I think he is based of obviously the Red Baron but also the Luffewaffen’s best pilot Erich Hartmann another skilled pilot with a specially fitted fighter. And just like the baron had a war record of the highest amount in there respective wars. But that doesn’t matter as it is only a part of there capability of flying. The only difference is that One died in combat and the other lived afterward, Hartmann would eventually train the first generation of modern German Air Force Pilots (for the West of course).
Can you do the Gray Paladins from coruscant nights? They're a Jedi faction that used blasters and other weapons one was so good that she was able to send one of her own bolts straight up an enemy's blaster barrel. They also believed in using the force as little as possible so they focused on other skills like martial arts and military tactics like guerrilla warfare, urban tactics, espionage, and infiltration.
5:59 I'm seeing a lot of ww1 German references here. The bright red plane. And the German officer looking uniform. Also, I think the UK blockaded Germany during the the time as well. Plus, strafing runs. I wonder if there are other things in this story or other interesting (well more creative ones like 8:49) star wars stories that are references of actual history
I remember this guy...Its really sad they didnt have him in the Zygerria arc. I was legit hoping he'd show up. I wanted him to sound like Manfrid Von Richtofen. For...obvious reasons. Odd they took a WWI pilot instead of someone from WWII, considering most everything else from Star Wars is WWII inspired, more or less. I guess fewer people know who Eric Hartmann is...
I read the comic. Very good. Tofen could be compared to Erwin Rommel who was basically a good man, professional soldier, military genius who served a brutal regime. Tofen's planet was not a brutal and evil regime but it was allied with the CIS headed by a brutal Sith Lord like Dukku. We talk about when bad things happen to good people. This seems to be a situation of when good people are forced to do bad things.
If this dude would have live long enough, to live during the Galactic Civil War, he'll had join the Rebellion, and be Vader's rival when it came to starfighter combat.
I like seeing stories about humans who fought for the separatists. I also like stories where the Republic is doing possibly unethical actions, foreshadowing it's transformation into the Empire.
So can't there ever be genially honorable CIS/Imperial, without needing to have been tricked or blackmailled into serving the CIS/Empire, or not eventually defecting to the "good side".
What is the name of the music in the video (How the Republic Planned to use the Death Star on the Separatists [Canon]) from minute 00:00 to 01:35? thanks, your channel is Amazing ^^
@@TheLoreMasterYT ugh. I cant believe I got it wrong. Cause it looked like "Share Bread with the Enemy" by how Dooku and the jedi sat at the dinner table
“Tofen” like Manfred Richthofen, bright red, oddly-shaped snub fighter, and the guy in the art even looks like the real guy. This isn’t the most subtle of parallels, but it’s still neat.
Looks like the Red Baron! A very notable and honorable enemy! Well, technically not, because I am the Senate and a Separatist! He was a great man! May he rest in peace.
There have been four Red Baron archetypes throughout Star Wars. For the Separatists, it was Tofen. For the Rebellion and New Republic, it was Wedge. For the Empire, it was Baron Soontir Fel. For the Empire of the Hand and eventually the Fel Empire, it was Jagged Fel himself.
It’s ironic how blind some people are. The seperatists don’t blockade neutral planets, they invade them, which is much worse than what the republic is doing. And let’s remember one of the events that lead to the clone wars was the blockade of Naboo by the trade federation, who later became a huge part of the separatists. Dooku is a cunning and skilled politician to fool all these planets into thinking the CIS is any better than the republic.

Hands down one of the most badass characters in star wars.
I use to have these comic books
HIGHER, KING OF THE STARS, HES FLYING TOO FAST AND HES FLYING TOO FAR.
Who would win? A super skilled and highly trained pilot that can defeat many space monks, or one big flappy boi?
Depends.....what writer and plot say or lazy story people accept and think is "cool". Establish best pilot 1976, "new best pilot rival 20xx"....
Hello there and keep up the great videos man
I feel ww1 inspire these pilots design. Especially the red baron.
I actually had a chance to read this storyline, and I remember it vividly.
The more I find out about the clone wars the separatists were in the right..they just wanted to be
5:59 I'm seeing a lot of ww1 German references here.
The bright red plane.
And the German officer looking uniform.
Also, I think the UK blockaded Germany during the the time as well.
Plus, strafing runs.
I wonder if there are other things in this story or other interesting (well more creative ones like 8:49) star wars stories that are references of actual history
Harrison Ressler The German ace sparing the helpless enemy, many cases of that.
I have been looking for this thing for six years.
This seems to be a situation of when good people are forced to do bad things.
i really like the design of that space station and Tofen vane and Valahari. Wow
First hi please reply been watching since 1st video when ur we’re fact free
It's a complete shame we never got this to happen in animated form.
Those comic is so poorly drawn, but the story is alright
So can't there ever be genially honorable CIS/Imperial, without needing to have been tricked or blackmailled into serving the CIS/Empire, or not eventually defecting to the "good side".
Never knew any of this. Pretty awesome story
Amazing story. Thank you.
He painted his ship red, nice.
What is the name of the music in the video (How the Republic Planned to use the Death Star on the Separatists [Canon]) from minute 00:00 to 01:35?
thanks, your channel is Amazing ^^
I remember having this comic when I was little and it was a great read
Once again...a very interesting story
Me: Say man, doesn't that look like a Nazi pilot?
SW: Nein!!!
Higher, the king of the sky,
He's flying too fast and he's flying to high.
Higher, an eye for an eye,
The legend will never die!
Is this "Share Bread With The Enemy" by any chance? The Clone Wars Comic?
It’s from the “Hero of the Confederacy” arc from The Clone Wars comic series :)
Both he and his ship look like some kind of speed racer villain space ship.
I'm love'n it👍🏾
Didn’t know about this character until now thanks for the Star Wars lore 😁😁👌👌
Kenobi and Anakin are sent as negotiators of the republic just to end with both menacing the royal family.
"Ah yes, the negotiator"
Looks like the Red Baron! A very notable and honorable enemy! Well, technically not, because I am the Senate and a Separatist! He was a great man! May he rest in peace.
I just realised that Tofen is a reference to the red baron, Manfred von RichTofen. Well played Star Wars...well played.
The design of his starfighter is hella dope. Would totally buy a lego set based on it.
8:20-8:35 what's the name of that starfigher?
This guy deserves his own movies
