Oh My Gosh yes they finally made this video!!!!
Durge finally became Canon.
@@OutOfIdeas9977 he’s dead at this point
@@starlight0313 durge is still alive in canon, Aphra only beat him because of pure luck
At the same time it’s a really dumb premise
I love how Han ended up meeting and made beef with so many people that an auction solely focused on him attracted all of them.
That is pretty great isn't it. :D
Trust me, it has its drawbacks.
I have see men grow weary of such attention.
Reminds me of the last episode of Seinfeld
he really is both the luckiest and unluckiest guy in the galaxy
Literal galactic troll
Literally brought together every significant crime gang to fight with the empire just for han solo. Insane story
Nanorobotics is an emerging technology field creating machines or robots whose components are at or near the scale of a nanometer.
Boba didn’t have any extra cash set aside despite being the most prolific bounty hunter in the galaxy? Guess Jango forgot to teach him about saving.
And Boba should have also just gotten paid by Vader for finding the falcon.
All his money goes to twi'lek lady's and death stick addition 😎
Boba could have just improsoned Han as he came out of Carbonite. This entire comic didnt need to exist. Its just disney trying to milk a popular character for all he is worth.
@@ethanpitts1184 Look somebody else who didn't read it. The comic explains that if he wouldn't have been fixed he would have melted and died completely. Lol
@@ethanpitts1184 While there is some truth in what you said, the comic does explain why Leia and the others didn't just go straight to Jabba's place. It's a plot hole that doesn't get major attention like the hole in the Death Star. But it was a plot hole that many fans questioned.

It’s actually impressive how many enemies Hans made through out his life
I don't follow Star Wars that much so I had no idea Durge was now canon, made me really happy for some reason
Yeah he became canon in june 2021
Original Dark Horse version is much better though.
Prince Xizor became Canon too.
@@miqseri I didn't know that
Dude he lives yes yes
I burst out laughing at 5:26 its just hilarious how Han is used as bait to lure in these terrifying mob bosses and lords who you'd think wouldn't even spare a second glance at Han, who's just a smuggler
Han made tons of enemies
Lol seriously he had bounty on his head also 🤦♂️
He wasn’t just a smuggler, he was a mercenary, a gun for hire. He did jobs for everyone. It was his good conscience that often got him in trouble, as despite his Roguish reputation, he was a good man deep down. Essentially he was a diamond in the rough.
Im pretty sure everyone wants to kill him
It's also fun to imagine that instead of just being brought to Jabba' Palace, Han's unconscious body is being flung across battle zones with all the urgentness of Wacko's Wish and the tenderness of the Krusty Krab health inspector.
This was definitely a big lore filled comic and helps so much with filling some gaps in.
loved how they managed to throw exegol in the story. seems like they are trying to fix up the sequels now.
@@ghost19knight yes bro I’m excited for what’s next! This in live action tho would be so crazy imagine getting something like this in book of boba

Seeing that little bit about Dirge made me fucking PUMPED.
@@gerardamoia6997 *Durge
I really wanted to like the war of the bounty hunters arc, but each issue just became so tedious with each issue trying to catch up with the other series. It was definitely interesting to see crimson dawn return however. Because of this I stopped reading the Star Wars marvel comics but I loved the earlier series. Darth Vader by Charles soule set right after revenge of the sith was incredible I thought!
I do not see why one would make you leave the others

