thanks a lot , water poured on a laptop and it started malfunctioning, it wouldnt start or charge, i was also able to fix the ram issue by swapping the ram ports, it all turned out that it was due to cmos. i had been thinking it was an ic issue, i had earlier tested all the ic and capacitors, which were all working, i was confused till i stumbled upon this video. thanks a lot. i appreciate. the laptop is now working and charging

Hi, when i turn on my laptop(hp) it shows " reboot devices failed , press enter to continue" , but after doing so it still does not come on? I did however subscribed online to Avast ant-virus software just before it does this.

After cleaning the spilled water inside and leaving it dry for a day.the laptop wouldn't start again. I have been trying all means for the last 3days till when I landed on your video. I think my issue is related to BIOS and I need to reset it. Since long my Vaio laptop battery had gone exhausted. So, I used to start my laptop by connecting it directly and pressing the power button on, lights would start blinking, fan would start running but there'd be no display; the laptop wouldn't turn on. In such a situation can I connect the laptop with an external monitor or an led tv will there be display? If yes, what does that signify? Please confirm connecting the laptop with an external monitor is advisable? The laptop screen went black when the boot mode was changed from LEGACY to UEFI. Do you think by taking out the CMOS battery will reset the BIOS?
Hey out of all your tutorials in this series this one seems to be the closest to my problem. However this didn't solve it. I have an elitebook 8560p and for the past week my laptop hasn't been working. This happened many times in the past and always I somehow been able to fix it but this time no matter what I do, the moment I insert the charger, the light is solid white and stays there, not booting, not doing anything. I had a dead battery for the longest time and this time I even bought a new battery which I think works, but the moment it's inserted, the light instantly goes white. No response to me trying to power it. And no matter how many times I hold the power button it doesn't change the situation it seems. What do I do? I can't work, I can't get anything done, and I know my laptop isn't fully dead, I know this isn't the end. I just need to find the right solution from here..

I have removed any residual voltage in the system and tested the charger, I have also reset the bios and switched the rams in the two slots available. It will indicate correctly when an adapter is plugged in and it will also indicate power on led just for like 3secs and that's it. Hoping to hear from you soon

I don't get it. You removed the battery and tried turning it on first and didn't solve the issue. However, what did you do differently that it worked on the second time? You removed the ram but put it back on eventually but still it was just unplugging the battery and it worked?

I did a full recovery on my pc because it was running slower than usually and when it did a full recovery i couldnt use keyboard nor mouse to type in country/region etc and trying to find bios only opened a black window with my pc specs and startup menu but no bios, what should i do, i will pay you as much as you ask for if you are able to help me out
You need to ensure you are tapping the right key to take you to the BIOS upon boot up. Also the bios has to be working before you can see your PC specs, so I think you are struggling to get into the BIOS settings, which will require pressing the right key after pressing the power button. Hope this helps

Can you try to order your files according to size, not using size:gigantic, but using the file size column, then ensure you set your folder to "show all hidden files and folder", maybe that helps

Hello Brother I have Hp Notebook 15s du3xxx, I wanted to upgrade to ssd. So while windows setup it was not showing any drives (Storage Controller Drivers Issue). By watching TH-cam video, I Downloaded Intel Rapid Storage Zip and Extracted It into bootable usb and then loaded that drivers while setup. Then after setup It Booted perfectly and worked for a while. Screen Flickered Sometimes While Working. After Shutdown, Now Laptop is Showing no life signs and while charging no led lights. Nothing at all. Can You Help me!?
Try the steps in the other videos I made in this series and see if any helps. Remember the press and hold for 40 seconds after removing battery and power

My laptop has a slightly different problem. The battery is draining whilst plugged in. We have two identical laptops, Elitebook 840 G6. One of them is not powering on. I have followed the instructions and with the aid of switching the batteries between laptops, I have concluded that the battery is okay and is able to charge if placed in the other laptop, using the same charger. If I disconnect the battery I noticed that the laptop does not power on. What could be the most likely problem?
This sounds like an issue with the power distribution circuit of the pc or the control circuit board in the battery. To be clear, do you mean that when the battery is attached to the laptop not powering on, it charges fine?

