This is a great review. I’m looking to get one of these and this has made me feel happier with buying one so thank you 🙏 I need to ask please I have dji goggles v2 and I have been told I need to get the dji 03 air unit to use the goggles with it is this true ? Thanks
Still a great drone, suggest getting the deadcat version and o3, goggles V2 and goggles 2 are compatible both with o3 and vista

Nice flying, nice drone. Flew the mark4 on Sunday at a race. Very nice and no jello because the frame is really stiff. On the Diatone Roma v2 however, the same cam (DJI a2) shows ugly vibrations, so their frame isn't as good... greets, Mario
Wow i remember diatone using very good carbon years ago, weird they made this mistake!

2207 and 2306 are standard for 5in. and 2207.5 has a thicker stator than just a 7mm tall stator . plenty of power out of those motors.
I was used to see wider motors from other brands, but this ones rock for sure!
Hey Rimzler thanks for the review. I think you just brought me back home to Geprc. I had not so good experiences with my last 2 Gep quads. My Croc5baby and Smart 35 both blew out their esc's after a few months of light freestyle flying. I picked up an Iflight Nazgul after that and have been in love ever since (I didn't think anyone elde could tune a drone as good as Geprc) however this quad to just too beautiful inside out to not take a chance. I'll be getting the 6s analog asap. Thanks for another great review.
Wow, Smart35 is one of my all time favs so far, but Geprc and iFlight are the best brands out there, for sub250g Geprc and 5 inch iFlight as i see, but the mark 5 I've been carrying to work for some weeks and i love it!

I just unboxed my Geprc mark 5 dc, I installed the propellers but I realised I did it wrong ( I didn’t even turn it on or bind it yet ), but now when I unscrew the too it seems like the props are stuck in there? It went in super smooth but now is sitting solid there it almost seems like the hole in props is smaller than the bar of motor lol. Any suggestions? Please 🙏
It happens often, you gotta hold firmly to the motor (try with hands, if doesn't work put a piece of rubber between pliers and use that) with the other hand start twisting the prop back and forth and pull while you make it move, it will come loose!
@@Rimzler hello sir… so I did bind everything, goggles work, controller works ( check in Beta flight ), now I plug the quad to my laptop and if I do it without the battery plugged in it still shows in beta flight etc, but as soon I plug the battery in the Geprc starts to fast-beep like there is no tomorrow + blue flashing light on the professor. It’s still shows in Beta Flight and there is no visible issue but it just constantly beeps. Why is it beeping? I didn’t even setup the rates yet, just finished binding I feel like I can’t move forward until I diagnose this beeping noise. I just don’t get it😩
@nonsenseexplorer could be that no Rx is connected or beeper is activated in the modes tab, don't worry about it

i thought it flew nicer with the gopro on it, (i would put a little brace of carbon on top of the gopro tpu mounts) .. its pricey but geprc do a great job, ... ps. have a look at the archon v3 from halo rc, i'm really enjoying the mix of cinematic and freestyle agility, my AUW with a 4s 1300mah and hero 6 is 690g, i think with a naked gopro it would be an incredible quad.
It flies nicer cause of the weight! I have to look at the archon yeah!
Ciao @Rimzler. Sto valutando di ricominciare con l'fpv dopo aver venduto uno squirt ed un apex 5" una paio di anni fa. Ti seguivo all'epoca per le gopro naked 😅 Sto pensando proprio al geprc mark 5 ma la versione deadcat con o3. Se acquisto dal sito geprc mi becco la dogana?
Ottima scelta la versione deadcat! Tramite corriere la dogana la becchi al 90% costo intorno ai 20/40 euro ma il drone arriva in pochi giorni
Tramite posta è più difficile prenderla ma ci può mettere parecchio ad arrivare
Would you recommend the protek 25 pusher or the cinelog 25 for a beginner? I don't plan on putting a camera on it anytime soon. Would use it to fly indoors but also outdoors for a little freestyle now and then. I've heard the protek has stronger motors and I can get the protek for $40 less than the cinelog. Still can't decide on one of them.

Cinelog is better imho, if you are going to put a camera eventually, protek is good tho but for camera Cinelog wins

When you do your test do you always fly it with stock factory rates that it already had installed?

Love this drone. Flies a tiny bit better than my evoque imo.
Evoque is heavy. I changed the motors to fpv cycle 25mm and it was amazing
Tiny bit yes for sure, but maybe has also to do with it not being a deadcat

what do you mean you lost it? you had a run away drone or did you crash it?
I flew it above the clouds like a moron, humidity made the motors stop and it fell god knows where

Why do you prefer the Nazgul over the Mark 5 for cinematic?
If I have to bring a 5 inch, i would choose a deadcat because I can use the camera at low angles and not have the propellers in view, but now they make the mark 5 in deadcat configuration as well so really is personal preference, they are both very good 5 inch

It's on par, I'm still using the nazgul as i like the deadcat style more, but they are interchangeable

These are amazing motors. The FPVCycle motors are great (run them on a Sonicare), but these are my current favorite motors.

That is not the props Making that sound. Its frame resonance. Not a good thing. Use dampening grease

@@Rimzler its only doing it at low to mid throttle. It could be the props but not likely. It's not bad after watching more. Just at low to mid throttle. BF 4.3 will likely fix that and make it fly even better
