For anyone else trying to make sense of this video… Once you remove the motor, you will need a torx 45, then you will need to spin the nut on the caliper clockwise until it stops, and then you will be able to compress the piston.
Only the Nissan Dealer has them, I went to all of the auto parts store also with no luck. I am sorry but I don't have the part number anymore, I don't know what I did with the receipt.
I did not have any problems. I am not a mechanic so I can not tell you if you missed something, just watch more videos maybe. If this is your first break job you might run into problems, I remember my first break job…
It is definitely not my first brakd job. Electronic parking brakes self-adjust. When you took them apart they were in a position that was considered adjusted. When you pushed the caliper back in you changed the adjustment. So you then just reinstalled the motor and turndd the system on, and I'm asking did they self adjust properly? Does your parking brake work properly after doing this brake job? I'm not asking about anybody else I'm asking about you and this job. Were they adjusted well after you finished the job?

After you finished installing the pads and putting the motor back on, did you have any problem with the parking brake? Did it set itself up correctly?