- The Emperors Wrath
I loved how this comic was based on the Solo movie. It was amazing seeing those characters re-emerge
same here, I love solo so I'm glad its getting some love!
This was interesting, but I still prefer Shadows of the Empires' take for how Boba delivered Han to Jabba. Very professional and sneaky, unlike losing him on Nar Shadda because he "doesn't have credits" lmao.
This whole thing seems like another excuse to make boba a bumbling fool, which backs up his current story…
Great story. Better writing back then. I also forgot that part of the story. I think IG 88 had a different death too, from what I remember from Tales of the Bounty Hunters. But the new writers aren't going to care about that.
@@thatstoicdude4239 Maybe you're not actually getting the story?
fuck imagine if Mual was still the head of the families during this time. Shit would be wild
Imagine if Maul and Vader had an intense staredown because they made eye contact for one second.
Dude is there a place in the entire universe where Han Solo hasn’t scammed people?🤥😂😂
The Yuzzan Vong
@@AlsayidHaddosh one way or another, like everyone else, they probably want to still kill him
I mean technically aldeeran
This whole comic was an all out battle
Battle royale
This whole thing is so convoluted it's hard to care about any of the parties after a certain point
So basically, Star Wars: Ultimate. Because everyone is here
The ultimate war over a single man, an empire, rebels, crime syndicates, cartels and bounty hunters
Ok but consider that as a game with every single big Star Wars character from Darth Malgus to Darth Vader
This actually got me emotional because this is the product of Maul’s work. His impact on the galaxy result in his organization being one of the major parties that directly led to the destruction of the empire and the last middle finger to Palpatine in death. This comic did him
Justice and shows how Maul is more than what anyone gave him credit for at the end of the day.
3:34. I didn’t know Han made so many enemies. And I am happy to see QI’RA again. It’s been to long since I last seen her
Properly he lost every cargo that those crime syndicates have.
Why am I not surprised
Yeah, I'm kind of glad they're doing something more with Qi'ra. Too often it feels like a character gets introduced, isn't an instant hit, and then gets forgotten about. So many characters have potential, they just need to be explored and utilized for it to show.
@@dungeonguy88
I always wondered what her master being Darth Maul meant in the greater scheme of things…
_If it was Rebels related, I wouldn’t know, other than a bit of his involvement and death._
@@palecaptainwolfkayls8499 In the grand scheme of things, I think it effectively makes her Maul's heir, after a fashion.
Towards the end of the Clone Wars and into the early years of the Empire, Maul relied on the criminal syndicate he built. The Crimson Dawn being the eventual form it took after he pressed enough others into his service.
I would imagine that, as Darth Vader and the Inquisitors became more active, he had to abandon it like he did the Mandalorians. It was just too high profile for it to remain useful for him. Lacking his leadership, it probably came down to his top lieutenants vying for the top-spot. With Qi'Ra presumably coming out on top.
I'm sorry, but NO amount of training from Maul is going to make a non force-sensitive strong enough to hold their own against Vader, for ANY amount of time. 😂
Hold her own just means she was skilled enough to impress him slightly which few could do. He basically swatted her like a fly afterwards.
@Skritrit if non force sensitive beings like cad bane can hold off Obi-Wan Kenobi its not that unrealistic for for some one trained by maul to hold off Vader. Also Vader has a habit of 'playing with his food' so just instantly going for the kill isn't his style.
What’s so strange? Cad band held his own against anakin!! No mentioning he also held his own against TWO master Jedi like Obi Wan Kenobi
@@dieinfire920 That's because of plot armor and PIS, lmao.
Considering a clone of maul almost kills Vader in the comics it's not surprising at all that she's able to hold her own for a solid minute
Wow this gets RIDICULOUS lmao
"What happened while I was out?"
"Lmao you're not gonna believe this"
That was a fun storyline to read
The crimson dawn are so weird to me. They seem like such a strong force but they drop off out of nowhere and dont ever get mentioned again.
Must disappointing thing* that happened in Vader's comics was exegol's mention, it's like: "Yes, it exists, trust the sequels", and then ignored, it feels like they're trying to get us to ignore all of those movies plotholes.
Both Vader's and Boba's comics are great, tho.
Shadow of the empire was better
@@xxcaptninjaxx4301 will never argue on that, pal!
Problem number one with the sequel trilogy. Both Rian Johnson and JJ didn’t think of Star Wars as a whole
Xegol existed before those movies
*These and Exegol wasn't in the war of Bounty Hunter
Liea: Oh no Hans dead
Han: *floating in space"
Boba: ROCKET MANNNNN, BURNING OUT HIS FUSE UP HERE ALONE
I really liked the war of the bounty Hunters arc. Good to see it's getting the recognition it deserves
Perfect fit to the story. I figured a lot had happened between Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. Poor Han went through a lot.
It’s funny to me on how many enemies solo has.
Solo needs a uncharted type of series.
Han, uniting the galaxy by pissing everyone off, intentionally or not.
then later having the galaxy fight itself because some factions want you more than others
The knights of ren were around before Kylo ren was even born and they were a part of the crimson dawn this should've been mentioned in the sequel trilogy.
The job of every media post-sequels is to try to fix them lmao
Why should it? The Knights of Ren weren't important for the story of the trilogy!
2:24 never did I think Id see a ripped hutt holy shit
I like how Solo has problems with like every important person in the entire galaxy
Great that you cover this amazing crossover story from the new canon. Far too few people know it.
it's pretty over the top tbh, cool story, but hard to believe this is what happened between 5-6, except for Hutt council death
Now we know

