You can try to shot your keyboard pins, my whole laptop keyboard including the power button doesnt work, I shot the pins and its on now. Search up on YT how to shot the keyboard pins

My dell inspiron 3493's power button is permanently pressed down and stuck. While i was fixing some other non-electrical issue with super glue, it leaked a bit to the power button and now i can't pry it up to try and shake the glue off. Is there anyway i can fix this by myself or do i really need professional service? Oh, and i can't seem to turn it on any other way.

Try removing the battery, then hold the power button for 30 seconds. Plug it in without the battery and it should start. That worked for me just now.

Yes these options are not in every laptop but search somewhere it will be if it is in BIOS or you can search for your laptop on google regarding this

Thanks! My Dell Latitude E6540 soft power button broke. I was able to fix it, but this will reduce use of the fix in case it doesn't last.