What did you use to remove the back of the laptop?
I have tried the battery stuff, the RAM TEST and still no dispoay. I found that removing battery from the BIOS may work is that true?

Might not be the battery. If you suspect so, then try removing the battery to see if it works fine with only adapter

I have no battery in laptop, I remove it years agoo. What is the possible problem, I check few times if everything is connected, it is but stil nothing.... :(

I did a full recovery on my pc because it was running slower than usually and when it did a full recovery i couldnt use keyboard nor mouse to type in country/region etc and trying to find bios only opened a black window with my pc specs and startup menu but no bios, what should i do, i will pay you as much as you ask for if you are able to help me out
You need to ensure you are tapping the right key to take you to the BIOS upon boot up. Also the bios has to be working before you can see your PC specs, so I think you are struggling to get into the BIOS settings, which will require pressing the right key after pressing the power button. Hope this helps

Hello, I have a MSI Raider GE76 12UH I recently got the LCD replaced after the hinge snapped and screen went black along with the LCD the motherboard also got replaced, but sents then the laptop will not power on, charge, or show no signs of receiving power at all. All the normal troubleshooting has been done and still nothing. Do you have any ideas? MSI is giving me the runaround and I desperately need the laptop for college.

When i make an update and it tells me to reset my laptop i go ahead and do that that but when i hit the power on button this long paragraph appears and then it disappears within 2 seconds… that black screen stays blank and then the paragraph comes up and disappears how can i fix this issue?

In the my own case yesterday I power my system 3 times it on for few seconds and goes off, until the fourth time it came on. i tried my best to try to do this it didnt work my lenovo laptop has been not working for about 2 years now and i still have lots of issues with it im not old enough to order new battries i tried to plug it up to a hdmi and still did not work both of the chargers are fine how it happened is my dog was between the cord and i tried getting her of and i ended up pulling the laptop and the back part was open if u can make any tutroials in the futore it will help alot thank you

hey sir could you please help me,I am trying to remove a file that i cant find, its in my C drive and its a 23GB file its from a game called rocket league on epic games, i searched in the C drive size:gigantic because its supposed to show files above 128mb but it couldnt find it, could you please help me?
Can you try to order your files according to size, not using size:gigantic, but using the file size column, then ensure you set your folder to "show all hidden files and folder", maybe that helps

When I used the ram from a different hp, the system boots up but the fan stop spinning after 1 min. When the fan spins, doesn't have that spin to cool the system

hello brother i have hp g3 840 7th gen...some time after the latest bios update i am facing an issue whenever i turn on the laptop the fan stats very fast and then shuts off entirely with caps lock light blinking once...and then turns on after many uncountable tries which are not equally intervaled...i changed the ram got a mechanic to reconfigure the BIOS CHIP BUT ITS STILL SHOWING THE SAME PROBLEM your help is needed.

Hello Brother I have Hp Notebook 15s du3xxx, I wanted to upgrade to ssd. So while windows setup it was not showing any drives (Storage Controller Drivers Issue). By watching TH-cam video, I Downloaded Intel Rapid Storage Zip and Extracted It into bootable usb and then loaded that drivers while setup. Then after setup It Booted perfectly and worked for a while. Screen Flickered Sometimes While Working. After Shutdown, Now Laptop is Showing no life signs and while charging no led lights. Nothing at all. Can You Help me!?
Try the steps in the other videos I made in this series and see if any helps. Remember the press and hold for 40 seconds after removing battery and power

My laptop has a slightly different problem. The battery is draining whilst plugged in.
We have two identical laptops, Elitebook 840 G6. One of them is not powering on. I have followed the instructions and with the aid of switching the batteries between laptops, I have concluded that the battery is okay and is able to charge if placed in the other laptop, using the same charger.
If I disconnect the battery I noticed that the laptop does not power on. What could be the most likely problem?
This sounds like an issue with the power distribution circuit of the pc or the control circuit board in the battery. To be clear, do you mean that when the battery is attached to the laptop not powering on, it charges fine?