@@brewmaster2912 Same. The movie was decent, but TLJ’s sour reception didn’t help it.
Damn. That feeling when the literal entirety of the Galaxy is here for you
I wonder if anyone ever told Han about all the crazy that came out in his name after he was frozen on Bespin?
No doubt this has to be the best thing that happened to star wars history, opening a new potential stories and creating a more complex branch of the main line story
The best thing in SW canon I would say. It feels so huge and important with everyone involved.
A post Imperial series, or trilogy of movies about Crimson Dawn, and the power struggle between all the different gangs would just be great IMO. It would tie in so well with the book of boba fett, and even the mandalorian season 4 (if we get a season 4). I mean just imagine the battles we could see between the the Hutts, the Black Sun, Crimson Dawn, and Bobas new empire. On top of all that, we could have the New Republic desperately trying to deal with the new power vacuum in the outer rim as a result of the end of the Empire.
@@thelegend_doggo1062 Crimson reign is the fall of Dawn so I doubt we will see any post imperials/NJO with dawn.
@@John316_Acts2 that’s a little sad, but a series about a war in the underworld would still be awesome

Wow what a crazy comicc story, it filled some plot holes. Great video and love your content Loremaster

Great video I never knew almost any of this ! Thank you!
Darth Vader: "I am not done causally whipping you boy."
Luke: "Nooooo, it hurts [continues running]."
2:23 Jabba really said "Imma reinvent myself at the gym"
I like the new transition effects!
Durge is now canon?
Also there's a bounty hunter named Deathstick? What, they name themselves after their favourite drugs now?
Yes, Durge is canon.
And Deathstick is a character originally created for the Star Wars: Uprising mobile game years ago, this story arc is her first appearance outside that game. And yeah the name is what it is.
The most feared man in the galaxy… A bounty hunter named Heroin….
I've been binging your videos, the star wars comics are really interesting
"Trying to avoid drawing the attention of the Crimson Dawn or the Empire, Chewbacca and Boba Fett began to fight silently."
Chewbacca being silent: *HROOOOOOOOAH*
When Durge was mentioned I had to rewind a bit to make sure I heard that right. And sure enough it was him. So I guess he’s back to being Cannon now.
Hoi hoi! Happy new year! I really appreciate all the hard work you put into your channel. I’m looking forward to seeing what your channel will bring this year.

It is Canon.
Pretty badass I like gow they tied all the new martial into this so well like the crimson dawn for example
didnt know that han solo had beef with every single crime organisation
Awsome video!!
I think the implication that Lando had to apologize to the Falcon to get it to work is really funny
Posting rate is perfect! 10min+ videoes always amazing
Tell us the fate of crimson dawn
I don’t know why, but I feel like this is way to complicated. It has sets up many details that will never really get tied up.
ngl the image of a Hutt wearing a pair of headphones like he's a Twitch streamer made me laugh hahaha
Ohh I wanna cry at 7:35 cuz that’s just beautiful. Maul would be so proud of Kira as she both traded hands with Vader and lived, increasing her reputation. While also orchestrating a plan that even Maul would clap for. Also DURGE IS BACK BABY AND WITH A VENGEANCE.
Now if only Disney would bring back Dash Rendar and Kyle Katarn....
This story kills so many people I didn’t know died yet.I also love how boba spared bossk because they are close friends
yeah I guess they got bored and said fuck it, then slapped every major character they could find and crammed them into the same story.
No, it's all coordinated and planned
Lore Master 👊😁
This would make a great mini series
4:17 hold up! I thought Anakin killed dirge during the clone wars?
He got over it in another comic
That was in legends
Just watched and listened to this. Sounds like a spice dream to me. 😉
I recognize this bg music as the same as The Broken Sword. A LOTR channel 💯
Wouldn’t be surprised if we see Crimson Dawn again in The Book of Boba Fett😯😳🤞
If you put a bounty on a Mandalorian, you can consider yourself lucky if not at least 3 Clans knock at your door.
Its funny how crazy this is yet it is still canon honestly surprised none of this was mentioned in the book of boba fett
Imagine having Mars Bringer of War playing over the battles in the Bidding Hall lmao
This story had more plot twists than a twisler
Would've been awesome if Boba had his own specialized black "stealth" armor
I read that and went “Da fuck”
Vader was just toying with his prey when he fought Kira
Holy crap, didn't expected to see Durge being canonized.
"...which ended with him falling into the Sarlacc Pit" But the book isn't over for Boba Fett yet...
Wow, I have to admit I am now interested in the comic book version of Star Wars.
Im sorry did he just say boba OVERPOWERED a wookie?
Aussie strength
Bruh, didn’t Boba get paid by Vader for finding the Falcon?
what is the music in the video, and also nice vid.
Nice to see Qira again
Whoa what a great story 😮
Why would the Empire be interested in Solo after Vader himself gave Solo to Boba Fett?
Weren't you paying attention, it was to lure Luke
@@brwntwn123 why not just keep Solo then instead of giving him to Boba Fett? Well the answer is that it’s just half-baked storytelling by dimwitted comic writers, so there’s no point in really thinking it through too hard.
