    The Kore Essentials micro adjustable battle belt is a huge game changer. Cobra buckles are the gold standard, but their lack of adjustability can make them uncomfortable over time. How do the current best-selling battle belts on the market compare to Kore and each other? Let's find out!

    When I started watching I got the impression “oh, so this is just a Kore commercial and why the others suck” but you actually did a great job of explaining each belt and their pros and cons. I appreciate seeing each belt without a bunch of stuff attached too, like most other belt reviews.

      @LA10-33 I work in private security contracting and make about 5x as much as a law enforcement officer, and can tell you without a doubt I own all of these. Some of them sit in a bag as backup in case my primary breaks, but most of them are hand outs for new guys on their first detail to give them a chance to make money before investing in their own equipment. Also, your attitude is exactly why I stayed away from law enforcement. Egocentric smart ass.

      The Safelife does loosen up a bit over time, as a long time user of the safelife, it is a great belt but the after a few years I have moved to a Ronin and it is a slightly better belt out of the box. I just wonder how it will hold up after a year of use.

    Based on this review my son gifted me an od green Kore battle for christmas. I have to tell yall this belt is utterly amazing. Never seen one like this. Now I have 3 other battle belts all with cobra buckles and all kitted up cause I spend too much time at the range. Im an instructor there. The fact that I can move the sizing in and out a little at a time and not h ave to un hook the buckle and reposition any velcro is great. I never cared for the cobra buckles and all the velcro. I change my load all day so I need to be able to tighten and loosen the belt to suit my needs. The kore belt does that and the quality is better than most in my opinion. Great review, thanks!!

    Absolutely love that you put this together and super glad that I came across it. I’ve been looking into getting my first battle belt to take my trying to the next level. After your presentation of them all I’m leaning towards the Kore belt, but just curious as to how they size for wide frame individuals? Again thank you for the great informative video.

    • @TheWarriorSolution
      @TheWarriorSolution  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Glad it was helpful! You absolutely won't go wrong with a Kore belt (any of them, not just gun belts). They are designed to fit up to a 58" waist out of the box and you cut them down to whatever size you need when you first set it up. No need to measure or worry about ordering the wrong size. You can also trim off some if you slim down, so you wouldn't need to buy a new smaller belt. The only reason I wear other belts at this point is that I'm testing them. When I'm not filming something, I'm wearing a Kore belt.
      Don't forget the "TWS10" code if you get one from Koreessentials.com. I actually don't get any commission or anything from it, it's just a blanket 10% store-wide discount for TWS fans. :)

    I use the Kore battle belt as my daily police duty belt - and there is nothing to complain about! I it has everthing what I personally was looking for long time! A Slim belt - stiff and rigid so the pouches, holsters and other stuff fit and hold tight without jerking around. Works great with the innerbelt which prevents additionally any movement. Perfect size adjustments are easily be done one handed even you sit in the car. The belt hanger is als working very fine and holds the weight without any troubles in the locker. All in all - the way how a duty belt kit should be!

    I currently run a Kore Essentials Tactical Belt at the range and Kore’s leather belts for EDC. And they are truly great. I’ve been looking for a duty belt/battle belt for specific situations (I’m an RSO, for example). The Kore belt looks great, but I’ve been concerned that maybe I’m missing something compared to other belts.

    Dude, thank you so much for this video. Usmc vet but never dabbled with battle belts or similar waist rigs and for some reason i simply could not find any basic/fundamental knowledge on the subject anywhere on yt. Specifically the usage of multiple belt layers, the difference in belt categories/ daily usage/edc/tactical etc. Just popular brands and consumer comparisons. This gave me the basic understanding i needed while giving me a good starting point on what to look for in each product. (Also might have sold me on the Kore brand lolz)

    • @TheWarriorSolution
      @TheWarriorSolution  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Right on! I'm glad I could help point you in the right direction. I also didn't really jump on board the the battle belt line of thinking until after I was out and training with active guys as a contractor. It's the way to go for sure, especially when you don't want/need to have your full plate carrier on but still want a handgun, extra mags, and some basic medical gear on you. Going with a well known and high quality option makes a huge difference too. Once you try a Kore belt, you'll never go back.

    I wear 7 days a week a Kore to hold my pants on with nylon suspenders. 3 years strong. My daily job wears belts out from curling, stretching, and sagging. The Kore has been an excellent belt, and when I have holsters on, they never move around. I really like the Kore belt. And the adjustable buckle with the track system is the best.

