. This video was great. Flying faster down the driveway and around the property. The locked horizontal camera is fine, but you have to be careful not to do many tight turns or acro moves, maybe cut around those, as some viewers may have problems, and the goal is to show off the property, not the flying.
It should be a magical carpet ride. Not a roller coaster.
I also agree on the inside. As a buyer, I want to see what I am buying as if I am walking through the house. The quality of the video, and yes the lines being straight, mater a lot. You do not want the picture to cause the viewer any discomfort, even if they are not sure what is causing it. It could make the buyer second guess the property.
But for this house and property, I think you are on target for how to film it. I think there is a little more editing that you are already doing to make it ‘right’, but a straight GPS drone would have only worked, where as the FPV drone kind of nails showing off how big and FUN this property really is.
Now, as for your brother... his gear MAY last a little longer being in that case, but I think he is just trying to look as professional as his brothers videos look.
In the video, he does seem to be a little vertically challenged. Is he also trying to compensate in other ways as well?
(Actually, it is great to see you collaborating with the competition... but somehow I have a feeling that cow started due to hearing or see a flying thing buzzing in its direction. Maybe even guiding it in the direction of someone else working on the job. He has to get his exercise somewhere, and you do need more content to make that 31 happen)
Well, there are types of FPV. Cinewhoops are perfect for in-the-house shots.
If you're referring to Freestyle FPV, then yeah, sure. I don't know why anyone would use a freestyle FPV drone inside a house. That's just disaster waiting to happen.

I can’t agree with the statement on not flying through houses - a good pilot and make it look magical with a one take video. Can you go into more about why you don’t like this ? GoPro quality ? Pilot skills ? Too big of a quad ?

Start by practicing in a simulator with a fpv controller or you can buy a starter kit - I recommend the tinyhawk starter kit. It’s cheap and you can bash it around as you practice. Once you get your skills up then decide on a drone with good quality. Probably a cinewhoop that can cary a GoPro. Don’t listen to everyone who says it’ll take years to get good footage. I was busting out bangers within a month of learning
I hope you up charge for FPV. Not many can do both. I'm in the process of learning so I can do something similar. I appreciate the videos and always learning.
P.S. I live in NH so I've learned to fly from inside a car, when below 35°F.

Absolutely luvin your real estate game dude. I agree, the real camera for interior videos is way more professional. Fpv on the inside is sort of a tacky approach in my opinion... But I would love to be able to fly fpv and sprinkle some footage in within the exterior shots. I just started using the simulator about 12-15 hours ago and it’s taking me way longer than I thought it would to develop the skill! Im getting there, but damn, it’s taking me some time...
Question, I been looking at cinewhoops and kicking around the idea, and I’d like to know your thoughts on something like the Aerialvation quad with the naked GoPro (cinestar?) How does a drone such as that compare to your quad? What are the differences? What are your likes and or dislikes with the two if you were using them solely for work like this?

I believe if you go into the house, make sure your shooting on a nice sunny day/lights on in the house, Real estate FPV can be legit.
Should have turned off SuperView for those shots, there's no point in creating the illusion of speed and too much distortion ruins the footage, causing trees and the house itself to take on very strange angles.
I run a preset for distortion before even editing. Shot in 60 so they are slowed typically to about 40%

Is it because of the pilot not making the video look good or do you not like fpv video style ? I think if a pilot and flow and make no abrupt movements then fpv real estate videos look magical