    Well put together video man! I just found your page and sub'd! You have the coolest logo I've seen in a while. It's hard to beat a Spartan helmet made from a bolt face! I've been rocking the Kore essentials regular belt for several years now. That thing has been rock solid and is the only belt I wear 95% of the time. (I'll even slip it on when wearing a suit sometimes, lol.) I didn't know about the battle belt version, but I'm about to buy one right now! You're spot on about the adjustability. Once you have experienced it, you can't go without it! If you don't already have some, make a sticker or keychain of that logo so I can order one, lol. Stay blessed brother!

    This is the first time I came across your channel. When the video first started, I thought this was going to be one of those stupid “Top 5 police gear ultimatum duty belt duty” reviews with the computer generated voice. Was very glad to see this is a very legit channel!
    Absolutely fantastic review! I come from the LE side, so I’ve had little experience with genuine battle belts. Thanks for taking the time to really go through the full features as well as opinions of each belt. I jumped on the Kore bandwagon this past year for my EDC, as well as their executive protection belt (same 1.75” belt structure as the battle belt) for low profile church security. It is true that once you use that ratcheting system, it is hard to go back to anything else.
    Glad I found this channel!

    Tacticon knows their customer base, which is why they'll accommodate a larger size, haha. That's not to say it's a bad thing. As a middle aged delivery guy, the most I'll ever really need a battle belt for is range play, maybe some classes, and most importantly to be ready for what goes bump in the night. I love how fast you can throw it on and go, especially being one neighbourhood away from a pretty unsavory area of town. To me it's the same as a homeowner choosing Black and Decker power tools, where as a professional really needs Dewalt. They are up to $40 now, but I was very surprised with the quality for the money. It's also very comforting to have the trauma kit right there on the belt. Hopefully I never need it.

    • @TheWarriorSolution
      @TheWarriorSolution  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yep, I agree completely. Sometimes you don't need Gucci gear and the Chineseium will do the trick for the most part. Good job carrying the trauma kit, most people forget that and it's the one item most likely to be used for real.

    Pro tip: when placing your Safariland UBL holster mount on your battle belt, if you begin the weave on your battle belt from the outer portion of the UBL holster mount, rather then from the back portion like it appears at 3:16, you’ll have a much more flush presentation on your belt. Versus the “bunched up” look it has on yours. Great video though!

    Sorry to bother you, if you don’t mind, what magazine pouches are you running on the Kore belt? Why are you running the one on the angle? Is that for getting up and down easier? What IFAC is that? Thanks for the help.

    • @TheWarriorSolution
      @TheWarriorSolution  ปีที่แล้ว

      Not a bother at all. :) The pistol magazine pouches are from @TREXARMS with Techlocks, the AR mag pouch is a Safariland 774, and the IFAK is an ETA Trauma Kit (Fatboy) from @ITStactical. The front pistol mag is at an angle because it makes it easier to grab it just based on how my arm bends. If you watch pro pistol shooters, you'll notice that their pistol mags are all canted until they are past the 9 o'clock position. It's just faster and easier to reload with them angled like that. Plus when you bend over, the top of the mag doesn't pock you in the stomach as much.

    I currently have the Safe Life belt, and I can confirm it is extremely stiff. Like wrapping a steel band around your waist, and then trying to weave that steel band through the buckle’s triglide. Very unforgiving, very difficult to get the adjustment right. I’ll definitely be picking up a Kore belt. I use a Nexbelt Appendix for EDC and that ratchet system is a game changer.

    • @TheWarriorSolution

    I'm interested in the durability of the inner belt. How does it hold up over time? I know with regular hook and loop belts, their hold becomes iffy overtime. That inner belt is going to take a lot of abuse over time, especially for us who wear it every day.

    I would love to see Kore make this in a wider option.. like a 2.25-2.5” width. Also they could borrow one of the best features of the Cobra buckle by incorporating a dual tab system on their buckles. That way you have to pull or squeeze both at the same time to release the track.

    • @TheWarriorSolution
      @TheWarriorSolution  2 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I really like the 1.75" width, personally. It's wide enough to load up whatever you'd like to carry, but not so wide that it digs into your legs and stomach when you sit down. As far as the buckle, the spring loaded lever Kore uses does a really nice job of staying in place if there is tension in the belt. I've found I have to push the belt into the buckle ever so slightly to take enough pressure off the track and hook for it to release. Never had any issues with any Kore buckle ever releasing when I didn't want it to.

    • @_DST0NE_
      @_DST0NE_ 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@TheWarriorSolution honestly my wish for 2+” width belt is purely selfish. I want a belt that I can use to replace my tool belt at work (petrochemical plant). The one that’s wearing out on me is an old duty belt that loosens up throughout my 12 hour shifts. I’m going to give their Garrison belt a shot to see if the 1.75 width is good enough for me. Good video by the way.

    • @TheWarriorSolution
      @TheWarriorSolution  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm definitely biased towards Kore, but I'm also very confident you'd be really happy with their battle belt and wouldn't regret buying one. You just can't beat the adjustability and stiffness. The battle belt is 1.75" wide, while the inner belt it attaches to is only 1.5". You can pretty much wear it with any pants you'd like. Personally, I always recommend KÜHL pants because of their fit, comfort, and durability. I used to be affiliated with KÜHL, but they ended their affiliate program for now. I'd still 100% recommend them. Other "tactical" brands are Crye, Beyond Clothing, Vertx, Proper, 5.11, and Arc'Teryx.

    Was each belt tested out/run through any type of drill(s)? Was there a methodology for review or is this just first glance/impressions? Did kore make you wear their shirt as part of the sponsor or is it just personal choice. Why include a one piece over/padded style belt if all the other belts are 2-piece. Did kore choose the lineup or did you get to choose?

    • @TheWarriorSolution
      @TheWarriorSolution  4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I wore each belt and ran through a series of shooting drills, including running and moving around in each belt over several days. There is a lot more footage than what you see in the video (people only watch for so long...). I also have quite a bit of experience with battle belts in general, so I'm pretty confident in first impressions as well. The Safelife belt, for example, is too stiff in my opinion, and isn't the best choice.
      Kore doesn't "make me" do anything. I'm an authorized Kore dealer, and they are great friends. I choose to wear the shirt because I love the brand. They did not have any say in any portion of the video, what was said about each belt, or the final edit. My videos and reviews are my own, regardless of who pays the bills. I choose the belts, and kore purchased them for me to use. The Tacticon belt was a last minute addition because the cost of all the other belts is so high, I wanted to included an affordable alternative for those that can't afford a $150+ belt setup right now.

    I used the safelife as a duty belt for a year, and it's falling apart. With fraying material with 3 months of 40hr weeks of use. At 7 months stitching stated to come undone, and now there's a section of the outer belt where the velcro is no longer attached. It's good enough for a cheapish in a pinch buy but be saving up for better right away.

  • @rodiculous9464

    The kore belt looks convenient but i cant help but wonder how durable it is. It looks like all the pressure rides on the plastic tab that goes into the fairly shallow recesses. If you got hooked on something while running it might tear the whole thing off. Though i might see why that could he a positive in some cases.

    • @TheWarriorSolution
      @TheWarriorSolution  หลายเดือนก่อน

      The buckles are all metal, so it's a metal tab that interacts with a polymer track in the belt. I asked Kore about the breaking weights and if they had done any testing a while back. Apparently, the average breaking weight was around 450lbs. Not safe for a helicopter safety line, but definitely strong enough for just about anything else.

      100% Kore Essentials. You can't beat the adjustability and strength. You can loosen it up a notch or two while you drive around, and if you need to dismount for a stop, or chase some hood rat down, you can tighten it up basically instantly so it's locked down and ready to go when you need to grab something. I couldn't mention this in the video but a certain government three-letter agency just ordered a few hundred of them to replace what they are currently using. That's the purpose of the hexagon material at the front of the inner belt. It's extremely flexible, so it adjusts and flexes as you tighten the outer belt. That wouldn't be possible with the other inner belts featured because there wouldn't be anywhere for the stiff material to go. You can see how the inner belt adjusts with the outer belt in the video.

    • @TheWarriorSolution
      @TheWarriorSolution  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great question! Most of the belts use micro MOLLE webbing sewn onto the outer belt and basically work the same way. The exception is AXL, since the Tegris material is laser cut and you have to weave your pouches through that. Because of that, I found the AXL belt to be the most annoying to work with. In second to last place is Safelife. It's just way too stiff and a pain in the butt to get pouches mounted and everything setup.
      You can mount pouches on the outside of all of them except the AXL. You could also use something like velcro one-wrap bands and just loop it around the entire belt. Esstac prefer's this method, actually, and their battle belt doesn't have any micro MOLLE webbing at all. It's just a stiff cobra buckle belt that is designed for the pouches to mount with either one wrap, WTFix straps, or Fight Light MALICE clips.
